Ordered takeout for pickup. Had Cajun salmon pasta and jerk chicken plate. For the Cajun salmon pasta, the portion was huge, and an abundance of salmon. The flavor was really great too. This dish alone was 5/5 for meFor the jerk chicken plate, unfortunately, I'm disappointed with only 3 small chicken pieces and the rest was rice. The flavor of the chicken was great though, heavily seasoned. This dish was only 4/5 and overall I give 4.5 but since I can't do half scores, it gets a total of 4/5 since the jerk chicken plate could've been better and I give out 5 starts sparingly

Service horrible waitress couldn't remember anything. Gave us Plastic forks to eat with. The restaurant looked thrown together. Food wasn't great and we came 1.5hour to try the food. What we got wasn't a reflection of their social media presence.

Stopped in for takeout and decided to dine in. No real ambiance but the set was given get in and out because it was cold. I went with the jerk chicken and basil rice. The food wasn't temperature hot but the flavor was good. We also ordered the jerk salmon. Same thing not hot hot but good flavor.

We tried the food truck at the Boston Seaport holiday market. The Jerk Salmon Hush Huppies was my favorite. It was warm and crunchy on the outside, soft and savory on the inside, and paired very well with the provided sauce. It kind of reminded me of potato balls. The Jerk Jackfruit Empanada was okay. It was kind of bland and I couldn't really taste the jackfruit. We ended up dipping it with the Hush Huppies sauce for flavor. The plantain wasn't ripe enough and were also kind of plain.

This review was hard. My most recent visit was a 2.5 but I have had catering from ZAZ, and it was a solid 4. The menu items are creative. The food is good overall. However, some of the chicken on my last visit was burnt. I do not mean charred to enhance flavor. I mean it was burnt and bitter. I learned that Chef O was not there. I didn't bother asking for anyone else. My order was not nearly as good as the catering. The service was friendly but slow. No one was at the front to take my order. I just had to wait a bit. I am not sure if the catering chefs are different. I'm not sure it will be one of my regular spots but I have heard rave reviews for their brunch and catering.

Checked out the Xmas food truck parked at the seaport market. The service was a little slow, there were only 4 people in front of me but I waited 10 mins to order, which seemed a little odd. When you look at the menu, there are no prices, when I ordered my small jerk chicken with rice and beans it was $16. At this point I was committed and hungry so I went ahead with the order. The portion size was fine but I would've appreciated an idea of a price point. A person after me asked how much the empanadas were ($14) and they promptly declined and walked away at that price. Onto the food, they serve it with a sweet chili sauce in the side but I typically like jerk chicken in it's true form and glory before diluting it was sauce. By itself it was fine but the sauce really helped. If I didn't have the sauce, I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much. There were bits of bones when they chop up the chicken which made it unpleasant after a while. Coming from a Chinese background I'm used to eating chicken with bones and having to deal with bone bits, but the way it was chopped was a little sloppy and more than just a couple bits. 4 of my first 5 bites, I thought I was eating a bean but instead chomped on a chicken bone fragment.

Situated on a busy street in Hyde Park. Take out only. No on street parking. Arrived 45 mins before closing to an empty front counter. No menus were visible anywhere. Lack of food board or prices which would have occupied my time at least until someone realized I was there. Orders have to be made via the 1 QRC sitting on a very dark and cluttered shelf along the side wall that I happened to stumble upon. It's very dark and uninviting inside. After waiting 3 mins and listening to the sounds of dishes being washed, I called the establishment (phone was on counter) and no one came to the front to answer the phone. I called again. Still no answer. After another 3 mins without any acknowledgment of me entering, I left. This curious 1st timer won't return.

This place is definately worth a try. Delish fusion of Carribean cuisine. A must try if you like your food seasoned!

Yum yum yum. Delicious food. Probably the best you'll find in Hyde Park. Not much room for dining - mostly takeout, I think. Who cares, it's so good!

Such disappointing service but the food was okay.I placed an order for 4 meals, 3 of which I delivered to family members after taking mine out of the bag. My nephew called to tell me there were no fries with his jerk beef burger. On the phone, I even asked if the burger came with fries, because it was my first tome ordering it and my nephew wanted fries. The person, who seem disinterested in talking to me, answered yes.I called back and the person on the phone said I ordered a Ceasar salad with the burger, I didn't. After a bit of a back of forth, he said I can come pick up the fries. My nephew went all the way back to Zaz to pick up his fries for an order they messed up. They refused to give him the fries and said he needed to bring back the Ceasar salad first. He didn't even know there was a salad in the bag. He went to get the salad, they then gave him soggy fries to top the poor customer service. Such a disspointint way to treat customers. My mom lives in Hyde Park and Zaz was my to go spot when I visited. This experience will have me skip it for the foreseeable future. Customer service has diminished so much over the years.
