Food is always great unfortunately the 4th time coming my grilled snapper wasn't flavorful because they ran out of fish and the one I ordered wasn't marinated enough, and I normally order Brussels sprouts which are always a 10/10 but they ran out so I just ate my fish with rice. Service: Always excellent can't complain all the women and men here are graceful Ambiance: Casual definitely a date night spot or a girls night out I bring my kids sometimes for the main dinning area because they enjoy the ambiance and food here a lot especially late nights the hookah area is separate so it doesn't bother us or make me feel as though kids aren't allowed im so happy they allow kids here to eat real food. My neighborhood gem!

Excellent valet & customer service for starters!We ordered the Oxtail empanadas..surprisingly they were just okay.. it lacked flavor..the cajun seafood pasta made up for it! Full of flavor..the chef forgot to add in the mussels that was apart of the dish..the waitress gave them to me on the side. Salmon dish with mac & cheese and plantains were flavorful as well ( with a hint of spice).The overall ambience and music was a vibe.. I'll definitely be back to try out a few other apps & dishes from the menu.

I went on a Saturday night with two other couples. The ambiance is nice and the music was cool. We waited an extremely long time for our drinks... like 20 mins just for a margarita and a bottle of water. The shrimp and chicken appetizers were good. Two people at our table got the chicken and seafood pasta and said it wasn't that good and barely touched it. The snapper was really good but again the wait for the food killed the experience. Another person at our table ordered the salmon and they didn't get their food until we were all done eating and putting leftovers in boxes and they said it wasn't even worth the wait. The salmon was super small. The waitress tried to make up for it with free cheesecake which was cool but i do feel like she could've done a better job at keeping us updated with everything. We will not be returning.

I had a great experience here mainly because the food - I arrived with low expectations thinking this was going to be one of those places that focuses more on aesthetics and vibes than the quality of the food. Every single item were delicious and up to par on what I expect the food to be. I will definitely be back

I had high hopes for this place after seeing it on IG but it did not live up to expectations. When first arriving immediately in front of the restaurant, they had cones blocking the restaurant front parking. It seemed like that parking was paid parking and not sure why I would be paying for parking 6 o'clock on a Thursday, but I parked in one of the open spots. Upon entering they asked if there was had a reservation or just walk in. I didn't know they took reservations because on their Instagram page they have no website or hours of operation so I knew going up here was a roll of the dice if they were open. Quickly seated in the mostly empty space at the time. Presented with a menu and I'd really come up for the oxtail empanadas but apparently that was only on Sunday for brunch. This would've been nice to know on any website or on your page and if it's there, please forgive, but I was disappointed. I ordered a margarita, beef suya and for my main course lamb chops with a side of Mac and jollof. The suya was ok, they did have the pepper sauce to go with the onions so I can respect that. The lamb chops were decently cooked and decently flavored the pepper sauce definitely helped. The jollof good & for my jollof lovers it was highly likely Nigerian. The mac & cheese was good until I tried to put it in a to go box and a bunch of grease poured out. The margarita had so much ice in that I finished it in like three sips. The waitress asked me if I wanted to which I said no. The waitresses that were staffed this evening were not attentive to our table or the table closer to the window. I saw them having to waive her over a couple of times to get additional food or to get their check. Our waitress was no better I put my napkin on the table as an indicator and we sat there for about another 15 to 20 minutes before she came over.Upon receiving the check they do have a service charge, the waitress mentioned the tip if you wanna leave one to which I asked, what is the service charge and she said oh that's 12% that we get. If I didn't see that she would've easily said, this is the tip. I am not against tipping, but I appreciate the honesty which wasn't given here. Additionally, the tip amount was over the whole bill and not the additional tip amount. Would I come back here yes but only for the oxtail empanadas, which I will take to go I really hope that they read these reviews even though this is the second one and take notice. Lastly, it is advertised to have Shisha, and that was never offered. Music was for sure good though!

Lovely time last night with friends. The place was busy with hookah, good ambience and very friendly and helpful people. The Valet was so nice and was a perfect gentleman. I felt like I was in a lounge in Africa. The Zanzi drink was different with Henny, sorrel and champagne. The food was wonderful. Loved the lamb chops. Nice spice with mildly sweet sauce. Not overbearing just like a glaze. Black mushroom rice was good no mushrooms but a few beans. Cooked right because all of the grains were fully cooked. Had never had the spice of taste before. Matched well with lamb chops. Mac n cheese was wonderful. The way I make it with good cheese and eggs. Really southern. Loved it wish I could return but my time in this area has ended. A treat for me

The whole snapper was larger than expected. You definitely get your money's worth. Everything we had was well seasoned. The drinks were also great. Music added to the lively vibe. However, the service was very slow. I believe grace should be given since they are just opening, but hopefully they get their service up to par. If they do, they'll be my new favorite dinner experience.

Ambiance is amazing as well as food! The service wasn't bad either. They have a hostess that was helpful and my server was very considerate of my wants and needs. I'll be back!
