yes. eat here! Great spot for sushi, noodles, soups, salad. Inside was quiet and had a small trickle of people constantly coming in. Pleasant! I have several items on the menu that I will come back to try! Great quality food, great selection, and great prices! Recommend!

I was invited to join my friend and her family at Yindee for dinner. While I had never heard of it before, I was surprised to find that I had passed it numerous times as it is snuggled under the Addison Brown line stop. Upon entering it wasn't too busy, and also very clean. We were greeted right away and they kindly accommodated our party of 7 people. I also didn't know it is a BYOB! They quickly brought out glasses for our beverages along with water. The menu has many options that consists of both Thai and Japanese items- a little something for everyone. The items came out in a reasonable amount of time. They adjusted the number of items for order to accommodate our party so everyone had one to sample. We had crab rangoons and both types of egg rolls. This is the one item of opportunity- the portion of filling to portion of the wrap; I would have liked more filling. The portions of the entrees were definitely generous. (I read one prior review where they stated the portions went down. How big were they before?!?) All items were enjoyed. I had the Pad Woon Sen myself which was a good mix of glass noodles to veggies and tofu. The sauce was also good. I had a little bit of FOMO when seeing other dishes, but kept my fork to myself since I wasn't with my family. I see you Pad Thai and I'll be coming for you next time. We got the bill and it was under $100 for 7 people. That doesn't happen in Chicago. I'll definitely be back as it is a great place for groups that will accommodate various food preferences.

Yindee is a combination Thai/Japanese restaurant. This is located on Addison just west of Lincoln Ave & the El train tracks. I really like this place it's a small Ma & Pa restaurant that has a very charming interior space. The prices are very reasonable. I have eaten here twice in the last 2 days. My kind of restaurant, good food, nice ambiance, reasonable prices & super nice owners. What's not to like? So far I've only tried the Thai dishes but I plan on going back & trying some of the Japanese dishes like sushi & maybe a bento box. I stopped by here for lunch & came back w/my wife for dinner the next night. Try it I think you will like it.

Ordered delivery and was not impressed with the quality of the fish in the sushi. It didn't taste fresh and i noticed that some of the cuts looked a bit sloppy. The tom yum soup too was pretty underwhelming and lacked flavor. The pork in it was also tough. Maybe it's different if I dine in, but wasn't super blown away with Yindee.

Nice, quiet and clean. The place was great to bring my kiddo. We've come back a few times now. The food is good and the servings are big. They do a good takeout business as well. We always have the same server, I think she must own it and she's very nice.

Really good prices, amazing dumplings, and good sushi and Thai food. The place is pretty small and run by just a couple of people at a time, which means they may not always be the most attentive, but they care a lot about the business and that really shows. The only gripe I had was that the Thai food was not spicy in the same way as most Thai food is. It was spicy, don't get me wrong, but I think they used a different spice or pepper than most other Thai restaurants. Overall the best place for the best price we have found in Chicago so far! We will be back!

Wasn't impressed at all. Ordered pad Thai and crab ragoon. Wasn't a fan of the sauce for the ragoon and overall everything just tasted really bland.

One of my go to spots seeing as it's super reasonably priced and easy for me to get to. Food is great, I'm a pad Thai fiend and I really like theirs, their dumplings are incredible, their sushi is really fresh, just everything I've tried there has been really tasty and cheap. I love going to dine in because the owners are just the sweetest people and always happy to see my partner and I. Great little spot that I wish more people knew about!!

Reasonable price, friendly staff, and cozy space. Easy access to CTA. Me and my friend visited the restaurant around 6 pm on weekday night, and our food was served less than in 10 minutes. This place is absolutely good for friends and family. The reason why I took 1 start off is that I put my hopes up too much towards sushi. Wasabi was not spicy enough, rice was hard, and the portion of one piece was too small to enjoy its flavor. Maybe other sushi places in Chicago might be similar but I still wanted to have something more authentic. I might come back here and try something different.

My first time eating here! I called in a takeout order for tofu Pad Siew. It was only a 10 minute wait, which was nice. Staff was friendly when I picked up, and prices are great. The interior has plenty of seating and is dimly lit. Unfortunately the Pad Siew wasn't that great--the steamed broccoli was the best part because it had the most flavor...broccoli flavor. Lol. Tofu was a bit sour and lacking flavor, and noodles were very mushy/clumped together. The sauce was also sour and lacked flavor (description says a sweet soy sauce, definitely wasn't sweet). I can't speak for other menu items, but definitely go elsewhere for pad siew.
