I'm not going to lie this place is HOT. It's the new IT place to be.But what comes with being the new kid on the block? The bouncer. Expect to know someone unless you're a hot girl. If that's you, no prob. Fun time, IF you can get in.

I have never been to a club that treated the VIP so wrong..paid $280 for a section then the promoter asked us to move to the back...stating that the section was previously sold to another party...well give me my money back and I will leave..he gave me $100 back and scratch the drink out my hands while I was drinking...how ruled...never going back...

Saturday night. 10pm. Got there early to get our drink and dance on. Place is empty and you won't let us in? I know its empty because a couple friends are inside waiting on us...we aren't an ugly group either and we were all dressed up so you can't argue dress-code with me.I don't understand how a place will turn a group of people away when its completely nearly empty inside...its money they are just throwing away. So we all left, even the ones inside, and gave our patronage elsewhere. We won't be back and I won't be telling my friends to check this place out either.

After reading all these reviews bashing bouncers hell-bent on not letting anyone in, I feel like my group and myself have parted the Red Sea. We had no trouble getting in whatsoever. And there were 10 of us. And it was on a Friday. And it was like, midnight.Aside from having no cover fee, 5th Amendment also has its rockin' ambiance going for it. It struck me as industrial, sleek, posh... I love my clubs dark and seedy, and 5th Amendment's bar and ceiling lights emit a perfect amount of glowing, colorful light. I spotted a couple poles and a zip-line above the bar (yes, above the bar), but to my dismay, there weren't any takers. The dancefloor and bar take up the bottom floor, a VIP lounge area takes up the second floor, and there's an outdoor section complete with another bar and more lounging areas. It sounds like a lot, but it's really not. The moment you walk in through those massive glass doors, the entire club is pretty much restricted to whatever your eyes take in.The music was a mix of house and some hip-hop. I'm usually turned off by house music, but the DJ spun some admittedly-catchy beats, so you get no complaints from me. I also appreciated the fact that they turn down the music outside on the patio. Sometimes, a girl just wants to break away from the madness, take a breather in a quiet(er) place, and toast a drink with a friend. 5th Amendment grants you the luxury of choosing between a chill patio and a bumpin' club, and you're free to waltz in and out of them as you please.Although there was a good amount of people there that night, it still felt a little dead to me. When you're at places like this, you feed off the energy. If everyone's having fun, you get into it. Unfortunately, the crowd's energy was a little low, so I didn't have as much fun as I wanted. 5th Amendment is a hot place, but I wasn't totally feelin' it. Good thing I always give second chances.

I notice that this place needs an update on reviews. Been to this place once most recently...about 4 weeks ago. -parking is horrible, get there early, valet, or prepare to spend a long time trying to park you're car in a safe place. At the door, the men can seem intimidating, but I'm a good looking girl, so not much was asked of me (cover was $20). I think they have a guest list though, you have to contact promoters.Ok, this place is really really small! It wasn't a super crowded urban night (Thursday) but it was a full house. There's a mini dance floor, which is cool. But this place would be bomb if it was just a little bigger. Even so, I love the vibe. The DJ was awesome playing all the latest hip-hop and urban hits. -the bartenders are ok! I guess it depends on who knows who around here. Or opposites attract? Lol the first bartender I went to was a guy and he fixed my drinks really good, however, the girl I went to for 2nd rounds didn't make my drinks as good and I ordered the same thing. And she was so focused on dancing to the music and greeting non-tipping friends that she took forever to get my order. Probably the only thing I hated about the night. After the club there's a wing truck outside!!! Omg! If you get club munchies, this is the spot! It gets crowded, but don't let the line scare you away. These ppl know what time it is and they got those wings ready before the let out, so the line moves fast. Don't forget to try their special wing sauce. And oh, they accept major credit or debit cards too! Can't beat that!So overall, combined. This classy experience, on a decent and not too crowded night would be awesome for someone that's just trying to get out.

We checked out 5th Amendment for the first time yesterday on a Saturday night. No line, no cover, and the bouncer was friendly and nice. One of our guy friends wore shorts, so dress code is probably not strictly enforced ^^ The place is pretty small, with the bar with go-go dancers on one side, and the DJ and couches on the other side.Apparently Saturday was Asian night, so that might explain the sitting and standing around and lack of fist pumping and grooving-- even some head bobbing would be appreciated! :P Unlike what previous reviewers said, we didn't encounter any super sloppy drunks; some of the guys there were goofy, but they livened up the scene a bit :D Music was upbeat in the beginning, and the closer you got to the speakers near the far wall, the likelihood of you going deaf within the night increased by 2398429384 times. There is a lot of light patterns to stare at as well~ The place was pretty empty until around 12am when people start coming in, but even then, it feels a bit like a high school dance decorated with wallflowers :P ... but that just means more room for us, mwahaha!~ My friends and I didn't care how silly or weird we looked being the only ones spastastically dancing in the many empty patches on the dance floor. One things that bummed me out was half of the music. I don't know how to dance to rap @_@'' There's only so much a little girl like me can do before I start looking ridiculous attempting gangster and swag moves, and something is definitely wrong when I start resorting to disco and robot moves, haha! Thirty minutes of pure rap is mind-blowingly boring to me. The DJ should spin some more dance-able tunes, but I guess we got some practice jamming to rap, haha~ ^_^bWater is free (yay!), and one of the bartenders was really pretty last night (girl crush!) :3 If you're lucky, you can find parking on the streets. Otherwise, head towards the private lots where you pay $8 to $10 a pop before walking a little bit to the club. There's also valet parking too~5th Amendment is fun if you and your friends want space to throw your arms out and jump around when dancing, but if you're intimidated by an empty club and crave the skin-to-skin and crowded dance floor, then this place is not the best (I can only say for Saturdays though!)~

I looked at the pics of this place and I was like ''whoa ! It looks pretty '' Then I went there with the girls at 10:30 on a Saturday , that ugly old d bag doorman asked us if we had reservation. I would rather spend all my money at crave sushi next door instead of this empty piece of shit club. So I guess this place has made enough Money already so they won't let anybody in even though nobody is inside?

Solid three star. I've only patronized this nightclub on Thursday nights. That night is usually the "hip hop" or urban type of crowd. I should check it out on a different nite and see how it compares. Personally, I would only go to this club if I have a section. It's not a place I would go to bar hop. Section only. The layout is weird. All of the VIP booths are on one side of the club overlooking the people without sections lol. Awww.On Thursday, there is a $20 dollar entrance fee. Valet is 20 bucks, too. The drinks are pricey, like 14 each without tip-so again get a section or just get bottle service. It will be cheaper in the long run if you plan on drinking all nite. The ladies' restroom is very clean, with an attendant that provides mints, candies, mouthwash and even high quality perfumes. So bring in a few dollars to tip her. There are sections and a bar area on the patio.

Dayum. Why is everyone drinking all that Haterade? 5th Element is what the club bunnies of Houston could fist pump to and what the revival of Midtown needs. It's located in the same strip center as Crave Sushi, and my first thought was that this place was going to be just like all the other strip-center clubs: tiny, thrown together and a total joke. Not so much.5th Element is HUGE. My gf and I strutted up to the door - no really. We did. They were bumpin' "our song," Kanye's "Love Lockdown." Once greeted by friends, we waltzed in and then looked at each other with complete surprise. This Vegas-style bar features non-stop go-go girls, a zip-line, a lengthy bar and dance floor, a lounge-y raised level complete with its own bar, an insanely good DJ (on Saturdays, at least. We head bopped the entire night and my friend even taught me how to Dougie.). And the most unique thing I've ever seen at a Houston nightclub: A live - and hot - drummer in the middle of the dance floor. Bar service was great. I somehow made nice with bartender Josh, who had the drinks flowing all night - and at a ridiculously small tab. For the most part, my clubbing days are over, but I'd come back to 5th Element for a girls' night/birthday/or whatever. So long as they maintain the place - keep that music bumpin' (Hey, Mr. DJ. I want one of your CDs.) and the club atmo drama free.
