This is a nice casual place for lunch. The flooring and seating are decent. It doesn't feel cramped inside. Good natural lighting, too.The font they use is interesting; I keep wanting to call it Haz Haz.In any case, we ordered a chicken doner pita sandwich, Uzbek dumplings, and lahmacun (which was buy one get one free!).The chicken sandwich was generously stuffed with chicken. The bread was excellent; it looks like they make the bread fresh in-house. The sandwich wasn't bursting with flavor, but was decent. The dumplings were small in size and generous in portion, but the flavor was lacking a bit. I think the fat may have been lower than manti we've had elsewhere. The lahmacun was very good. They also served some peppers and roasted eggplant on the side, and gave us complimentary tea after the meal.Service was excellent and pricing was reasonable.

I honestly do not ever recall finding it so tedious to order three things up at a counter. I repeatedly attempted to explain to the person running the register that I wanted the following: beef doner pita sandwich meal, Keysari style manti and kibbeh. The person then kept trying to change my order, insisting that I wanted a chicken doner wrap and something else I can't quite remember. Although this may have been a language barrier issue (considering that someone else was helping them input my order into the register) I was still feeling rather deceptive and shady vibes during that moment. I also remember one of the people pointing to someone else's receipt, saying I ordered a kofte kebab dinner which I did not. Eventually they did ring my order up correctly. But I suppose I don't know what their intentions were for sure though.First off, I absolutely adored the portion of European kebab shop style 'chips' (or fries) accompanying my sandwich, which are so so hard to find out here!! They seriously NAILED the bright yellow coloration and perfect crispy, crunchy sensation I've been yearning for since returning from the UK. No flimsiness present in these whatsoever, nor any need to add salt. A proper 'chip' will sell itself and did so exceptionally well here!! Although I really wish I could say the same for the rest of the food I ordered. My high hopes for the food overall were immediately crushed upon biting into which tasted like yesterday's pita used for my beef doner sandwich (which, for the record, had hoped to receive after my kibbeh and manti). Instead of being pillowy on the inside and crisp golden brown on the outside, the bread was mostly white (with very scarce brown spots) and stiff as motorcycle boot leather inside and out. I was very disappointed that I could not finish the sandwich whole because of this. I did enjoy the doner meat, which was nicely tender but could have been juicier. **On a side note, I found the turnip juice (which I chose for my drink) way too strong for my liking, but perhaps I am just too accustomed to sweet and fruity drinks and need to immerse my palette with more 'savory' drinks, so I can better appreciate this juice.**Then along came the Keysari manti with the yogurt on the side. I thought this was alright, wasn't blown away by any means, considering I've had far better elsewhere. I like my manti a bit larger than these, though I understand these dumplings may vary in size from region to region. I would have also preferred if the yogurt was already mixed in with everything else. The shallow pool of oil I found at the bottom of the bowl was somewhat off-putting but didn't bother me too great of a deal. The kibbeh (which came out last and had hoped to come first instead) were the absolute WORST I've ever had!! The ground beef inside was dry and clumpy; exterior was hard and chewy (most certainly not in a good way) and evidently fried in old oil. It truly is a shame, having read all these glowing reviews with my experience here leaving so much to be desired. So overall, 1 star for the manti & doner meat combined, and another for the amazing 'chips'. I will not factor the service into my rating, given my mixed feelings regarding it. But certainly not worth the $40 and will likely not return.

Their mercimek soup caught my attention because it's cold outside. Despite its simple appearance, it has a lovely hint of golden color. It smells pleasant, light, and earthy. It is slightly grainy with a settled, creamy texture. To give the soup a lovely citrus taste, I added lemon juice. My main course, I had their beef doner. There were various side dishes included to accompany with my meal. The beef was thinly sliced. It had a lovely charred crust with a caramelized glaze while it was still moist because it was cooked in a rotation rotisserie equipment. My stomach is satisfied and the portion was reasonably generous.

The food was very good. Fries were fresh and crispy without being too greasy. Space was open and clean. The Kofta sandwich was really good and so was the Lahmacun - turkish pizza. Would definitely return for lunch!
