This was my favorite dining experience in Nashville. Perhaps so far ever. Everything was perfect! There were eight of us total. We started with a couple of orders of fried olives and foccacia bread, one with the whipped ricotta with garlic honey and the other with andjul (if I remember correctly). Both were amazing! My cousin and I could not decide because everything sounded so delicious, so we decided to share. We got an order of the Gnocchi with truffles, the Squid ink pasta with octopus, and the strip steak with whipped potatoes and wild mushrooms. The Gnocchi was, by far, the best I have ever had in my life. It was absolutely delicious! The steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. It was the first time I've had truffles, and I loved them. It was an AMAZING experience and a perfect way to start out our Nashville girls trip! Everyone loved what they ordered. The waitstaff was extremely helpful. And I can not forget, of course, compliments to the chef! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

The food, ambience and service is good but not worth it's prices. The place is definitely overpriced by the stds of a highend restaurant, for example- We had to wait for 15 mins in spite of having reservations, they missed getting one of the snack dishes we had ordered (did take it off the bill later). The food quality and taste was very good though and the cocktails were also very well made and balanced. The lamp entree especially was a thoughtfully made dish. The desert was tasty but lacked to surprise or intrigue me. Again, I have much higher expectations of service and creativity from such high end restaurants. I would have given it another start if the prices were not this high.

Food was incredible- one of the best dining experiences I've had in Nashville. Service was outstanding. Every single person we encountered was knowledgeable and warm. If I would have the privilege of returning, I would skip the entrees and double down on the pasta. Whatever you do, DO NOT skip dessert!

3.5I didn't get it. The dining room was gorgeous. The plates were expensive. The scene was deliberate. But, I didn't get it. I left feeling like Yolan was expensive for expensive's sake. I entered Yolan with some excitement. I was meeting friends from NYC and LA and I was eager to show off what Nashville was now.* Walking in, the main dining room is is a bit muted (where you might be expecting drama): ceilings that should be higher than they are, nicely-adorned (but not unusual) tables, soothing blues speckled against the walls, comfortable chairs (reminded me of the 70s/more comfortable than fashionable, which was fine by me). The aesthetic is more 'lobby' than 'chic dining room.' With a wall of bottles staring at us, the immediate impression was that the meal would be decadent. It was decent. We were encouraged to share plates but given the size of some portions, sharing was more awkward than enjoyable. Midway into the dining experience, we cut bait and ordered for ourselves. Before falling into the luxury of Italian wine, I began my meal with a seasonal mule and a lamb 'starter.' The mule was pleasant (dominant note was 'ice') and the lamb was tasty (seasoned and succulent, just not much of it). We broke into the wine routine and shared pasta dishes. Again, I could taste the fresh ingredients and house-made everything but scooping a bite between four people does not an enjoyable meal make. I went rogue and chose the trout. Served with radish and micro greens, over a bed of lentils and paired with a (mushroom-based?) sauce, I was very satisfied with my plate. By this time, my size expectations had been measured so I concentrated on the smell, taste, visual appeal, and texture of my meal rather than if it would sate my hunger. We finished the meal with a bite of a chocolate truffle. Throughout the meal, we had adequate service. There were a couple of hiccups but they were quickly corrected. To borrow parlance from the kids, I kept waiting for the beat to drop. The meal was... fine. But the price point was not fine. It was 'fine dining.' Do you get the picture? I am not some garish American, demanding Golden Corral amounts of food for McDonalds prices. I have eaten around the world and in all sorts of settings (high and low). This was... fine. Thing is, your wallet will remember the meal long after your palate has forgotten it.*'Now' being late Autumn a few years ago. The gild is off the lily.

I drove here on a scooter while my other half was in a conference meeting. The food portions were good and service was as well. Lots of different servers checked on the table and introduced themselves. I came for the espresso bar and was not disappointed with my Martini

This restaurant is amazing and I've already recommended it to a few others who are planning to visit Nashville later this year. Not only is it beautiful with a peaceful and elegant ambiance, but also the staff is absolutely amazing. We wanted a nice restaurant to close out our trip and Yolan was the perfect place to do that. Everything was delicious - Our favorite was the truffle gnocchi, which our waiter told us is a family recipe of the head chef. Our very close second favorite was the pappardelle in a white bolognese. All the cocktails were unique and delicious as well. We closed out the night with these adorable, hand painted pieces of chocolate. Highly recommend including this in your itinerary.

I always have a "but" in my reviews except for tonight. I've lived in Nashville for 20 years and this is likely the best meal I have had in this city. We started with the focaccia with the whipped ricotta and fermented garlic honey. We had the Buccatini Amatriciana that was just excellent final course was a shredded lamb that had a crust in the meat with wild mushrooms parsley and ricotta scorza nera and my wife had the roasted turnips. This is a must try in Nashville.

Seriously so yummy! Definition of fine Italian dining here in the city of Nashville. We started off our meals with the Focaccia, which is honestly the best sourdough I've ever had. Topped it with the whipped ricotta, fermented with garlic honey....I mean seriously - out of this world fresh and light. Never thought of combining those flavors, but it was a favorite. The Bucatini was to DIE for!!! So flavorful & pasta cooked al dente. If you love a tomato-based sauce, this is for you. Excellent service, I think our waitresses name was Sam, superwoman. Hint hint this spot is perfect for date night, very quiet, romantic low lighting, you're welcome in advance!

High expectations coming here and sort of a let down to be honest. It's in the hall of a hotel downtown and everyone who works there seemed incredibly pretentious, make it make sense. They were kind and we never had to wait for a water refill but it felt stuffy. We started with the mercato which was pretty good. I had the gnocchi and my mom had the risotto, they were both ok. The dessert was delicious but I cannot recall the name and it doesn't appear to be on the menu anymore. Give it a try if this sounds like your type of place, it just wasn't for me.

Definitely a standout in Nashville! One of my two dinners during my short stay and I don't regret it!!!!Shared two pastas, a salad, and the bread service with one other person and we were beyond satisfied! Complimentary arancini from the kitchen was such a treat! The bucatini is the standout dish (to the point that I wish we hadn't shared!). Service was good but a little slow at times, so expect it may not be a fast meal which can be really nice! For a restaurant in a hotel I'm 100% impressed!
