This was a solid midweek breakfast experience. It's a smaller, family-run restaurant so we were greeted warmly and given a run-down of the menu once we noted that we were first timers. The drinks came out slowly but then the food came out really fast...and it was good! Everything was very well seasoned. The two best items on the table were the veggie omelette and the fried fish. It was served with their homemade hot sauce which was described perfectly by our server as having some sweetness to it. The veggies in the omelette was sautéed and seasoned so well, and the fish was fried hard and seasoned to perfection!Next best we're the grits, which were salted well (good savory grits) and the melted cheese (an extra 50¢) complimented it. The Cup of Comfort Bowl was really truly a cup full of comfort food. It had grits, eggs, and Turkey sausage (you choose the meat) layered throughout. There were two layers of each ingredient, making it a 6 layer bowl. At the top, some sautéed peppers were sprinkled on for a little razzle dazzle. The fruit cup was solid; it had fresh, sweet fruit and berries.Alright, so here are the critiques: none of the bread was very good. The biscuit was kind of doughy, and the toast was soft. It wasn't toasted very much. The potatoes were a little too soft for roasted potatoes. We wanted some crunch to them. That said, they were nicely salted. The restaurant was clean as were the bathrooms. Parking was easy. We want to go back and try lunch!

This is a lovely local spot. It's cute and welcoming. The customer service was great. My server was great. I had an awesome conversation with her. My favorite meal was the lemon drop French toast. The lemon flavor was subtle but it create a unique taste to the French toast. 10/10I had the shrimp grits. This one was not my favorite. It was to heavy on the oil and I personally did not like the seasoning on it. 5/10 Overall, this was great lunch spot. I definitely encourage other to check them out.

I had very high expectations but was let down. However, I would return as the owner Felicia tried to make the food better and apologized for the agonizing long wait (over an hour for our food).I ordered the tofu scramble with potatoes. I asked for the potatoes without the parmesan butter on top, but got it anyway. The tofu scramble came in a mug and was more like a soup. It had so much liquid in the cup it was off-putting. To make it worse, the dish was very bland. The owner overhead me talking to my friend about the food and she offered to season it some more. She brought out a bowl of what appeared to be margarine, peppers, onions and seasoning salt sauteed together. It did help some but it was overly salty and did not help with the soupy consistency of the dish.My friend ordered the Philly omelet and had to drown it in hot sauce that wasn't hot (that was another mystery).Overall, we were both displeased with our food. However, the DJ did a phenomenal job and the restaurant is spacious and inviting.Because service was good, I will give this place another chance. I do realize that non-vegan restaurants often miss the mark on vegan offerings.

We tried to go here for breakfast thinking it sounded good. We were greeted by a less than enthusiastic wait person. She said sit wherever and the menu is on the QR code. The menu had no pics or explanations of what they were. When I asked for an actual menu she pulled out a bent old menu with old prices and descriptions. She seemed annoyed that we were there. We left and won't be back.

Went here for the Brunch at Night. Great concept. Music was good. Staff was fun, friendly, interactive and attentive! The food was delicious. We didn't have anything we didn't like. They have a homemade hot sauce that is a winner!! Can't wait to go back.

We ordered the Oreo French toast, fried lobster tail , grits and bacon, egg & cheese biscuit with potatoes. The bacon was really good, thick, not too crispy. Service was great and food was good. It was cute inside. Place was not busy when we went. I would recommend this place for a great breakfast. We will be back.

While the service was good, the food was awful:- Food was cold (Omelette and Steak/Eggs)- I bet you you could make a better steak than this, awful. If you wanted to eat it, make sure you ask for A1 sauce and pour all of it on it. - Grits were running and hot (hot wasn't really a concern since we decided to eat the cold food before it gets any colder)- Biscuits was actually good! - Ambiance was good! (Had some Karens next to us complaining about the wait but the waiter did a great job lowing the hostility) While it may seem I am the "Karen", I really don't recommend this place. Unless, you are trying something new.. Oh, I forgot to say we had hair in our food and they already include a 18% "gratitude" fee.
