Nomnom nom. Our go to place for bagels, Jewish holidays, and local lunch. Quality ingredients, delicious food. We love Josh's brisket for the holidays especially! My daughter loves the donuts! We also appreciate how committed Z's is to the local neighborhood.

I had my hopes up for Zylberschtein's. Unfortunately, they were dashed, and I was left wanting more. My wife and I ordered:The ReubenThe Lox BagelI'm only going to speak on behalf of the Reuben that I had. They ran out of fries (at 12 PM, what?), so I ordered a Mac salad as my side. The Mac salad was alright - a little flavorless, but it served as a nice refreshing side dish. The sandwich though - I felt parts of the sandwich were really dry, and the flavor profile was inconsistent. It was like a surprise - some parts of the sandwich were solid, with the crunch of the sauerkraut or the cut of cheese complimenting the meat, and other bites were just dry. Overall, not the worst sandwich, but far from the best. I think the real heartache here is the price. We paid $45 for a sandwich and a bagel, and that's, in my humble opinion, just not right. Especially given the quality of the sandwiches too. I know inflation here is insane, but the price here is overwhelming. We've knocked this off our bucketlist, but unfortunately, it will remain off our list of go-to sandwich places.

Bought a Club & a 4oz Reuben sandwich to go for $44.04. (I don't tip for take-out window orders ever) The Club was good, the Reuben not quite right - the flavor blend was lacking, bread - so-so - quality meat ! short on kraut. - not impressed - The sandwiches come with a pickle slice and a side - We choose Fries & Potato salad -/ the fries are 5 star ! - insanely good ! - I would go back for them./ the salad was very tart = too much so.

-1 star for the price-1 star for the food It's my fault for living in NYC for 16 years. My expectations are high when you say it's a Jewish deli or a bagel shop. My concerns: - The cost: 18.75 for a bagel with lox has got to be a joke. It was a small and otherwise *fine* sandwich. Nothing special. Also $5.95 for a simple bagel with plain cream cheese. All in $27 for two small bagels. - The size of the bagels. Less than 3" in diameter. Tiny bagels compared to what I know to be a normal bagel. - No indoor seating for the price. Gotta weather the line outside, and then only one heat lamp was on in the curb side shelter. We had to ask for a table to be wiped down because they were all filthy and ignored by the staff. - Execution - I asked for toasted and it barely saw any heat, let alone had a toasted crunch. - Everything Bagel has caraway seeds, an unfortunate recipe choice. The good - bagels came out fast (because they were barely toasted...) and the staff were friendly. Overall, I can't recommend. I'll be bringing my bagels from NYC and freezing them like I always have.

Okay, yes, they are very delicious, but I almost choked when our two bagels with cream cheese and a donut came to $20 pre-tip. And then I got angry when we were in the car and my jalapeno bagel looked so small and was too stuffed with cream cheese to eat on the road and I wasn't sent away with any napkins. But then I forgot all my woes when I finally was able to sink my teeth into that delicious mess because goddamn it was so perfect I cried tears of gratitude. Would I do it all over again? Yes, yes I would.

We are so lucky to have this deli in the neighborhood! Best bagels, best rye bread, and best people in town - the owner and all of the staff go of their way to make you feel welcome. If something in your order doesn't met your personal standards they WILL make it right. We love enjoying a slushie and sweet treat while we wait on the patio for our to-go order - perfect Friday afternoon start to the weekend.

the 2stars r for the service only. Bialys should be crusty outside n airy inside. They r not here, also the onions should be chopped fine, not long strands. They are some kind of roll but not a bialy! The donuts we bought were strawberry, blueberry lemon curd, n Nutella.Another Disappointment.Greasy n doughy. Everything looks good but not nearly as good as it should be..The rye bread was passable. And again the counter help was super.
