Zeitoon Grill House is a treasure trove for those in search of authentic, flavorful Middle Eastern cuisine, with its standout dish undoubtedly being the lamb shank. This lamb shank is a masterpiece, slow-cooked to fall-off-the-bone perfection, its rich flavors enhanced by a blend of spices that are both bold and perfectly balanced. Each bite is succulent and deeply satisfying, making it a must-try for both lamb lovers and newcomers alike.Fantastic ambiance as well! The staff at Zeitoon are knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their menu, adding to the overall enjoyment with their friendly service and recommendations.Besides the lamb shank, the menu features a variety of traditional dishes, each prepared with the same attention to detail and quality. From perfectly grilled kebabs to flavorful stews, Zeitoon Grill House offers a culinary journey that is both delightful and memorable. This place is more than just a meal; it's a celebration of rich flavors and culinary craftsmanship.

Diving into the heart of Kirkland, Zeitoon Grill House emerges as a rare find in the often overlooked world of Persian cuisine. Unlike the "Mediterranean" blanket many Middle Eastern eateries hide under, Zeitoon is unabashedly Persian, serving up a symphony of flavors that speak volumes of its rich cultural backdrop. The magic of Persian cuisine lies in its simplicity and depth, best represented by their rices and skewered meats. Forget the generic kebabs; this is where saffron and pistachios elevate the game, adding layers of flavor and texture that are uniquely Iranian. Zeitoon doesn't dress up for anyone; it's authentic, unpretentious, and with a vibe that's more about the food than the frills. The approval comes from the toughest critic--my Persian girlfriend, who vouches for its freshness and authenticity. The place could use a facelift and a slight staff training, sure, but when the meal ends with a cardamom tea and a view of Lake Washington, you know you've stumbled upon a spot that's more about substance than style. Zeitoon Grill House is a culinary nod to Iran, a place where food transcends borders and brings a slice of Persian pride to the Pacific Northwest. We wish Greater Seattle had a spot like it.

Based on all the reviews, I came in here expecting OK food with bad service, and got neither. The food was delicious and the service exceptional!Kebabs were very well seasoned (I wished they were a touch more juicy though). Fasenjan was so flavorful. The chicken in it tasted like it was just boiled and then microwaved to within an inch of life, but the flavor of the stew itself made up for it. It's was firing on all cylinders, sweet, savory, sour. And the salad that came with the meal was large. This was enough for two people. Now, the service was outstanding. Got seated right away. Took my order as soon as I was ready. I looked into the main area of the restaurant, trying to take in the decor, and had two people run up to me instantly asking if I needed anything. They checked in on us multiple times through the meal. Water was refilled instantly. I honestly have no idea what the other reviews here mean by bad service. Perhaps they hired new staff or something, but was great. Definitely recommend. It was so good, I brought a group of 8 people here the next week. And we had no problem getting seated, even on a holiday weekend. And the service was just as good.

Fantastic Persian fare. Went in on a Sunday evening so there was no crowd at all.The appetizers of baba ghanoush, sliced eggplant, salad were quite flavorful. The baba ghanoush was very tasty and smoky...amazing! The chicken kabobs came with saffron rice and grilled tomato. Generous portion, tender, mildly spiced chicken were a joy to eat. They do not serve any alcoholic drinks, so be prepared to enjoy the meal with3any adult beverages!

I need to come back more times to experience the full menu. My meal was so good. The steak kabob was so tender and the rice was incredibly good. I had read yelp reviews about the Pistachio ice cream and was not disappointed. It is home made and an excellent finish to a terrific meal. I will be back!!

I went to this restaurant as two of my friends recommended it. We went as a family, we put in our orders. Two of the three meals were great, but one tasted spoiled. We put in a new different order, and returned the dish that tasted spoiled. We told them that we did not want to pay for the dish that tasted spoiled. We wanted to only pay for the three dishes. Unfortunately there was no manager on-site and they told us that they could not take the meal off. The restaurant seemed to not even have a supervisor. It was my first time going and I plan not to return.

This is a MUST eat from place. I have tried several other Lebanese restaurants in the area none of them come even close to this place. I have ordered from here several times and it's amazing every time. Chicken kabobs are my favorite - tender chicken and light and fluffy rice/ not heavy and overly salty like some of the other places. It's 5 stars all the way!

The Persian food here is exceptional. The kebabs were cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, truly a delight for the taste buds. However, my only drawback is the restaurant's operating hours, especially on Saturdays. I feel they close too soon, which can be inconvenient for diners looking for a late meal

amazing food I orders the shank and my brother ordered the koofta it was extremely tender and tasted amazing. I recommend the shank more because it basically melts in your mouth. But if you want the best bang for your buck take the koofta it tastes amazing and is very chewy like it is supposed to
