i been coming here ever since i was 10 or so now im 23 this place is insane the flavors the size the price is amazing please try this place for fresh boba and the service is amazing since is same girl since forever so sweet such as the people in the back . also the sandwiches are fire asf

This place is run by a sweet Vietnamese couple and their daughter who works the register. They've already got my vote, I love supporting small businesses! My matcha smoothie was refreshing. The regular size here is a large at other places and it was perfectly sweet. The boba was also chewy and yummy. I do wish they coat it in more honey for that extra wow factor. Matcha not your thing? They have A TON of other flavors ranging from chocolate to mango.Lots of parking and $.25 charge on credit card purchases. Delicious and the only boba shop within miles. Can't complain with this boba spot in the neighborhood. Will be back to try their Thai Tea Smoothie and Pennyworth Juice!

Let me preface this review. I don't typically bash the 'mom and pop' establishments. However, there are exceptions to this rule. Very few exceptions, but there are some. Tonight's dinner was that exception. I'm not going to slam them on the fact that I had to wait close to thirty mins for my food. But what I will slam them on what they're trying to pass along for a properly made banh mi. We ordered three sandwiches tonight: combo, Vietnamese ham, and the grilled pork. I didn't realize that now a days, thin slivers of meat with a smidge of pate passes as acceptable. And my grilled pork??? It tasted more like pork jerky. Hoping to be optimistic I thought maybe it would taste better than it looks....MAN WAS I WRONG!!?!? I really wanted to like this spot and I'm a definite banh mi enthusiast, but this poor excuse for a weirdly constructed sandwich was just so pitiful and sad. And after looking at these reviews who swear by this place with five stars, y'all haven't been to a legitimately GOOD spot. Let me know, I can refer you to a wayyyy better place.PS. Those pictures they have in the shop look absolutely nothing like their actually product, not even close.

The frozen yogurt used to be great here, but now it is simply average at best. Nothing special at all. A waste of what used to be such a good place to stop at and grab something to cool off with

Local Mom & Pop Shop, family own business is a must. Always enjoy my TARO drink with there BBQ CHICKEN SANDWICHES!

My friend and I were looking for a boba spot in city heights and this came upon on yelp search. It is a cute and clean mom and pop shop. The couple were very sweet. The thing that surprised me the most was the extensive list of flavors for a smoothie/slush/milk tea. They even have soursap , durian and jackfruit flavors! Prices were decent. A small was $4.19 and a large is $4.69. My friend loved her milk tea smoothie and I love my rose smoothie. The boba was made perfectly, not hard nor mushy like other places. Tip: parking lot is behind the shop in the rear. No complaints whatsoever.

I've been to Yum Yum Yo several times in the past couple of weeks and just realized I've been a customer for 6 years. Nothing has changed, which is great. It's always nice to support a local business, run by a family who takes business seriously. During each visit, the conversation goes beyond placing an order, but includes updates on family as well. The newer flavors I've tried include Chai, Matcha, Mango and Passion.

My girlfriend brought these so called banh mi sandwiches. I was really looking forward to it, but when we opened up the sandwiches I was confused, where was the meat? What is this? A couple pieces of meat, a small amount of veggies and not much pate. This was just sad and disappointing. There are so many other banh mi sandwich stores out there, do you yourself a favor and go there and NOT HERE!

Me and my wife have been coming here for years. The owner, his wife and daughter are honest and hard working. Their chicken sandwiches are the best in town. We travel from La Jolla just to get them since the ones near our home don't compare.

27 min later got my boba. No line. Just super slow service my gosh! Boba was good. Wait was not.
