Yipao Coffee

Strong coffee, good vibes, great service, cute little kiosk -shack right next to a brewery. They play great bum shaking, hip swaying music on their little boze speaker lolTasted a espresso frappe and it was good and caffeine packed. Gets icy chunks at the bottom of the drink, assuming they just blend up a latte. But nonetheless, it was good. Wish they had a mocha espresso frappe of some sort, but I just order what a joint is meant to serve than come up with Starbucks-like tendencies to make up whatever concoctions, LOL.My sister ordered a soy columbian mocha and enjoyed it.

I've been here about four times. The first time, an older gentleman (I'm going to guess is the owner but I'm not sure) made my coffee. I think that was probably the best I've had at Yipao. The other three times were made by other people, but the coffee just didn't taste as good as the first person who made it. The coffee is still good, but I wish the coffee is consistent disregard who made it. I've also been ordering the same thing each time. I would still come back, but probably because I'm waiting for the first guy who made it to show up. Hahha!

Honestly the best cold brew I've ever had! I don't even like coffee but this place is just different. Nicole is the best

I ordered a chai latte which was not too sweet! There was no wait, given it was around 4PM in the day. There was little seating outside but you could go into the brewery with which it shared a building.

This place gives legit Bogota nostalgia vibes. Came here twice. Ordered a cappuccino which was on point. My sister ordered on two separate occasions the dulce and caramel macchiato lattes. Service was inviting and overall, good value. I would highly recommend this place again!!

Got there matcha latte and maybe I'm just used to matcha lattes being sweetened but theres wasn't sweetened and so it just wasn't good to me and hard to enjoy. But I will say their matcha flavor was present and had a very natural taste which I appreciate. I also had a wait a few min for someone to come and take my order which was kind of frustrating! I totally get that it was the middle of a work day and business can be slow.. but at least have a bell or a buzzer so that customers can let you know they have arrived.

I've been coming to Yipao for almost two years and it's the best coffee in the area. The service is always friendly and they brighten up my day . I've tried a few of their food items as well , their beef pie is my favorite. If you like pour overs, they have an excellent variety to choose from (las Flores is my favorite). They also offer subscription for anyone wanting to buy some Colombian coffee to make at home or give as a gift . I would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting the best Colombian specialty coffee San Diego has to offer .

This is my go to coffee shop when in university heights. I get the panela latte with almond milk light sweet hot and it's always delish

The coffee is good! Unfortunately the service is not. I asked the barista very politely if it was possible that my drink be remade because it was extremely sweet? I thought, why not just ask since I paid money for it and I'd like to enjoy it. It wouldn't have bothered me if she kindly said no. I don't expect every coffee shop to remake drinks if it's not in their business model. But she gave me a very rude look and with an attitude she said "I told you it was sweet , I can add more milk"I kindly said no thanks and walked away. My boyfriend's drink was great though. Not busy at all for a Sunday.

I had a wonderful tasting and beautiful latte. Service was delayed by a large groups in front of me. But, the day was wonderful and the cup worth the wait
