Yomie’s Rice X Yogurt

Yummmmm. This tastes exactly like the taiwanese yogurts I used to drink from the supermarket as a child. But it tasted even better as there are fruit flavoring and toppings you can add. My boyfriend and I decided to split the pineapple yogurt with sago balls and lemme say. I wish I had gotten my own drink cause it was so good. Next time I'll definitely try their top 3 drinks with sago of course.Super cool too, they sell custom phone charms with pop mart characters for those who enjoy.

I don't know what I was expecting, but it does what it says on the tin. For those of us (me) unfamiliar with the Rice Yogurt drink, it's a bit surprising. The yogurt drinks all have a tang, I'd argue in the same way Greek yogurt does. The flavors all looked amazing but I ended up with Oreo and my husband with the purple rice. If you're looking for something sweet, I'd say this wouldn't satisfy the craving, but if you're looking for something filling and refreshing, this would definitely do the trick. Next time I'd love to try the mango!TLDR; refreshing and filling drinks with a variety of flavors

If you're looking for a change up from the standard boba scene, then Yomie's is a worth a try. They have a huge selection of yogurt drinks that are so filling, you can count them as a small meal. As their name sake goes, the yogurt and purple rice drink is pretty damn good. The yogurt is creamy and doesn't really taste that acidic at all and the purple rice adds a nice texture and chewiness in place of boba. They also give a generous amount so you get to enjoy it throughout the entire drink. I've also had their mango sago drink which is packed full of flavor and refreshing on a hot day.Yeah, the prices are more than what you'd probably pay for boba, but I think the fresh ingredients and quality justify the price. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a different dessert spot in the convoy area.

We were a bit taken aback by the prices at first but the drinks absolutely delivered. Got the strawberry yogurt and the mango pomelo sago yogurt and they were both so yummy! Flavors tasted fresh, authentic and like real fruit/yogurt. I forgot to cut the sugar like I usually do but I didn't find the drinks too sweet. I'd say definitely give this place a try if you're a boba fan like me and enjoy some texture in your drinks, I'm normally swear by boba but I felt like the rice in the drink was a really nice alternative. Would definitely come back. The store is very cute and there's a couple of tables for you to sit and hang out. Clean bathroom too!

Y'all I think I'm addicted. I tried the mango pomelo sago after watching a crowd of people walk out with this drink. It's SO good! I've only ever tried the purple rice yogurt at the Yomie's in Las Vegas which was okay. The mango pomelo sago though, is on another level! It's sooo smooth, fruity, and the sago is perfection! I've had it 4 days in a row now. I love coming here too because the staff is so incredibly friendly! I truly appreciate the customer service here at Yomie's Rice x Yogurt San Diego, Thank you so much!

I was excited to try this place because I nearly saw the same drink at another boba place when this place specializes in rice and "healthy" concoctions.Well, I am not a fan of this place. It's all about preference and taste. If you're into the tart Vietnamese yogurt / Italian yogurt like Oui or Noosa / Greek yogurt / Yakult then you'll like this.I got the avocado, took one sip and nearly spit it out. Not for me. It was so thick and sour.It's also expensive at $10.50 with tax for a small cup.

Unique concept of yogurt based drinks, which I would presume is healthier than boba.While their flavors are very interesting (got their top 3 flavors -- mango pomelo sago, strawberry, melon avocado), their price point is pretty high. About $10 a drink, which is hefty, imo. Not a great place for groups, very few tables. But service was good! They offered recs and got my drink order ready pretty quickly.I enjoyed it, but would still prefer boba!

Wonderful healthy treat! Great, friendly, and quick service. My go-to is the jujube oatmeal yogurt, but everything I've tried is delicious. Highly recommend :)

Healthy dessert thats not too sweet and pretty filling.The yogurt is like a greek yogurt that has a biy of tart. Its not as tart as yogurt land or yakult and its more airy. The rice is also adds a hint of savory/roasted rice flavor to the drink. At first, its a strange combination but it grew on me. Our little one loved it so i ended up only drinking about 1/3 of it.

Great spot to grab a yogurt drink in the Convoy area! The yogurt drinks are pretty unique and healthy; at first I wasn't used to the combination of purple rice and yogurt, but it definitely grew on me quick and I'll definitely be back to try more!
