Chips and salsa needs improvement but The food was delicious! Stuffed full of chicken in every bite, seasoned to perfection! I wanted to try a margarita but since the Arnold Palmer was subpar (I sent it back) I decided not to chance it. The service was awesome! We were seated and order was taken really fast. The food came out within minutes. The dining area is decorated with umbrellas on the ceiling and they have several tv's. The patio looked really nice but I think it was closed. However I did sneak a peek.

Big Donkey was so good. The lunch special was enough for lunch and take home dinner! We changed the regular sauce for sour cream sauce and we highly recommend it!Try it and thank me later!!

I actually want give them 3.5 stars. I have had better Mexican food, but the food here was tasty. This is one of the most affordable Mexican Buffets I have ever been too. All that food for $16.99. The food was fresh and there were many options. The star of the show was the MENUDO!! You are able to add hominy corn, onion, cilantro, and jalapeño. The street tacos were also a fave. I washed down my food with a mango margarita They also had American fare as well. If this place were in Houston, I would go back often. The staff was kind and brought items out quickly when asked. Outside they have a patio that overlooks the lake. Perfect setting for a beautiful day.

Good authentic Mexican food. Big menu and great service. Plenty of staff and they keep the chips and salsa filled.Make sure when you go to ask for Nancy the Mgr and say hello. She is very friendly, not afraid to say hi and talk to customers and I have even seen her carrying food to tables and helping her staff.I ordered the Los Primos Carnita and it was excellent, the rest of the table ordered fajitas and margaritas Excellent food at good prices and staff If awesome...If in Conroe you need to go eat here...

Tex-Mex is really easy to nail in our area but having an over-the-top buffet style all you can eat brunch makes this place a top five! We highly recommend that you go on Sunday between 8:00 and noon and partake in more food than the law allows :-)

In short: great Food, service, ambience and Reasonable pricing .First time visiting, won't be our last. One of the best, Mexican brunch options I've had. Can't wait to come back and try the lunch and dinner menu.

We always enjoy 7 Leguas, especially sitting outside where there is usually a nice breeze.Salsa is warm and tasty. The salsa verde has a nice spice and chips are good.We've shared the appetizers as a meal, had fajitas and combination plates. All tasty and enough fajitas to take home. The staff is always friendly and available. One of the managers frequently stops by our table to chat and check on us. There are plenty of regulars there when we go, so maybe you would call us regulars too. Staff is never trying to hurry customers out. Thanks 7 Leguas!

We had our sons' rehearsal dinner at 7 Leguas. Nancy assisted us in the coordinating of the event and she did a wonderful job. We had close to 100 people on the back deck. My family got there early to decorate and they already had the tables set up, wiped down and covered with the table coverings. Their stage allowed us to have a slide show and we brought a speaker/microphone to make announcements. It was perfect! The food was delicious and the margueritas were great! Thank you so much Nancy. It was a memorable event!
