I tried the $9.99 lunch special. Free won ton sticks arrived first. Crunchy with a fried flavor. They were ok. Crispy won ton was a crunchy fried won ton wrapper. I liked the fried flavor. Egg roll was crunchy and had a nice assortment of veggies. I would have liked a chicken egg roll. Won ton soup had a few pork won tons with a light pork flavor. I would have liked if the meat was marinated more. Fried rice had minimal flavor and some tiny yellow specks that may have been egg pieces. Yenchim chow mein had a mix of beef, chicken, and shrimp. Meats were tender and had nice flavor. Dish had a smoky wok flavor.2nd visit I tried the tea smoked duck and the house fried rice. It seemed like the duck was fried as the skin was crispy like fried chicken skin. Also some of the pieces were overcooked as happens when the small pieces cook faster than the pieces with no bone. Loved the flavor of tea smoked duck.Fried rice had lots of egg, beef, chicken, and shrimp. Meats were tender and full of flavor. Strongest flavor was of egg as you get tons of it.3rd visit I tried the won ton soup and fried dumplings. Won ton soup featured pork won tons with 2 pieces of chicken and shrimp. Won tons were small and the pork filling was very lightly seasoned. Chicken was very lightly seasoned and did not have much flavor. Shrimp did not have much flavor either. I wouldn't get this dish again. Sab E Lee on the other side of the parking lot has an delicious won ton soup.Potstickers were crunchy on top and the bottom was soft and getting close to disintegrating. Pork filling was heavily seasoned with soy sauce. You get lots of pork but I didn't like the flavor that much. I prefer my potstickers deep fried with some veggies in the filling.Service was good. Lots of free parking. Not crowded at lunch.

Good quality delicious food that my parents always love to get as takeout. Kind quick service, and the honey walnut shrimp is really good.

Friendly service from a locally owned family restaurant. In the mood for some Chinese food and you're a local to the Poway, PQ, RB and Mira Mesa area...this is off of Black Mtn Rd and the 56 fwy. Easy to get to in the Vons shopping center. What did I have today, the Snow White Chicken lunch special ($11.99) came with my choice of fried rice, SWC and a little egg roll of course. This great little spot has that "old school family vibe" to it. Kinda quiet in here but it still hits the spot. Great for take out as well (which seems to be a lot of their business) if you're in the mood for some Chinese food....come give this place a try. Eat in or dine out...but you will certainly enjoy your meal, nothing fancy, nothing to "Asian" for you, just some good old Chinese food.

Been coming here for years and years. The food is always great and the service is always awesome. It's getting old and the place needs a little love but food and service outweighs the wear.

How could I have missed out on such a fabulous place for Chinese so close to home for so long?!I have no excuse other than Yelp didn't recommend this joint until now (or I stopped ignoring the recommendation). In any case, I'm happy to find something more authentic and delicious nearby. This restaurant is tucked away in a busy shopping plaza next to Bubble Up Waffle.Although the shopping plaza is large, there is limited parking immediately in front of the restaurant. This section of the plaza is heavily trafficked as it's by an entrance/exit. So don't be surprised if you have to park further away during peak times. We called it in for this first carryout experience:- Lunch Special Mongolian Beef: tender beef with ample and flavorful sauce to coat my sample fried rice. Comes with a veggie egg roll and wonton, both of which I ignored in favor of the yummy beef n rice. - Lunch Special Kung Pow Chicken: Juicy chicken with a sauce that had a nice kick. Comes with a veggie egg roll and wonton, both of which my girl enjoyed, which let me ninja several bites from her plate.- Yenchim Pan Fried Noodles: Shrimp, beef and chicken with crispy chow mein noodles. Easily some of the best crispy pan fried noodles I have had in awhile as take out. They smartly separate the fried noodles from the rest of the dish. I look forward to dining in to fully enjoy this dish.Everything was very neatly packaged in a repurposed cardboard box for easy transport. I had a partner in crime for this food run but this box was so well packaged I easily could have placed it on the floor of my truck and not worried about spillage as long as I was not overlanding. Haha. The food I have tried from here thus far as takeout is really good. I'm sure it would be even tastier to dine-in, but I'm still mostly on a takeout kick. The lunch specials are reasonably priced but other menu items appear to have fallen victim to inflationary pricing sadly.Even so, I cannot wait to return and try more items from their menu soon. Cheers!

I am sucker for old school American Chinese food. This place is it for the area and fairly good too. From the foot traffic, and the ambiance, it runs on take out but I enjoyed the dine in experience
