32nd Street Cafe

I recently enjoyed Sunday brunch at 32nd St Cafe. The portion sizes and prices are very good. I went early so it was just two of us at first and then we sat so long talking and chewing slowly that more people can in. The bar area opened and the music was turned on. Some nice oldies played at a reasonable sound level that allowed conversation to continue. What I didn't care for was the floors and tables needing a good clean. At 11:37AM I would expect I paper/tissues being on the floor and the tables being cleaned up as soon as the previous patron(s) have finished their meals.There is parking in the neighborhood on 32nd street, Ridge Avenue, a side street and even in the park if you are up for a longer leisurely walk.Otherwise I enjoyed my visit and would return.

I've visited a few times I will say this places gets a lot of phone and walk in orders assuming because the location is right across the street from a bus depot. The food is nothing short of amazing! So much flavor, and feels made from the heart every time! They also have a small bar and and seating area if you decided to dine in. They offer hookah which has be good each time!

So far so goodI had the Philly cheesesteak and the flavor was better than most I have had in Philly but not outstanding. The average foodie would probably enjoy its simplicity but nothing to rave about

Sitting diagonal to SEPTA's 33rd and dauphin loop is the beautiful 32nd Street Café. The newly opened restaurant that is warm, inviting and an incredible edition to the neighborhood. They have a wonderful assortment of breakfast and lunch choices that are sure to satisfy your hunger. 33rd Street loop has seen a lot of people pass through these doors over the years going back to when this was a trolley turnaround. The neighborhoods changed a bit and the architecture has changed but it seems that food is getting better and better. When a wonderful restaurant like this enters your neighborhood you owe it to yourself to give them a try. The people who prepare these meals are given skills by God to combining ingredients and spices and in such a way that demonstrates their inspiration from God. When you appreciate a finally crafted meal you understand how God talks to a talented chef in a wonderfully designed restaurant. Come on out and grab something to eat enjoy the view of the buses passing around look over at the trees of the park while knowing that you are having a wonderful dining experience. One day this pandemic will be over and we should reward the fine men and women that are opening establishments to serve the public during very difficult times. We are grateful that they are there for us. Easily acceptable from SEPTA's bus routes 7,32,39,49,54 & 61. Come on by and have something to eat. If you're bicycling in Fairmount Park there is ample places to secure your vehicle and wonderful meals with friends to meet. Enjoy!

The food is good and plenty. Well seasoned fish and grits were delicious, although I like my grits cooked to a creamy consistency the seasoning made up for the lack of creaminess. As I sat I watched the chef prepare orders to go, I regretted not getting the thick golden brown pancakes. I'll try them next time. Service was attentive and excellent. Everyone was friendly and the music had me dancing in my seat. I'll be back!!!
