Yummies Cafe

Ok Hot'Lanta, there is a new cafe' in town and this one is worth the mention.Let's get into it! We found this place while out car shopping in the area and decided to stop in and check it out. It is in a strip mall like location Riverdale Crossing Shopping Plaza and has a very basic interior with a full bar. What they lack on decor and initial presentation they made up with service and food. This menu is very much traditional ATL flair. Chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, seafood pasta etc. We loved the waffels! So tasty, great texture and for me, perfect consistency with crispy edges and soft center. The chicken wings were seasoned well and not undercooked. If you know you know some places in ATL make under cooking a real problem. The shrimp and grits were awesome! Smooth, creamy grits, the sauce very tasty andthe shrimp were not skimpy.Our waitress was very attentive, kept checking in and was helpful making our menu selections. Overall this is a great weekend brunch, weekday lunch or dinner. Two thumbs up and super YUMMIE!

I wanted breakfast before I went to get my nails done.. I purchased the chicken and waffles.. It comes with 3 waffles and 3 whole wings. Chicken was seasoned great and it was made to order! Everything was good just a little heavy on the cinnamon on the waffles.. if it's not on the menu make sure no one is allergic to cinnamon before putting it on the waffle.. I don't think I saw it.. but all in all I will be returning..

Crispy non fatty bacon...checkEggs cooked as requested...checkToast not too hard and buttery...checkGrits creamy and not bland...checkToo full to try the pancake but it past the visual test! I went from breakfast but they know have a full bar and hookah so I'll have to go back a little later in the day! Definitely give it 2 thumbs up!

I was passing by Atlanta and visit a friend that wants to go for lunch. I look for near restaurants and choose Yummies, i have to say that it didn't dissapoint!! The place is very simple in terms of decoration but if you are looking for good food ,this is the place for you. Everybody was super nice and the food was super tasty and perfect! The chicken was fully cooked and crunchy, just the way it should be. We where.all very happy for our decision to try a new place.Estaba pasando por Atlanta y visité a un amigo que queria ir a almorzar. Busque restaurantes cercanos y elijo Yummies, ¡tengo que decir que no me decepcionó! El lugar es muy sencillo en cuanto a decoración pero si buscas buena comida, este es el lugar para ti. ¡Todos fueron súper amables y la comida súper sabrosa y perfecta! El pollo estaba completamente cocido y crujiente, tal como debería estar. Estábamos todos muy contentos por nuestra decisión de probar un nuevo lugar.

Amazing food and owned by probably THEE kindest man in Riverdale. Always has a gift for my autistic son and THE DRINKS!! Lawd the drinks are good the food is good!! Runnn to YUMMIES! I recommend the shrimp and chicken jerk pasta

Food and service was amazing! This is not the first time we have been here. The service is always good and the owner is always so friendly and welcoming! The place is always very clean. The food is made to order so it's always fresh and hot!

We were disappointed from a previous business that we ended up here at this business and we were pleased with the hospitable environment and people were welcoming into the establishment. We ordered the turkey burger and sweet potato fries meal and wings 10ct w/ sweet potato fries . These fries were so good and with a different twist to it which made it original. Thank you for having a nice place in the community to enjoy. Will be returning.

Was happy we got to try this place. Somewhat of a hidden gem. Food and service was very good (grits are wonderful). Knock was that I asked for bacon (shown on receipt) but received sausage. All in all, I would definitely recommend this place.

If you visiting Atlanta and need a breakfast spot that reminds you of your Grandma's cooking, then Yummies Cafe is the spot for you! The restaurant is about 15mins from the airport, which came in handy because My cousin was waiting on her flight to leave so we decided to kill some time eating breakfast there. I ordered the Jaz Breakfast while she got the fish and grits. Literally everything tasted like it was fresh out of my granny kitchen. Whether you're coming into Atlanta or killing some time before you head out, I'll suggest stopping by yummies for a bite Oh also! They do breakfast all day (major plus) and they have a huge dining area, so if you are still a bit hesitate about dining in, they have plenty of space for you and your party to social distance.

Saturday morning ride through Riverdale and my honey decides he would find us a breakfast spot. He find Yummies cafe at the top of his search. A very warm and friendly staff. Clean and spacious cafe. Complimentary coffee!‍‍We ordered the yummies special. Chicken sausage hash browns and blueberry pancakes for me and creamy cheese grits scrambled egg with cheese bacon and sausage links as well pancakes for him. My boo by ghost town djs playing in the background while drinking the Yummies punch brought back memories of my days of growing up in the hood and momma cooking breakfast on a Saturday morning. Jessica was the friendliest server I have had in a while. MyHoney says we must come back.Thanks Yummies!!
