A relaxing quiet place to enjoy a lunch, the food was delicious without all the oil that some Chinese restaurants use.

Been there forever. Good solid Americanized Asian food. Service was good and lunch had good portions and fairly priced. The decor could use some love--taped vinyl banquettes, etc. parking free and accessible

I've gone to this restaurant ever since I was a kid and it's always been great! The family that owns the restaurant are very kind and welcoming. The food never disappoints. Today I tried the garlic green beans and chicken for the first time and I'll definitely be getting it again! There's a large lazy susan on the table making it easy to share food. I highly recommend!

The entree in question is almond chicken. While the chicken gravy was nice, the fry batter reacting to the hot oil makes it greasy and puffy. The main drawback is that the chicken is overcooked and dry inside, almost like gnawing on chicken jerky. I would advise against ordering this.- Blake

Best old school classic American Chinese in area. Tacky old restaurant with lazy Susan's and weird bar. Giant koi pond that fascinates my three children. All food is delicious. Never had a bad dish. This is not a fancy Chinese restaurant, it's a strip mall that used to be a theater. I saw Lost Boys there in the 80's. It's wedged between a pool hall and a nail salon. There will be shady guys smoking, but it still will be worth it. Door Dash and Uber crazy, support in person or call in and pick up. They'll let kids feed the fish. I could put some food porn pic up, but I'm 47 and that's g & r. Go yourself and see.

We used to go to Yen Ching all the time. Then COVID happened, and we stopped going. We visited a few days ago. we ordered a few dishes to enjoy at home. The taste of the dishes was great, but the size of the chicken pieces was the correct size if you are or were a mountain man. They were HUGE! Not sure why they were gargantuan, but maybe next time they could be the size of normal human bites, please?
