Yesenia's Mexican Food

You have got to try the No.3 veggie breakfast burrito. It's loaded with bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, eggs, and cheese. It's absolutely the best veggie burrito I've ever had. It's big so my wife and I split it and it fills us up. Not spicy only the great flavors of the seared veggies. Delicious!

I haven't been here for some years since moving to east county, but I felt the need to review it anyways. This was one of my favorite spots when I lived in Carmel Mtn, not only because of the food but because a use of the service, including the owner (I'm not sure if he still works there, it's been over 5 years). There was always music playing, and the place had an amazing "warm" feeling. As soon as I walked in I was welcomed by him and other employees, and always felt like family. We would catch up as if I had known him for years, talking about family and making plans we'd never commit to. But that was the best feeling and I hope he is doing well.The food was always amazing!! My go to was the mega California burrito, as big as my forearm, and it was delicioso I plan on going back as soon as I'm in town again. Thanks for the memories

Been here quite a few times over the last few years and honestly, the food does NOT disappoint. I especially like the easy parking.Last time we ordered a plain cheese quesadilla and let's be honest, it's kind of hard to screw up a cheese quesadilla. We also ordered the queso tacos with birria and WOWWWWW, it was so good and the birria was so flavorful! Highly recommend Yesenia's!!!

Finally! Decent REAL taco shop in north county. I've been so disappointed since moving here (from ocean beach) and the lack of decent tasting "old school" Taco shops. But Yesenia's is just that! They have a regular taco shop menu and the flavors are on point. Love their spicy jalapeño creamy salsa too. They're also not shy with portions - the real deal

I wanted to get food before getting coffee at Mostra so I tried this place out for the first time. I split an asada breakfast burrito with my partner and it was flavorful and I really liked both the red and green salsas. The service was fast and friendly. There were plenty of tables inside and it was kept clean. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

Always great service and great burritos! They are fast and efficient. It's a little shop but plenty of seating inside and outside.

The food here is soo good!! Have been a couple times and have not been disappointed. The salsa bar is thorough but we haven't found one we love yet. Anything with shredded beef is delicious. It is a great little to go mexican shop. The cheese enchilada was a little thick, and we asked for just sour cream and cheese on the rolled tacos but got everything instead. They were still good but not as we ordered.

This is my go to Mexican food restaurant. My family loves the El Grande burritos because we can cut them in half or even thirds for a filling meal. We love the owners as well, they're always super kind and encourage us to check out the salsa bar. When we place large orders they also give us free chips! They don't skimp on the ingredients and you can tell it tastes fresh. We've been coming here for years and we still love it!

I have embarked on a California Burrito tour, and this was a recent stop. $11.49Portion size was commensurate with the price.Carne asada was tender. This burrito was pure umami, filled with mostly meat. Fries were not crunchy, but were not soggy. Warm soft flour tortilla (although I generally prefer the tortilla to be browned/toasted). I would definitely eat this again!There is a salsa bar with multiple different types of mild and spicy salsa.

Food and service was fantastic and the horchata is delicious, I got 1 beef enchilada and 1 cheese enchilada. They were kind to let me mix it up. They were absolutely delicious and got totally devoured. 100% recommend
