I was initially excited for this new 888 location to open but a bit disappointed with the mediocracy of the food. Perhaps I had really high hopes and expectations but upon trying the foods, it was disappointing. The quality of the food did not match the high prices on the menu. We started off with the spring rolls, edamame beans and proceeded to order the sweet and sour chicken and the Kung Pao chicken. The spring rolls were oily and a bit bland. The edamame was good and was not too salty. Unfortunately the sweet and sour chicken was mainly just oily breading with tidbits of meat in it which, it was very disappointing. The Kung Pao chicken sauce was good but unfortunately it was more vegetables than meat, so I really wasnt getting what we paid for. *I felt as if they really held back on using meats and just used everything else such as the deep fry or vegetables to compensate to fill up space on our plates. I will confirm though the staff was friendly and the restaurant was kept clean. Overall, this was a very disappointing Chinese restaurant to spend my money on. With so many alternative Chinese restaurants to visit, I will not be visiting 888 Chinese restaurant again and I cannot recommend it.

Good food and good atmosphere, I decided on takeout and they certainly seemed busy with takeout orders. The woman at the front host stand was extremely pleasant and helpful ( she is a jewel) , my order came out quick and it was very tasty and plentiful. It looks very comfortable and clean inside to dine in, I will certainly visit again.

Just ok - pan fried dumplings are very good -Hunan chicken had some sort of weird twangy flavor I did not care for. General chicken was again - just ok. No cocktails - limited beer and wine menu.Service was ok - not bad - not great.Atmosphere was clean, very bright - but stiff. Not warm and welcoming. Would probably try again.

Delicious food and Great service! Priscilla was super nice and on point. My boys and I shared several things so we could try more. Seriously fantastic Must try! Btw, They do have 2 TVs for sports watching! Very reasonable prices too!

Ambiance: Ordered for delivery so cannot speak on restaurant interior/ambiance. Quick delivery! A bit pricey but that's to be expected nowadays. Chicken fried rice & pork fried rice were excellent and large portions - enough to share or have leftovers. Hot & sour soup was still warm after delivery, also good portion and tasty flavor. Would order again!

If you are craving "authentic" Chinese look no further than 888 Chinese. 100 percent exceeded all my expectations with their generous portions and delicious food! I was blown away by the sheer amount of food provided with my order. From the moment I opened the containers, I knew I was in for a treat.The menu boasts a delightful array of dishes. Whether you're a fan of traditional favorites like General Tso's Chicken or adventurous enough to try something new, 888 Chinese has something for everyone.Starting with the Wonton Soup, each spoonful was full of flavor and filled with plump wontons. The house fried rice was some savory goodness indeed and it was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The Orange Chicken and Sesame Beef were both absolute standouts, with tender meat and delicious sauces that left me wanting more.And let's not forget about the egg rolls - crispy, golden, and filled with a delicious combination of ingredients.Overall, 888 Chinese delivers not only quantity but also quality. I'm not an avid review writer but this food was so bland I had to. I had eaten here once before and remembered it being fairly tasty but this time around there was zero flavor. We ordered:Pan fries dumplings (these were actually quite good)Hot and sour soup (not hot or sour, no taste to it I had to add my own seasoning: a dash of salt and lots of black pepper) Beef lo mein (main ingredient was grease) King Pao chicken (pale and sad looking tiny pieces of chicken - again no flavor whatsoever) Disappointing. Number one rule that all cooks need to abide by is taste your food. There's no way that food would've gone out if it had been tasted.

Average Chinese food, we prefer Jing Xin up the road.Manager was loud and spoke what appeared to be some regulars... saw alot of greasy finger prints on doors and glass wall at entrance, floors coulda have used some tidying up too, several purses, drinks left at front booth ( not smart or a good look ) ordered two egg rolls , one was hot, the other not, you could tell it had been sitting around... not good, someone needs to retake the food handlers test on food safety and temperature.... IMO -GO CHECK OUT JING XIN ON FM 2920 by Don Agave, Wood Forest Bank and TX Childrens Pediatric
