This is a cute place to chill in while on a layover. While headed to Houston earlier this week I was on a layover in Phoenix and of course I was hungry. I was torn between this spot and Panera but settled in Zinc because of the menu choices and ambiance. This place gives a more upscale option instead of regular airport food. They have bar and booth seating options to meet the needs of individuals and groups. I ordered my signature drink aka a Lemon Drop which was made perfect. I wanted the pork belly sandwich but they were out of it so I went for the pesto chicken sandwich with fries. It was so tasty. I'm not a pesto girl but with the addition of the house made chipotle aioli my sandwich was good to go. My host was Shane who was the one who made my drink and recommended the pesto chicken sandwich and he did not disappoint. He was very nice, upbeat, and gave quality customer service. I'll definitely be back for that pork belly sandwich. Thanks for a good visit!

My favorite restaurant to go to so far in the Phoenix airport while connecting flights. The decor is nice, kind of gives a high end saloon feel with a center bar with higher-tiled ceiling. The service is either decent to exceptional, haven't had a bad experience here yet.I think food here is nice for airport food. I've had the steak frite entree and salads before and was impressed. The pork belly I tried today is actually better than than the pork belly baguette , I'm really happy with this dish. Their zinc burgers are solid as well.

Excellent service @ Zinc on a 6 hour layover. They let us sit and wait for the lunch menu almost an hour before service. Staff was very attentive and courteous.

Needed a place to eat dinner on a Wednesday night before a flight. Located in the airport terminal, the Zinc Brasserie was a good choice. As generic as most airport restaurants are, they did a nice job with this one.Our server was really great, and made the experience really nice The food was very tasty. I wish the menu had a little more to choose from, but it did the trick before our flight.

Do not eat at this airport location expecting the same quality as you would have dining at Zinc Bistro in Kierland Commons. I mistakenly associated the two restaurants and that was a grave error in judgement on my part. At this location, the brasserie atmosphere is cute and it's pretty much the only choice in Terminal 4 if you are over by C11, but it might be worth walking over to Le Madeline in B gates if you want something palatable. I mean really, I haven't had a breakfast this terrible since that time in Dublin Airport when I chipped my tooth on stale toast. Back to the present, I asked the friendly waitress for coffee and scrambled egg whites with the Classic Breakfast. She sort of shrugged and said the eggs come "pre-made." I should have listened to my alarm bells going off and passed but nope, the grumbling of my tummy got the better of me, so I ordered the classic breakfast anyway. Big mistake. First of all, the food was brought out cold on a hot plate. The consistency of the powdered eggs was gritty with a slight gym sock scented aftertaste topped with chives. I quickly got up and went over to the bar to swipe a bottle of Tabasco, doused the eggs throughly and washed down the resulting shit-show with a cup of mediocre coffee served to me in a paper cup. The bacon looked ok so I ate that, disappointed that it too, was cold. I gulped some more coffee and went onto what they think passed as a croissant. The photo makes it look better than it was. In reality, it was like purchasing a croissant at a gas station, stomping on it a couple of times, then putting it under a heat lamp to toast it before haphazardly flinging it onto a plate next to cold bacon and powdered feet-flavored eggs. That croissant was the pièce de resistance ironically served on a nice stoneware Zinc Bistro plate. I'm giving them 2 stars because of the kind waitress who brought me more coffee while I attempted to digest my $23 "breakfast" and because the bistro vibe was a welcome reprieve from the airport chaos. Final thoughts...if you can't manage to make real eggs, just don't offer hot food. This place is just fine as a bar.

Burger was mediocre at best considering the price, fries were soggy and drinks were way overpriced. On top of it staff was friendly despite it not being busy.

Airport food, overpriced and doesn't taste very good. Portion size is ok. Got takeout before my flight and just eating for calories, not for flavor.

Good waitress. Unhelpful hostess. Totally flavorless chicken sandwich, even under salted for waaaay too much. Mac and cheese for kiddos was liked. Eat somewhere else.
