52nd Station Diner

52nd Station Diner isn't what type of place you come to if you want a poached egg with a hollandaise. it is simply an everyday breakfast spot, and sometimes that all you want. Regular. 52nd station is the type of place you frequent and overtime everyone knows your name. the menu appears large, but it's really just the same items with slightly different options. and more importantly pretty affordable, too! It's not the biggest place, but they have enough seating for at least 20 people. I ordered what is home fries and hot sausage link. Like I said the food isn't going to blow you away, but it's going to do the job if you just want a normally cooked breakfast. the people that work there are pretty friendly and make you want to stay to talk about anything current. My food was a bit salty, but that is a normal occurrence in most hood spots. I'm actually curious as to how the pancakes taste and next time I am by, I will definitely check them out.

Best breakfast spot on 52nd street. The food is consistently good, servings are generous, they always get special requests right, prices are reasonable and service is friendly.

I'd just gotten off work a seven and although I have heard of this place I'd never tried it. I wanted fish and grits so that's what I got. It was very good the fish was delicious and the grits were just standard but they hit the spot. I also got my 2 yr old grand baby some pancakes. They were okay , a little on the thick side but he enjoyed them. Just standard breakfast fare done good. Wait time was pretty good too!!

The food is good n they love the ppl they serve!! Excellent customer service!!! I recommend this place highly if you're ever in the area!! I've been coming for yrs!! Haven't been in a ehile but when I walk thru the door notbing but love n they remember how you like your meal prepared!!! Awesomeness!!!

Disclaimer: this review is strictly based off service given I am on the go and have yet to bite my food. This place is super fast, clean and efficient. Noticing I did not get comfortable the woman taking my order noticed I wanted my order to go yet still asked to confirm. Just about EVERYTHING on the menu was under 5 bucks and more impressively this place has many regulars in which staff even has their orders memorized. They have one woman conduct with the chefs to take orders and handle food and another handles the dirty money. This gave me peace of mind and a lasting first impression. Highly recommended despite the reputation of the neighborhood.

This small little place has the potential to be one of the best restaurants in Philly. The staff are awesome; courteous, considerate, kind, and willing to do their best to please their patrons. The food is simply delicious; every bit as good as Gmom's. Simply put, "I Love it!!"

I have been coming to 52nd Station Diner for years. The area of 52nd street is a great commercial area. The diner is one of the cleanest diners in the city, the staff, owners and management take great pride in the establishment. The interior is always very clean as well as the exterior.The food is always made by quality, fresh ingredients. Also, there is a wide range of options from pancakes, turkey bacon, and grits. I came in yesterday morning and ordered a big breakfast platter for dine in with orange juice. The food was deliciously amazing and well prepared. You are greeted by the staff who are very welcoming and friendly to there customers. This is a huge plus in the service and food industry being greeted and seen as a customer. A simple hello, and good morning helps create a good atmosphere in any food establishment. I would arguably state that 52nd Station diner is the top and best breakfast spot at 52nd street in West Philadelphia. It is located by the market Frankford el train line, and a bus, plenty of street and meter parking nearby. Lastly, the food is well-priced, plenty of options for breakfast and lunch. They open early, and serve delicious food fast. Quality great service, amazing food, very clean place. Definitely visit 52nd street station diner for breakfast and lunch.

This place is amazing! The people aren't like those oh hi what would you like to order people but they are very friendly and love talking to customers. The food is very good for these types of standards and I love it! The first time I saw it I thought it would be dirty and not very good but I was wrong. It's probably one of the cleanest places in town always cleaning up. Giving you fine dining. I would recommend this place to lots,
