510 Bar & Cafe

I am giving this 4 stars because of the steak night special. For under $20 you get salad, 2 red potatoes, 1 corn, and a huge ribeye. This was so much food and steak was done nicely. However, you need to know where you are going. If you're looking for a hole in the wall, this is it. The downfall is this place is SMOKEY! I feel like I smoked a pack of cigarettes just by sitting in there and I do not smoke. This is a dive bar my in-laws and some of their friends go so we wanted to join them. The service and food was great. Just know the atmosphere before you go. If you're looking for a steak house, this is not it.

It's a sleepy old person bar both times I've been in, and it's just what I'm looking for. They've got some shuffleboard tables and a couple of pool tables if that's your thing( I love shuffleboard so it's right up my alley. Coming back again soon for sure. Not as cheep as Einstein's down the street but that doesn't matter that much. ($3 as apposed to $4 for well drinks) 4.75/5 for that.

The 510 Bar is the place H meets up with his buddies every Friday night for their weekly "meeting". Sometimes, I go with him. This bar is a certified dive. Being in Katy, they let you smoke inside so be prepared to walk into a wall of smelly stale cigarette eau de toilette. They have the usual video games & the boys can be found around the back tables near the golf game. There's a couple pool tables & a shuffleboard table. The bartenders are awesome, quick to refill a drink & run it by your table. The drinks are cheap which keeps a regular crowd of bar flies happy. Dive, nice staff & cheap drinks. If you can get over the smell, you'll do fine here.

We came in around 8:45 pm. Waited for about 15 minutes for a table. I like the idea of each person has their own hot pot. The chicken and beef are very tasty. Veggies are very fresh. Server is very prompt. Business is busy. But the restroom is not very clean.

First time here I order a bud light draft. A couple drinks in noticed lipstick was on my glass *vomit*

Local dive bar that caters to the older crowd. Kind of dark, smokey and depressing. That being said it does have some redeeming quality's. The drinks are very inexpensive and the bartender is friendly. On Saturday evenings they have a steak special.We have only been once and it was on a Saturday night. All the regulars were raving about the steak special. I was a little skeptical at first, plus the smoke was killing me. I don't really enjoy dining when everything smells like an ashtray. But I was starving and the steaks really did look good. $12 will get you a salad, corn on the cob, baked potato and one of the best ribeyes you will ever eat. The steak was fork tender. I don't know what they use for a marinade but the flavor was fantastic. If only they had outside seating I would be here every Saturday night. Next time I may see if I can get one to go.

First time in this bar. Was great and had a very good time. Very warm and welcoming.Definitely my go to neighborhood pub now.

Great bar!! One of the few places where a local resident can feel at home and enjoy a good ole fashioned bar! Excellent service, great drinks, good live bands on Fri and Sat, play pool, and enjoy a smoke, cigar, or vape in a friendly atmosphere. Surprisingly not very smokey either! One of the few great neighborhood bars where you can sit, relax and enjoy.

Place stinks but not of cigarettes but of all fart dippers. Bartender at night is rood to non-locals, she uses the word F*** in every sentence.Very old Ladies Flirting with a guy 50 years younger than them. If you ARE NOT 70 YEARS OLD YET, or you still have teeth choose another bar. By the way glasses are so old they are stained I guess because of people putting their denture in Pepsodent. Ugly Ugly Ugly place

Cafe??? Must be a mistake. Where is the 5 and dime bar? Is this it. Walk in during pandemic to maskless people breathing smoke EVERYWHERE. It's a smoking bar. I get it. But when I walk from the BR to find a table without a mask. WTF is the point to shouting me down for my lack of mask? I took it off in the BR. NOBODY had a mask on. Who are you talking to? Idiot!! Not even an anti masker here. Just laughing at your stupidity. I hope you shut down. The fizzle dizzle is something Covid was put on this earth to kill. The buffoonery of your staff is just proof.
