I'm not sure how we've missed this gem for so many years. We've only ordered from here twice, but this is our new "go to" spot for Thai and sushi. The staff is wonderful and passionate about what they do. The basil stir fry was beautifully flavored and had the perfect amount of kick. I'm ok trusting the chef with level of spiciness and they did not ask me - - I'm so glad I just let them do their thing. Perfect kick balanced so you feel it, but you still can taste the flavors and fresh veggies in the dish.My hubs had the pad Thai and sushi. While he liked the pad Thai, he sang wonders about how delicious the sushi was!I only removed one star for one thing that bothered me, though it's not enough to stop us from ordering here: the quality of the chicken. We had it in a few dishes and it was very thin, flat, and stringy...reminded me of some lesser classed takeout places. If the chicken pieces were a bit thicker or chunks, they'd keep the moisture and flavor in, and really bump their dishes to full five star status.Great flavors, awesome veggies, wonderful staff, meh on the chicken. Definitely worth anyone's try!

We ordered from here for delivery and I was a bit disappointed. We ordered scallion pancakes, vegetable tofu soup, basil stir fry, penang curry, bangkok noodles, and thai iced coffee. The vegetable tofu soup was more like a "cup" in quantity rather than a "bowl" with a tasteless broth, raw tofu, and a little bit of diced zucchini and carrot slices. Skip this. The basil stir fry was just ok. It had a kick but I wasn't overly enthusiastic about the overall flavor. I've had much better elsewhere. Penang curry was decent. The sauce was very soupy and just meh. The noodles were good. They were thic udon noodles and my favorite dish of all. The scallion pancakes were crisp AF and very good but small and light in quantity. The thai iced coffee was smooth and delicious. If you don't like coffee particularly sweet, I would definitely ask for them to go light on the condensed milk because this was too sweet for even MY taste and I could probably put a 5lb bag of sugar in my coffee. I will say that their tofu is absolutely delicious. It is fried to perfection and the texture is fantastic. Some of the best tofu that I have had in an asian dish possibly ever. Other than their delicious tofu, everything else was underwhelming and disappointing and I'd order elsewhere in the future.

Visiting for work and with a colleague we found this place on Yelp .Fast seating and friendly staffs . The place look nice and have life music . The food taste and quality are good . White side separately charges $2 each even with entree.A beer is like $7 . Overall good food but if you planning to have a conversation, this place is noisy . With live music and everyone talking just too much for me . Felt like screaming having a conversation. I am sure some customers like that . It's more like bar environment.Table area very tight and small . Very uncomfortable. Staffs are friendly and attentive.

One of the best Thai restaurants in the metro west area that my family has enjoyed going to for twenty years ! Now being run by two ambitious young men , Rush Sukto and Wachira are adding oomph to the food . Being vegetarians we usually find it difficult to get a decent variety in most cuisines . My family enjoys Thai food and this place has always lived up to its mark in satisfying our veg Thai cravings . Always expect a warm and welcoming atmosphere from their team . From crafty custom cocktails to scrumptious custom Sushi or Veg California rolls ( my fam'fav) their menu is fresh and delicious !Do try this place out at least once !

I'm raising this places stars to 10! Chef New, put a huge smile on our faces today! We started off with a seaweed salad followed by the most beautiful calamari with chili sauce, my taste buds were tingling After chatting with Mr. New about the menu and the sushi options we decided on 3 rolls and asked him to put his special spin on things and OMG!!! This turned out to be the best sushi and the best dining experience we've had in years! Seriously go try it for yourself, you won't be disappointed!! I'll be back here very soon!

Stopped by here back in September with my boyfriend for lunch since we were looking for somewhere to get some hot soup on a cold day. One of the owners was our server and he was extremely friendly and made us feel welcomed. We both ordered the Tom yum soup noodle and enjoyed it a lot :) He also let us try the Thai tea creme brûlée and it was really good. Overall definitely a restaurant I would come back to try their other foods and desserts. Thank you for such a great dinning experience!

very special Thai tea, I never had somewhere else before. Very rich and smooth flavor. But if you are a person who does not like too much sweetness, please remember to ask for less sugar. One of the best thing is that their ingredients are all from local farms. They have some fancy dishes like the steak which is perfect and it is their special, too. Service is amazing! Will definitely recommend this restaurant!

Three of my friends and I ordered some food from Yoong Tong Thai Restaurant. We got the chicken pad Thai, the yellow curry, the mango and spicy chicken, a minced chicken salad which was spicy and a Seafood dish that my friend got. We also got the chicken Satay.We each tried everything and shared our opinions. The votes were all FIVE STARS. The dishes were excellent with the right amount of sweetness and spice. The chicken Satay was excellent. The brown rice was great and complimented the dishes. We ordered delivery and the restaurant supplied good quality forks and spoons and a few napkins. The food arrived faster than expected. We ordered early evening on a Monday. We highly recommend Yoong Tong!

OMG!!! This is a Celiac's heaven! For the first time in 6 years I was able to have Crab Rangoon! It was heavenly!
