Good clean place off of the main Chinatown street. The lady was very nice and felt like this is what a Chinese meal at home might be like. She was very helpful. The place was clean and the prices were very reasonable. We ordered the pan fried beef noodles and combination fried rice. Two dishes between 3 kids and 2 adults and it was enough food for the family. The food came out fast, was fresh and very tasty. Like a comfort meal that you would want if you were looking for a no frills, good tasting, one style Chinese food.It was exactly what the doctor ordered and we ate it up. Great experience and will be coming again when we are in Chicago. Definitely worth the drive from the burbs and top notch service. For a little over 25 bucks, the cheapest meal we had while visiting Chicago.

Pretty good noodle spot. Stopped by the fair and happen to see this noodle spot. There was a lot of people but got seated pretty quickly. The service was pretty fast and they were really attentive too when I asked for water, extra sauce and take out. The wide egg noodles are a must get and add some vinegar for some extra flavoring. The restaurant itself can get a bit loud and it looks pretty old but it is a pretty average local chinese restaurant.

Finally went here and can say it is one of my favorite spots in Chicago for just yummy comfort food now! Prices are great, portions are big, and food is delicious - what more can you ask for? Okay, I would ask that they stay open a bit later. They say they close at 9 but they close early like at 8:30 depending on the day and how many customers they have. So we were pretty rushed even showing up at 7:50.I'd still come back to try some of the other soups but it's a little hard when we work late.

We had carryout for walnut shrimps and salt and pepper pork chops. The walnut is stale and the shrimp battered is chewy! The salt and pepper pork chops seems to be okay but fried probably too long. It was kind of dark in color. The bill came to $31.17. For the price and the quality, I would prefer to go somewhere else.

not to start this review off with a diss to another place, but I literally went to minyoli and felt a need to come here to get my actual beef noodle soup fill. this place is the OG and will always hold a special place in my heart. I've brought so many people here and it's such a good price/value for what you get. slightly off the beaten path in Chinatown, I almost want it to stay hidden so I can always walk in without a wait.

Still my favorite place. I order their Japanese Salt & Pepper Tofu for delivery at least once a month! I love the seasoning of their tofu so much that I attempted to recreate it at home one time, and let's just say...I'll just leave it to the real cooks haha. Soups come in generous portions, and I also loveeeee their roast pork over rice! Great "over rice" specials to get the most bang for your buck, and the food quality has always been consistent since my first review years ago!

Love how customizable all the noodles here are, you can add any kind of noodle with any kinds of toppings/meat/broth and they've got a large variety! Can't go wrong with any of the noodles but the beef noodle soup is definitely a favorite! I'd also opt in to add wontons to any of the noodles are they're super meaty and delicious. I'd stay steer clear of the fried dumplings though, they were not done super well as the wrapper was way too thick and the filling was not the best either.

Initially we were skeptical because we came at 1 PM and I kid you not, we were the only customers. We ordered their wonton beef sliced $10 and their three treasure rice $10 and waited. People started trickling in. The three treasure rice (char siu, duck, crispy pork) was so good. The pork was crispy and melted in my mouth. The char siu has a hint of curry. The rice was soft and fluffy. We had the thick noodles with our wonton and beef slices. I made the right choice because the noodles were so chewy and delicious. I like it compared to the other types of noodles. My husband praised me for picking this place!!

Across old Wentworth Chinatown and the newer parts of Chinatown, one of the more well rounded, comprehensive Chinese spotsGreat if you're in the mood for something soupy, noodles, Hong Kong BBQ plates, or something in between - check this place out!We had:Hong Sue Fried Fish and Tofu - Solid fried fish and tofu dowsed in a perfect harmony between sweet and sour sauce. Try eating this in the first 15 mins before the breading on the fish gets too saturated with sauce. (10/10)Hong Sue Tofu - Pretty much same as above minus the fried fish (8/10)Triple item BBQ combination plate - Includes BBQ pork, BBQ duck, and fatty BBQ pork. Great value for the quantity and price. BBQ pork and duck were well smoked and tender. The Fatty pork was fully cooked, but felt it was reheated recently. (7/10)Hot and Sour Soup - Don't take this the wrong way because I love the hot and sour soup from Panda Express, but tastes like that :)Overall!Value/Price - 10/10Taste - 8/10Quality - 7/10Service - I'm here for the food, not a metric I measure :)

Came with the family. We were seated right away and provided menus. Waters came quickly afterwards but were only refilled at the end of the meal (assuming one just needs to ask for an earlier refill). The staff were friendly and courteous. The food ordered was pretty traditional - combo fried rice, orange chicken and chicken and mushroom. The portions were huge and the flavor was exceptional. It did take a bit for the food to show up but I figure that's because you can't rush quality.I checked reviews prior to coming and they did not disappoint. Well done Yummy Yummy Noodles!
