Don't sleep on this place!! We went around 3pm & the place was near empty. They have an all day happy menu if you're on a budget. Food was fresh. Food came out really fast. Servers were knowledgeable & friendly

You wouldn't expect this place to be so big in the inside. We were recommended by this place from a friend because she knew our love for sushi. Our family owned restaurant was bought out by a sushi franchise restaurant. Anyways. Lol. Yen was very good. Although busy. They were fast and prompt. My 6 yr old son over the salmon and I got the rock and roll. The fish was fresh. Very good. We'll go back! You can tell they're used to having a lot of traffic. They're fast. Glad we tried them. Go check them out!

Late night sushi crave. Usual spot was closing so decided to hit this spot up. Service fast and attentive. Ambiance little to none as everyone was closing up. Sushi was ok, spicy pork not so much. I don't have much to say except maybe I should come earlier however to me service and food shouldn't matter the time.

Accidentally came across this place while across the street at CocoShack. I was craving handrolls and looked up on yelp where I could get some and Yen Sushi popped up. We ordered some handrolls to go and while inside waiting for our food, the place looked jammin' so we said we needed to come back sometime for dinner. Last week the hubs and I came back for dinner. The service was great, the food was fantastic and the price was very reasonable. We ordered a few handrolls which were huge and delicious, baked mussels, salmon sashimi, miso soup, scallop volcano roll and the crazy boy roll (which was my favorite!). We will definitely frequent this place more. What a hidden gem.

The recent 1 star reviews left me very worried as this place is a long established neighborhood favorite for myself and many others. It has been several years since my last visit and I was very much missing it. I took a leap of faith and hubby and I had our anniversary dinner here last night. It was so good and I'm relieved it went so well for our special meal.Our order consisted of miso soup and chicken curry rice for hubby and baby octopus and chicken curry udon for myself. Miso soup was standard and the baby octopus was borderline tough with too much breading for my liking. Our curries were excellent and something we would both order on a regular basis.Service was pleasant and our items came out at a good pace. We got in at a really good time at 5pm before the dinner rush. It quickly filled up after we sat down at our table. This is a great place for families and getting together with friends. It will be tough to have a quiet, romantic meal as this place isn't really built for that but I still very much recommend this for a date night.The all day, everyday happy hour menu is an incredible gift and will help keep costs down if you are on a budget. I am really looking forward to my next visit!

Had dinner during happy hour. Service was good and quick, food was tasty. My friend and I split an order of gyoza as an appetizer. I had the Rainbow roll and Salmon and spicy scallop roll. Both rolls were fresh and delicious. My friend had the Crunch roll and Deluxe crunch roll, and she enjoyed them so much she ordered some more to go. Would recommend. Happy hour prices are very reasonable. Ambiance is good, about what you'd expect from a Japanese restaurant, and they have a sushi bar you can sit at.

My husband and I really enjoyed this spot. It had a lot of good rolls. My favorite was the Phoenix roll with langostino and wasabi! It isn't something I've had before at other restaurants. The location is small but I like the intimate feeling of it. Not super fancy or expensive. It's a perfect middle ground sushi place.
