I want new businesses to survive, but the food is not great.I ordered what I thought would be a simple and sure thing, chicken salad. The concept is easy enough, greens with some fried chicken on the top. I'll start with the greens which were limp and slimy. They seem like they've been out for quite a while. They definitely weren't fresh and definitely weren't even out of a plastic bag that had been recently opened. The chicken pieces were a confusing mess. To start, they were cold, cold chicken seems to be a theme with friends who have visited the restaurant. They were also pounded thin, about the thickness of pita bread with a tasteless breading that was separating from the chicken. A friend also ordered chicken strips and they looked and shared the exact same qualities. Even throwing the chicken in the microwave for 30 seconds would have been a step up.It was 100% inedible and when I sent it back the waiter didn't act one bit surprised...or even concerned.I hope they take the feedback seriously and try to improve. There's potential for the location, but it's going to take a little more effort to attract more than a handful of regulars.

I love the Yumbar!! Had a great dinner there this past weekend. I had the Old Pueblo bowl and it was delicious - healthy, too! I'd definitely order it again. My friend and I shared the raspberry lemon ricotta cake for dessert and that was excellent as well. The space is so beautiful, fun and inviting, and the service was top notch. I think our waiter's name was Ernesto and I hope I'm remembering right, because I want to be at one of his tables every time I go! Easy to find parking even on a Saturday evening.

Great fun and food. Went to a birthday party for Sunday Brunch and show with friends. Christian was our waiter and awesome! The lemon drop drink was fantastic Love the entertainers. Have seen some before one was new to us. Great vibe Hope to be back soon

This place is so much fun. I was expecting a cool drag show for brunch but this place was such a VIBE!! The Queens were super nice and friendly taking their time to speak and take pics with everybody , the bar staff was Great. We went for Sunday brunch and we enjoyed our freshly made burgers and drinks. This will be my go toSpot whenever I'm back in Az.. Shout out to the owners !!

Super fun vibe and delicious food! Would expect this place to be busy on a Saturday night, but it is still just under a month old and tucked away! It's in a little courtyard area with other awesome businesses (like window coffee!). My husband and I thought the decor was so fun, especially the flamingos outside. The server was super sweet. I got a veggie burger with sweet potato tots, my husband got a grilled cheese and fries. My veggie burger was very crumbly but otherwise tasted delicious! The tots were perfect, I loved the seasoning on them. My husbands grilled cheese needed to be toasted just a touch longer, but otherwise his food was good too! And not overly pricey, unlike some other nearby spots. Overall awesome spot and I hope more people start discovering it!

What a great new space in the heart of Melrose. YumBar has a fantastic food and beverage menu. Have eaten here twice now and the food has been amazing. Love the bar area. Great ambience. Fun cocktails. Nice patio space. Staff very attentive.

Our server was great! Had a grilled cheese with a burger patty add-on! Definitely will be back and hopefully go to a drag brunch!

I have been wanting to try this new spot. We finally made it but we were disappointed. The place is really nice. The food didn't have a lot of flavor to it. The chicken tenders were overcooked and there was one on the plate so small it was the size of a nugget. Didn't care for the green sauce with the tenders. Asked for Parmesan dressing and was charged a $1.50 for it, that was a surprise. The rest of the people in the party all agreed the food was bland. Unfortunately, we also agreed not a place we will run back to, sadly.

Great community place to grab a cocktail and see your neighbors. The pimento cheese dip was amazing, we fought over last bite. Thanks again Mark and Rocco for creating a place for all of us to celebrate and eat amazing food. YUM!!!

I hesitate to write this review but I don't want to gatekeep & this place deserves more people !! LOVE going here, the service is incredible and always friendly, the drinks are yummy, and the food is great. Everything I've had so far has been good (Mac and cheese and bbq fries are top!) My girlfriend and I love coming here before heading to Boycott/Stacys/etc. Great location, great music, and the vibe is unbeatable.
