I came for the banana nut bread French toast. I was sat right away even though it seemed really busy. I was very happy. The French toast also comes with a side of peanut butter and syrup. This was my everything. 4 pieces of bread with bananas in every bite. It's really banana bread and not just bread with bananas. You can't really spear it with your fork, you need to scoop. It was noisy like all breakfast places when they're busy. But service was great and i got in and out quickly and full.

A fun place to go at least once! Great portion size and good variety of food options made from an Egg!The place was cute and was pretty busy I must say. Wait time is around 30 mins min on weekends (unless you pre-book).The Buffalo Chicken Wrap Sandwich was very tasty. I was a bit disappointed with Benedict Caprese because the Hollandaise sauce was quite less and there was very little pesto and mozzarella. The whole point why I ordered this instead of the simple Eggs Benedict.Nevertheless, Cheesy Egg Sandwich was good too.

This was our 2nd choice to try and we weren't impressed. The food came out luke warm. When buttering the pancakes, they didn't melt. Grits were unseasoned, and the chili was bland. The fried chicken with the waffle had a good flavor. The strawberry orange juice was a fun twist and tasted great.The service was questionable. He rushed around, spoke very fast, but friendly and kept forgetting things. Our child liked their blueberry pancakes and we liked the regular pancakes.

Another place that were told to try! Food is good, I would give them 4/5. It's easy to make a reservation through Yelp but you have to show up for them to check you in so you're actually in line! We had few dishes. I had their egg Benedict caprese, I expected it to be good but it was super runny I would give it 3/5 My husband and friends loved california omelet! Countryside skillet. We also had very berry and Nutella crape. Overall I would give them 4/5. Regular coffee was good, service was fast. I have had better breakfast places though but this get 4/5 overall Check in on Yelp for 10% off total bill

Going to preface this review by stating that my friends and I are from the east coast and we may be spoiled with how good the food is on the east coast. Food: Food was ...not great. - Countryside skillet had plastic tasting potatoes, bad cubes of sausage, and the gravy was ok. The pancakes tasted like baking soda and were dry. - My friend hated her West Coast Crepes and could not even get past a few bites. - Cinnamon French toast was very dry. - Breakfast Burrito w no eggs was basically a small black bean wrap. No complaints other than how small it was. Not too vegetarians friendly :( - Cupcake and Oreo Lattes were yummy! - Matcha Latte was very watered down but the server brought more matcha to concentrate the drinks for those who ordered it, which was very nice. Service: Our server was very sweet and food came out at a decent time. She checked up on us and bringing more matcha to concentrate the drinks was very nice. Ambiance: Very casual dining setting. We were a group of 7 and came on a Saturday afternoon at 12pm and were seated pretty quickly. TLDR: bad food, good service and casual ambiance.

There was a slight wait when I arrived today but I got sat pretty quickly. I ordered the chicken or the egg sandwich with potatoes. I wish the that they had put less sauce on the chicken sandwich it made it kind of messy to eat and I had to scrap off some of it to enjoy. The potatoes I were kind of crunchy like it could have been cooked for another minute or 2.The Santa Fe Frittata came with a lot less of food and the pancakes were the best part of that meal in my opinion.

Based on my visit to the Yolk Streeterville location, I felt that whatever I ordered was pretty mediocre. The pistachio latte looked a little sad (no latte art), and there wasn't a distinct pistachio flavor. The coffee in it could've been a tad bit stronger too. I ordered the west coast crepes, which had a beautiful presentation. However, I wasn't rly a fan of the taste. The crepes were a bit too sweet for my taste, and I thought that the mashed veggie mixture inside them was pretty bland. Even after using the hot sauce with my food, I felt a lack of flavor. The waiter was very nice though, and his service was great!The restaurant's ambiance is more of an old fashioned and simplistic vibe, and it seemed like most of the seating consisted of wooden chairs and tables.
