ZEN Ramen & Sushi Burrito

When we go to Zen, it's for the kid. He loves the firecracker shrimp and Miso Ramen. My wife gets the Spicy Ramen and I get the Shoyu Ramen. The food is always great, the customer service excellent, and we have never had a bad experience.The unique thing about this restaurant in Lakewood, South of Tacoma, is the Naruto theme, it makes it just a touch more fun for the 12yo. The bathrooms are even themed, quite the experience.

My husband and I frequent this restaurant! We moved to Tacoma about two months ago and we come here once a week. We've tried the tonkotsu Zen, tonkotsu kimchi, and the tonkotsu chashu spicy. You cannot go wrong with any of these options, as they are all delicious. We also love to order the pork belly bun or chicken bun as an appetizer to share. The ramen bowls are a lot of food and, in my opinion, are a great value. The servers are always extremely pleasant and seem happy to be there. I love the vibe inside of the restaurant too! They're all Naruto themed and it's a welcoming environment overall. We will absolutely continue to come back!

I have been wanting to try this place out solely for the fact that the art in the restaurant is Naruto themed. ZEN Ramen & Sushi Burrito has three locations, I believe. I never had a sushi burrito, so I went ahead and ordered that. My sister ordered a ramen bowl. We ended up just sharing the two items, so we could both try it out. Overall, the food was good. I wish there was more options for salmon and less cream cheese included in the options that were offered. This location has parking in the plaza it is located within, so don't worry about struggling to look for parking. You pay for your food before you receive it.

It's been nearly a year since the last visit to Zen and it continues to be a great place if you're looking for Asian fusion options in a fun and charismatic atmosphere. This location is smaller and still service is always friendly and patient. I love the decor throughout and I especially appreciate the personality they display in the bathroom decor. The food is always wonderful :)

Zen is a charming Parkland restaurant that serves ramen and sushi burritos; I haven't had ramen in about six months, but everyone says it's delicious. There was a bite-or-wait option after placing an order, and there weren't many seats available. I got the Veggie Love Ramen with edamame and a side of deep-fried tofu. I got a bit carried away and ended up ordering more tofu, even though it already had ample portions. The edamame was flavorful and perfectly seasoned. Despite the wonderful breading, the tofu tasted somewhat boring. Because of how delicious it was, I enjoyed how the tofu and ramen went together. The prices were very reasonable and inexpensive. Next time, I'm going you try the Vegetarian Tofu Poke.

Stopped here for lunch today with my friend and we really enjoyed it!The staff was very pleasant and this was a really cool themed restaurant.I loved the variety of fish in their sushi burrito, but it definitely needed the sauce to go with it.The ramen was also almost authentic.I think they still need to improve upon their recipes a little bit, but since they seem to be putting a lot of work into the restaurant I want to support them and give them 5 stars!I would definitely consider coming back here more often!

Really cute place with Naruto theme. The place is super clean (and the bathrooms!) and just a comfy place to eat your yummy food. The ramen we ordered were really good-- on a par with the fancy ramen places in Seattle. Excellent customer service! They were friendly and engaging! I felt the love and care of the team that runs this place!

Ramen...we love ramen! Their soup base is a little thicker than we'd like, some can be saltier than others. Nonetheless, it's tasty and serving is more than enough for me. ;)

I am long time goer here. This place is near my work, so that makes it convenient to come here. I like their sushi burritos and some other foods. I make sure I come here on Wednesdays cuz they have 99 cents sake (medium size)Service is amazing, so is the girls that work there. Guys in the back sometimes give me extra food to show appreciation for the regular costumer(me!) :)This place is embracing hentai cartoon stuff like paint on walls and on TV, personally it doesn't float my boat, but what ever. I am mainly here for the food and people that work here. It feels like am their friend.

When it opened in Parkland years ago, it was pretty good. But now with so many more option for ramen in area, this place no longer live up to the standard. Egg - they only give you HALF of the egg. What kind of ramen shop only gives half egg? Its also not soft boiled. Has no flavor whatsoever.Chasu - it does not melt in your mouth. Flavor is on bland side. Super thin sliced.Broth - its so weak that it tastes like they just use powder packet. Tonkotsu cup ramen from Paldo World has better taste than this. They were also out of ren-ge (ramen spoon). How can a ramen shop run out of ramen spoon!! Thats unheard of! Very disappointing.
