This restaurant specializes in sullungtang and I couldn't be happier with my entire experience here! I ordered a mixed sullungtang and everything came out fast. The broth is rich and creamy and the meat is so tender. My boyfriend loves their radish kimchi and you can even buy kimchi or radish kimchi togo! Parking lot is pretty small as there are restaurants next door that share a small strip of parking spots. The staff here is super funny and welcoming and the overall ambience is great here. Well worth the 30 minute drive for us!

The coziest and warmest place to get lunch/dinner.In my opinion, this restaurant makes one of the most authentic and delicious sseoleongtang around. One of my favorite dishes from here is the mandu soup, but honestly you can't go wrong with any of the menu items they offer. It fills you up and feels really hearty. They have salt for you to season on the side so it's perfect for me because I like having control in that realm. The side dishes are really yummy too! I bought a thing of their radish kimchi but sadly it wasn't as full as I'd like it to be.The ladies here are so kind, unlike other restaurants I've been to; they don't rush you or pressure you. I don't get that feeling of being a burden because I don't know what I'm ordering or if I have questions. The best place to get your soup on a cold rainy day!! (P.s if your eating the kimchi + soup don't forget gum for afterwards ;) )

Amazing seullung tang! Great service and quality of the food. The radish and kimchi were the best I've had in Washington! They also sell the radish and kimchi is small/large size if you want to take some home!

Their Brisket Sullung Tang is full of flavor due to the fact that they cook the ox bones for at least 24 hours. I've tried the clear and wheat noodles on different occasions and both are great choices. I think their radish kimchi (comes as one of the side dishes is delicious!! They also sell their housemade kimchi and radish kimchi for customers to buy to take home. I think it's nice that they also offer a bowl of rice on the side. I would highly recommend their sullung tung, and I would like to try their seafood pancake next time. I think the pricing is definitely reasonable. The restaurant is clean and the service is fast.

I've visited Yi's Traditional Korean Beef Soup several times and here's my take:Customer ServiceThe staff at Yi's are often busy juggling multiple tasks, so a bit of patience might be needed. If you are visiting on the weekends, expect a wait for a table. Overall, they are friendly and welcoming.AmbianceThe restaurant offers an intimate atmosphere with traditional Korean-style interior decor. The seating is clean and comfortable to enjoya meal.Food: Yi's signature dish, the sullung tang, is my go-to craving. The bone soup is rich in flavor, complemented by noodles and your choice of meat (I typically opt for brisket or the combo). Recently, I tried their new addition, Yukgaejang, which impressed me with its generous portion and delicious soup flavor. Overall, Yi's never disappoints with its hearty Korean beef soup offerings.

Located in a little strip mall, Yi's appears to be very homey. They're really known for one item which is the beef soup. After being seated, we ordered. The beef soup comes with different cuts of meat (I got brisket), some tea, and a bowl of purple rice. In the soup, you can also specify between two different types of noodles. The soup is very light and unseasoned - there's pepper and salt that you can add to your soup to adjust it to your liking. The brisket is tender and overall, it's a nice comforting dish.

Comfort food to the max. Recently became hooked on sullungtang on my trip to LA and was recommended to try this spot on my drive up to Seattle. So good, and now I try to make a pit stop here every time I make the drive. Warm, clean, broth that's piping hot and served with salt on the table to add at your own disclosure to create the perfect bowl to your taste. Their kimchi is so good! Crisp and fresh, with the slightest bit of sweetness to it. I brought what was left over home. Also their seafood pancake is a must- so much protein inside it's one of my favorite pancakes I've had!Service is quick, and the interior has a homey vibe to it- like eating over at your grandma's house.

First time trying this Korean style ox bone marrow noodle soup. Tried the brisket sullung tang and the mixed sullung tang. Both were very good. They do instruct you to put salt to your liking in the soup. Which after the salt, it tasted great. Our service was very mixed. We had a younger Korean lady straight up, not smile, not acknowledge us, and seemed very irritated when taking our order. Then we had a nice older Korean lady who brought our order out. The younger Hispanic lady was super nice and friendly who gave us the hot paste for the soup. When we got our check, the same younger Korean lady didn't say thank you, didn't even look at us and immediately turned away. It was not pleasant dealing with that server or getting our check.Overall, the food was pretty good. The service was very hit or miss.

This sullungtang restaurant is byfar one of the best in all of Washington!! It is a pretty small restaurant located in a Korean area of Federal Way. I am luckily always able to get seated right away, but there is always a line coming in the through the door no matter if it is for lunch or dinner. There menu is limited given that they specialize in sullungtang, but you can't go wrong with a brisket sullungtang. The broth is pure and flavorful, and it is up to your own discretion of adding how much salt you want, and if you need more spice, they have a spicy sauce you can request as well. They also have an option for either chewy glass noodles, or more of a buckwheat type noodle. I personally love the texture of the glass noodles. For banchan, they only have kkakdugi and kimchi, but both banchan are amazing, my table probably asked for at least 3 refills minimum! The crunchiness of the kkakdugi goes great with a spoonful of soup and also adds some spice as well. The staff are always so friendly as well, and they are always making sure we have everything we need and are more than willing to give us banchan refills. I bring all of my friends here, and they say that it is definitely worth the drive.
