Was in the mood for Kanafe and this was a place the had serveral different kinds. We got there right. before closing and tried a couple different kinds. Both were very good and filled the need. it is hard to find a good kanafe outside of the Middle East but this place is good enough.

A fabulous Middle- Eastern bakery that My husband discovered after a friend was raving about it and he decided to check it out. They have the most delicate and fresh Middle-Eastern pastries and the baked goods, that I tried, weren't overly sweet. I prefer my sweets that way. The Ghraybeh (shortbread cookies)are amazing! They literally crumble when you bite into them. I also fell in love with the maamoul(filled cookie) both the dates and the pistachio were very good and I did not even know I liked dates! However, one taste of the maamoul and I was a fan! They also have baklava and I had the pistachio baklava. So delicious and flaky! They also have basbousa, that my mother-in-law had made for me before, but I did not care for it. However, when I tried theirs, I enjoyed it. ( Our secret) . I believe it's also called Namoura as well. It's a delightful semolina cake soaked in syrup and then topped with an almond, or maybe it was a pistachio, but whatever it was, it was good! Lastly, my husband has bought the Knafeh a few times and it was tasty as well. I liked that too! (Shocker)! But it was rich, so I just had a bite. It was filled with creamy cheese and a syrup poured on top. I don't have a picture of that one, but , I understand they sell several varieties . He had the one with the vermicelli noodles on it and it was good. I'd never eaten vermicelli in a dessert, but strangely it worked. My husband has been back several times and my he said each time the workers were very nice and accommodating. He's also encountered the owner a few times and he said the owner was friendly. I simply cannot stress enough, how fresh and delicious, the pastries are at A Sweet Factory.

Amazing pastries, cookies and baklava throughout the bakery. What an amazing find. Great customer service and the sweets are beyond imaginable. Halawet al juben was amazing, petit four I can't stop eating and the graybeh just melts in your mouth. Visited Houston for two days and gained 10 lbs! Love this spot!

Lovely place to get Mediterranean (and some French) desserts. They have a vast array, and I tried several different kinds of baklava and kunafe. It is priced very reasonably, and there is plenty of seating. It has a very causal ambiance.

A Sweet factory has incredible sweets all around the store. You have so many options to choose from in terms of several different kinds of sweet delights! The staff were so sweet in helping us pick out the perfect baklava to take back to Austin with us. The Knafe was very good and flavorful. I recommend if you are in the area to grab a quick little sweet treat. The atmosphere was nice, however, it is in a more run down part of town but its definitely worth stopping by. The knafe was pretty great, not dry at all and easy to bite into with just the right amount of sweetness to it. The baklava is also super easy to bite into very flavorful and sweet. We got the pistachio baklava as we prefer the pistachio one to the walnut one and it was just the right amount of crunch.

I just got back from visiting Turkey and had a major craving for künefe!I was surprised to find various types here so I ordered a couple of different variations for takeout. I tried the Lebanese kanafe, Turkish kanafe, and Ashta kanafe. The Turkish version has more texture and crisp. If you're taking it home, throw it in the airfryer for a little bit for that extra crispness! The Lebanese version is also good, with a more smooth texture and stringy cheese. The Ashta kanafe had a more floral taste to it, and the cream was so light and delicious. All of the things I tried were not too sweet and satisfied my craving! I also liked how the pistachio on top of each piece is finely crushed instead of chunky bits. These all go really well with a shot of espresso.I also ordered the Halloumi (pizza? bread?) because I love Halloumi and it was pretty good too! A good amount of sesame seeds were spread across the bread but it worked.I'll keep coming here when my cravings hit!

Amazing food and sweets. I cannot even describe this place as only a 5 star! It deserves 100 stars for the amazing and fast service and most delicious food I've ever had. This is the closest tasting food to back home. Please don't ever change your menu or move on us! God bless the owners.

They are located on a strip mall with plenty of parking. The store offers a wide variety of sweets which look delicious. I was in a mood; I bought a box of mixed baklavas, petit 4 cookies, Turkish knafe, cheese knafe, mamoul with pistachio, and mamoul with walnut. The baklavas had crispy phyllo dough which had a crunch to them. They were of the right sweetness. The knafes were sweet enough for me without adding the syrup. The mamouls and petit 4 cookies were hard. It was tough to bit through. Once I got through the first bite of the mamouls, the flavors were ok, and they were packed with fillings. The petit 4 cookies tasted ok. The flavors were not strong. The staff was so nice to package my baklavas neatly in their store bag. The staff was super patient to answer all the questions I had. The cafe has a homely vibe. There are plenty of seating. It is a good place to enjoy the sweets.
