Had not realized that the Red Hot Ranch burger was also brought to 35th St. Red Hots. Looks like this was introduced to all RHR locations since 2021 and menu and prices are similar to RHR on Ashland. No fish sandwich and no self-serve fountain, but this is a smaller place with still a counter for indoor seating for bad weather.$7.23 (or $8 incl tax) gets you their double cheese with a generous amount of fries. If the weather is good you got two picnic tables up front and two on the side with umbrella shades. They've got ketchup bottles ready to borrow if you're dining inside/outside.

Solid neighborhood hot dog shack. Ordered a polish and a hot dog with everything. Simple, fast and super yummy. After going to college nearby ages ago, I'm disappointed I didn't walk past Comiskey to try it out - but glad I was able to this time.

The food is good. I give them that but terrible customer service all the girls in here have attitudes. It takes forever to get a burger. Wait for 25 minutes for a double cheeseburger. All the employees that worked there except the men have no urgency to take care of customers, slow motion and very lazy and it's not like it's the cleanest place around with the small menu. It's OK.

This is the place to go before or after a Sox game. Located just west of the stadium, this typical looking hot dog stand is does dogs and fries right! I went with the double dog with all the fixings and this stands with all the great Chicago spots. The fries were perfectly cooked. The service was nothing to write home about and perhaps a little surly at times. Not taking any stars away as it was busy and well, expected as part of the Chi hot dog experience. Enjoy!

Everything about this place was good. The burgers with the special sauce ( like Big Mac ) and the fresh fries. The shrimp was seasoned well. The service was fast and pleasant. A few people came in and ordered the polish sausage so I will give that a try next time

35th Street Red Hots is located just west of Guaranteed Rate Field. You HAVE to try this place before or after a Sox game. The food here is amazing and well priced. Why pay $7 for a dog at the park when you can get a dog and fries here for $4.41. It is a CASH only establishment, so bring your Benjamin's, and leave your credit card in your wallet for the game. The hot dogs here are delicious and the fries are fresh cut, hot and delicious. You can't ask for a better dog and fries than what you'll receive here. The food is made to order so you will wait briefly for your meal, but it will be piping hot and fresh when you get it. Today I had a double dog and fries and it was the bomb. Super hot and tasty and on point with the toppings. While it may look like a hole in the wall, it won't leave a hole in your wallet. Stop by and see for yourself, you'll be glad you did.

My friends and I were in n town for a Sox game and we stopped here beforehand. We all got the hotdog and fries. Service was quick and the price was beyond reasonable. We got 3 hotdogs with fries and two Pepsi. The dogs were perfectly balanced and the fries were fresh. Will be back if we go watch a game again.

If you're looking for an iconic Chicago hot dog stand, this is the spot. They actually don't do your traditional Chicago Dog. They do a "Depression Dog" which is much easier to eat as it's not as messy. Their menu is limited which is good. They only serve good food and don't mess around with a larger menu for more variety. It's a hotdog, burger and fried shrimp spot. That's it. Their fries are amazing as well. I really recommend checking this place out before a Sox game. It's simple, has great food, and transports you back to a time before fancy dining, social media and the mass commercialization of everything. Also great that they have a Bell of Shame for those who ask for ketchup. They should have one of these in every hotdog stand in the city. Probably my favorite hot dog stand in Chicago.
