320 Market Café Swarthmore

Review is just for a single visit to the café side, not the market side, but we very much liked it. The vegetarian options are a bit narrow so we opted for two different salads, both of which were excellent, but the burgers our friends got looked utterly delicious. The ambiance is casual: our server brought the food out after we ordered at the register and was super chill. Note: while you're invited to order via QR code, I tried it and it was so balky we ended up just going to the register.I am so sorry I didn't avail myself of a beer, but that's the other big plus here -- the casual bar. It just makes for a light, casual, moderately gourmetish but plain and simple foods option that's quite welcome in this part of the boro.

Food is good, but just be careful of the tipping option when you check out. I mistakenly entered a large tip for groceries (who tips then!?), but management kindly refunded the amount when I emailed them about it.

I've been here two weekends in a row now. And I don't think I'm going to stop. Simply put, last weekend I tried the pizza and it may be in contention for best in Delco. They've pulled off a fantastic combination of fresh ingredients cooked to perfection. Let the picture prove it to you. This week it was a simple chicken salad wrap that impressed me. The combo of the bacon and peppers just added the perfect flavor without overpowering it. They do simple foods very well. I'm getting hooked on this place now.

I come back here from time to time but never for a sandwich because of bad experiences before. I continue to like the pico however it is usually much saltier than I would prefer. The chips are ok but a bit greasy and over salted so I tend to get the ones from the chain store that also sells them in a paper bag - so salty maybe because they sell beer??? My other takeout item here is the sesame noodles which are a family favorite. Bring your own bag or pay for one.

I was not sure if this place was going to be chill or not as I live in center city and came here for the first time to meet my dad. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was and that they had a parking lot (heaven for us city folk). I liked the vibe and the sandwiches had really good bread - V important. Service was good although there was really not anyone at the "bar" to pour my dad a beer on tap. That could have been better. Wasn't hard to ask for help though. One thing that was great is the homemade tortilla chips. They're just like the auntehic chips I get in San Diego when I visit my friend. Very few places have good chips in this region. Not sure we will come back since I don't live in swathmore but I was happy with the experience. Staff was very kind !

Stopped by to grab some pizza, drinks, and chips for dinner. This market is very cute and the service is great. The pizza didn't take any longer than 15 minutes to make and it had lots of tomato sauce - just how I like it! I got my pizza to go but there's also a cute dining area where you can eat your lunch or dinner. This place is a bit on the pricey side but all of the food is fresh and great quality. My friends and I stop by every time we're in the area. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you're looking for a great selection of drinks or just grabbing a bite to eat.

Saw a manager shove a teenager that was working here. It's a weird thing to see. Kinda heartbreaking. Who wants to witness a minimum wage worker being subjected to physical assault? Reported it. No acknowledgement. Sent an email. No reply. Left a review and the company response seemed to imply they had no knowledge of this happening. Won't be going back. Disgusting and disturbing behavior. Media is a town of kind and loving people. This is not what they represent.

Overpriced and doesnt pay their employees fairly. Or give them guaranteed breaks. Maybe if they stopped being so stingy they would be a better company to shop from

I highly recommend eating here very nice, polite people. A lot of options even for picky eaters like me.

Great spot, casual, comfortable, good drinks and food. You can order drinks at the bar (beer/wine), grab your own cans from the extensive choices in the cooler, or grab soda/other non-alcoholic beverages from the attached market. Food can be ordered on your phone or at the food counter. The pizza is great, but so is everything else. The only thing that is NOT GOOD is the female bartender is always miserable. You would think she'd realize people tip better when they get good service from happy people.
