Yen Sushi revolving bar

Yen has taken over the old Teharu Sushi spot. I was in town and had to check it out. We had a good experience! Prices are affordable and it's always fun making selections off the belt. Remember you're more paying for the experience and wide selection here. You can also order some entrees off the menu like chicken teriyaki. Service was attentive and friendly. Definitely pop in if you want to grab some sushi off the belt.

This is my first yelp review.....Warning: the spicy ramen is made with instant noodles........That's fine but at least you should note that on the menu so people are not caught off guard.

I have been to this location a few times and I'm never quite impressed or satisfied with my visit, however my last visit was by far the worst & showed me how little this location cares for its customers. We sat at the sushi bar & arrived at 7pm.When we arrived it was pretty busy but the conveyor belt was lacking in what they had to offer.They had cheesecake, macarons, cheese balls & edamame that kept rotating and nobody was grabbing them. We noticed once it hit 7:30pm the chefs and staff started cleaning up, no more sushi rolls were being made, staff was cleaning the bar area around us with supplies you'd use when the restaurant is closed. 7:45 hit & more people arrived and they were seated right at the bar where little to no food was on the conveyor belt! I overheard servers telling customers they could only order from the menu at this point which left them feeling rushed and indecisive & that it would be last call. Keep in mind this place closes at 9pm & they expect staff to receive tips for seating us, it's hard to even get a refill! Restrooms are not kept up with, I do not think this place is worth the price at all.

Came in to eat and watch college basketball on the two televisions they have. After walking in and being assigned two seats at the bar, I simply asked the waitress (ABBIE) if I could move down two seats so I could have a better view of the televisions since there were plates blocking the view of the TV. She absolutely refused me to move down two seats at the bar, even though the store was empty. After asking why she said "I was told that by my manager told that.customers must sit in a row and cannot have but 1 space between them." I was given the option to sit so close to the TVs it would be very uncomfortable to look up to watch. I asked if some of the plates could be lowered on the bar so I could have an unobstructed view of the TV she no and once again offered the table underneath the TV. When I asked why, she rudely said "let me get my manager". The asst. Manager came out and started down the exact same path. I asked since "when did this place become so non-customer friendly?" I had never been in a restaurant that refused to allow a customer have an unobstructed view of the TV or allow them to sit in a place they felt comfortable! The asst. mgr did allow the chef to lower the level of plates for which I thanked him. The waitress ABBIE then proceeded to stand behind me with her hands on her hips making me feel very uncomfortable. Next thing I know, the store manager, Sung was standing behind me and said hey Eric ( because I've been going there for years and we have had a great relationship all along) what's going on? I tried to explain to him what had transpired and was interrupted a few times but then he let me explain just how incredibly rude and insensitive his staff had beenat his direction. We went outside to discuss in an effort to not make more of a scene. He kept telling me how much he loves Abbie and how great sheWas at following his demands and could not bring himself to see that this was a very simple request and that Abbie could have and should have seen other options that could have done to save my business from leaving for good. His absolute need for control of power was clear. I had explained that for years I had passed SEVERAL other Sushi restaurants to come there but now I will never step foot in here again! The rudeness and the unwillingness to satisfy a simple request of having an obstructed view of the one amenity they have in the store is unforgivable.

I've been going to this place for years and love it! It's delicious, affordable, and offers a great variety of sushi. They're great about personalizing selections to your choice, and customer service is fabulous! Definitely a regular stop!

The best revolving sushi in the area. Fish quality was much better than others in the valley. We come here often for fast dinner before kids class. Service was also great. Highly recommended!

I have a hard time with this concept, but I thought it was kinda cool when I went in. So many choices of sushi. There was some good rolls and some I wasNot a fan of. I don't think I can get over the idea that it's not made to order. Overall it wasn't my thing.

This place is always serving up delicious sushi!!!!! The owner is sonice & attentive. Always says hello to us! We almost always sit at main sushi bar area. Love the conveyor belt concept. We love the baked scallop roll & their yellowtail nigiri literally melts in your mouth. We frequent this great spot often!!!!

We love this place! I come here often with my bf and family and always recommending to friends!Ren is an awesome server, fast & on top of it! When this place is busy you can tell he makes it run smoother!! Nice in and out sushi spot

Our server was perfectly attentive, checking in with us at the right times. The food was great. But what really made it stand out, was the accommodations they made for my 10 month old's kids meal. They swapped cucumber salad for cooked zucchini so it was soft enough for my toothless baby. I would definitely come again if I'm ever in the area.
