Great atmosphere and happy hour! Would definitely recommend for a different style of food and great cocktails!

This place is a gem. And the photos of the actual food look exactly like the photos on the menu. Please note that the Korean spicy chicken is a huge portion... It's basically a whole small chicken.The flavors of the food are amazing, and chef Tyson, who is one of the managers, is lovely and polite and has stopped by to talk to my table for two of the last three times I visited the restaurant. The happy hour menu is extensive with very good prices. Happy hour goes from 5 to 7, and I have eaten well with two other people for a total of $60 (we did not buy alcohol).Standouts on the menu are the following:The buttered cornThe skewersJjamppong potSalmon tiraditoKimchi fried rice ... though I can honestly say that at this point, I have tried many of the things on the menu, and I have really liked everything.As you can see from the photo, it is gorgeously decorated with an amazing vibe. You could eat with friends, and this could be a great date spot. What I really like is that there is also plenty of parking that is very close to the actual restaurant. It's also great that it's located just north and east of downtown Tempe. Therefore, it's not too close to Mill Avenue where it's harder to find parking, and it's also close to old town Scottsdale.I will definitely return to Zu & Pocha, and I will definitely recommend it to friends.

Thai restaurant is a good place to try! In a good and safe location. I had the kimchi fried rice which def had a kick to it! Gyoza was delicious as it should be! The sushi was good, has the Alaskan roll. Our waitress didn't know a whole lot about the wine list but I'm pretty sure she was newMy boyfriend had ordered the oysters and said they were a 6.5 out of 10. He ordered the Korean army pot after his oysters and almost forgot he ordered it because of how long it took to get out to our table. Overall this place is a 7 out of 10

Finally got to try Zu & Pocha! It's such a cute place. However, came here on a Friday evening, it was pretty hot inside.Ordered this and that from Happy Hour menu, food was good- nothing exceptional, but I was surprised that they are pricey for the portion. And people were friendly, yet it took them a while to come check on us.But I think it's a cute spot for a drink or two!

We wanted to visit Zu & Pocha now before the ASU students get back and tables are hard to come by, so we made a reservation on Open Table. It turned out we didn't need them tonight, but better safe than sorry. I love the decor of this place, with ring lights and plants peeking through the wood hanging from the ceiling. The place settings are really pretty with gold spoons and chopsticks. Our server was one of the best things of the evening--she was charming and helpful and cute as a bug's ear. She was also our bartender. The menu is not huge but has great choices. We ordered the Zu Bramble and Seoul Highball for cocktails. Both were blackberry based and both were delicious. They make their own syrups, so they aren't overly sweet. We had the Bulgogi Tteokbokki, which had a fantastic broth, clear noodles, rice cake, and veggies. Different from other bulgogi we've had, but it was fantastic. We also had spicy tuna and spicy yellowtail sushi rolls and shrimp tempura. What a great meal!

Had dinner with a girlfriend, reservation optional at this place. Was lucky enough to order from the happy hour menu which had $2 oysters. Started thinking we only wanted six and ended up going for a full dozen. Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Tran was genuinely friendly and attentive. Food was fresh, delicious and moderately priced.

This is my new favorite find in Tempe! The moment you walk in you are greeted with such an upscale and gorgeous ambiance. Everytime I go to Zu & Pocha, I have the absolute best service from their staff. Now let's talk food-I have loved every single dish I've ordered there. My fan favorites are the Squid Ink Pasta and the Las Vegas Sushi roll. Their cocktails are top tier as well, shout out to their Old Fashion and Zu & Bramble drinks. This is a must try place and the bonus is that their happy hour prices are out of this world for their sushi rolls and oysters.

Fun atmosphere with Korean x Japanese food! The drinks were tasty, my favorite is Just Dill With It. The food is great for sharing so everyone gets to try a bit of everything! The service is always great here, we especially love their HH that's everyday!

What a great spot for happy hour! Happy hour is every day before 6 pm. Stopped by with a friend on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy at all.The interior is very cute and well designed, with greenery hanging from the ceiling. We ordered a couple of drinks each and they were excellent, with fruity yet herbal flavors. The sushi was decent, they had a 2 for $20 deal on rolls which was great value. We preferred the red dragon roll over the mango roll but they were still overall pretty good. The bulgogi japchae was excellent and I really enjoyed the pork belly & kimchi stir fry --the kimchi was perfect!Service was great and our booth was very comfortable. Parking in the lot is a bit tight but overall a great evening!
