Food was delicious! My husband and I came here for lunch on a Friday. It was not busy so we were happy to easily get a table. We had the shrimp crepe which was really good. The fish fillet and Chinese brocoli over rice was really good - love the gravy! Wish we ordered 2 of these two dishes. I thought the shrimp won ton noodle soup was a bit bland but my husband enjoyed it. We both agreed the fish maw and seafood soup was bland - did not like it as much. The shrimp crepe and fish fillet were soo delicious that this place deserves the 5 stars. Service was quick - our waitress was helpful. You order your food from a touch screen but the wait staff will help you out if you don't know how to use. They also validate parking in the Chinatown parking lot. Modern interior with some fancy lighting in one room.

Wonderful spot in Chinatown. Their signature, thinner rice rolls / cheung fun are so good. Thinner, lighter, less chewy than what you typically get. Super tasty. Braised beef is out of this world. The drinks are also quite good - Hong Kong milk tea was tasty and the mango + watermelon smoothie was fresh.Service is fine. Waiters are semi attentive but you just need the iPad on the table for your ordering. Most of the crowd was families; very pleasant vibes.I would recommend and will come back!

I lived in Hong Kong for a brief period when I was young and I'm always looking for those nostalgic flavors. Yep definitely hit home for me. I got one of their signature rice rolls and their salty fish and chicken fried rice. Both were absolutely amazing. Chili oil is always a hit or miss with me but I really liked theirs. Also to note, service in Chinatown is also a hit or miss especially that I'm an ABC (American born Chinese). For some reason I sometimes get the side eye from Chinese servers. Here I felt none of that. They helped me quickly and without judgement even with my broken Chinese. In fact one of the servers helped me save money by taking on my boba drink to the rice roll that comes with a free drink (pretty sure boba isn't included in that deal but he helped me out anyways!I really enjoyed Yep Kitchen. Also they validate parking which is a great plus.

This newish casual restaurant has been open for a year and it's just great, like 5 stars great! They have a huge menu, very reasonable prices, big and delicious serving sizes, and a clean, airy, modern, and spacious dining room. They also have an easy to use e-pad for ordering a wide variety of dishes and with helpful and enticing photos of all of these dishes. The e-pad ordering is also handy for being able to specify no or less salt, no MSG, less sugar, less oil, etc, which is really a nice touch. Flagging down one of the rotating servers was easy and after ordering, the piping hot food came out without much of a wait. For this lunch outing, our party of 4 ordered 3 different bowls of congee (each $7.49), a Mongolian beef which was mine and $8.49, and an order of pork liver rice noodles ($5.49). All of the servings were very generous and great values. The congee is a simple dish, but when it's done right as it is here, the flavor is deep and rich and it's a very homey comfort food, and that's what they have here. The big dining room was busy and that's another confirmation of the value here given all the competition in Chinatown Square. I can't wait to return and try something else.

Everything was delicious. I felt the tendon of the brisket was a bit too tough to eat. But the food overall was good. Nice crispy salt and pepper wings packed with flavor. The combination fried rice was delicious. Service was great. I will be back for some beef fun roll.

Yelp Kitchen just opened up a couple months back right within Chicago Chinatown. Extremely spacious and super bright from all the light. The menu item cover a wide range and typical offering similar to a HK style café. Affordable price and decent on their service. Overall the flavor of the food is on point. My pick would goes to the Fish Filet on rice with sweet corn and the Soy Sauce Noodles. Make sure to end the meal with some HK style milk tea [my favorite]

Food is really good and the ordering process is very quick thanks to the tablet system they have set up at every table. It's definitely not your fanciest joint if that's what you're looking for but it's clean nonetheless. Staff could be a bit friendlier but I don't have anything bad to report. Overall great food, would order again for takeout (especially the sushi/rolls, they were EXCELLENT)

I was really intrigued when I saw this restaurant open cause it was Hong Kong style dishes. We came at night and the restaurant was pretty empty. We got the salted egg yolk shrimp, pea shoots, and beef hor fun. These were some classic dishes but none of them were super amazing. The beef hor fun was very bland and was missing the smoky flavor. The portions were decent and they had a decent amount of options on their menu. I might come back and try something else.

Yep![1] Pay them a visit, they're right across from the Red Line Chinatown (Cermak) stop. (Don't drive, train there!)I got their special congee which I suppose is special because it had all the things. I remember tasting ginger and seeing intestines? But who knows what else. The congee was HOT and HAWT when it came out. Temperature and taste-wise.Because I'm a closet fatty, I also got the pork and corn dumplings. Yum. Would get the dumplings and congee again.I ordered from a tablet, and each dish included an optional drink. I got a black hot coffee, which was perfect for conquering my hangover of the week.Table-side, there's soy sauce, chili oil (yum), and pepper. There might've been salt.Worth a visit, and worth the value. Credit accepted - even AmEx. Light street parking.[1] How many reviews will begin like this?
