We have gotten banh mi here many times - always good. Today we decided to stop and try the pho and other items. Do not recommend. The pho broth was tasty, but lacking herbs and may have caused some stomach issues. This was the same for rolls and vermicelli bowl. However, the worst part was the copious amount of plastic used for dine in - the same or worse than pickup. At least 7 small containers for sauce and hot sauce that wouldn't be recyclable due to all the food stuck to them along with a styrofoam tray for rolls. Not even reusable plastic cups for water. If you go, get the banh mi and leave the rest. They are good and only wrapped in paper.

Tucked away in a cozy corner, this hole-in-the-wall Pho joint may have limited seating, but its popularity speaks volumes. Stepping inside, the aroma of simmering broth sets the stage for an authentic experience. The banhmi sandwich was full of flavor and the baguette was very fresh. The bowl of pho offered us comfort on this gloomy day, with its rich, savory broth and tender noodles. Despite the humble surroundings, this hidden gem delivers a dining experience that keeps locals coming back for more, making it a must-visit and we are glad to have driven the half hour commute to try it.

They used to have a Bellevue location where it was the happening place for banh mi's here on the eastside, literally everybody said good things about Yeh Yeh's and it really was the only good place for it. Of course the one time me and a co-worker beg the reception desk to block us out extra time on our schedule to drive over and finally try Yeh Yeh's, there was a sign thanking for all the support, but they were going to focus their energy on their Lynnwood store. I don't get up north often and just forgot about it. Had a microblading appointment in Mountlake Terrance where I wanted to try something new to eat in the area and remembered that I still have Yeh Yeh's bookmarked! At last, finally got to try the famous banh mi I've heard so much about. It is located in a plaza that's easy to pass by if you're not looking for it, no frills type of place, that's how you know it's authentic. There's a variety of different banh mi from your standards to a twist like philly, brisket, pastrami, salmon, and shrimp. There's also a few basic Vietnamese entree like pho, beef stew, and vermicelli bowls, but most likely you're coming in for a banh mi. The menu is in English, very easy to navigate as the menu isn't overwhelming. Banh mi is good, not sure if I'll make the drive if I'm not in the area, but food is solid. Tell me about your experience if you've been here or is going to after reading this review:)

Love exploring little places like this to find some of the best food. On the way back from the outlets we were wanting a quick meal that would fill up us quickly and yeh yen's did not disappoint! The bread was soft, fillings were ample, and every bite was savory. For two banh mi's and spring rolls, the total was $23 which is a STEAL. Spring rolls extra crispy and no complaints at all. I'm so excited to try another dish when I inevitably come back to support the local restaurants.

Ordered the beef vermicelli bowl and Vietnamese iced coffee. Pretty decent but this place is known for the banh mi. Coffee is very strong and well made. Service was alright no complaints. Inside was fairly busy with several others eating in. Cleanliness was average.

I've heard that this place had great banh mi sandwiches so we wanted to check it out. The restaurant was located off the 99 Highway, and the parking lot was small so it's not a big spot. When you walk in, you stand in line to order and then they bring out your food at your table. This is different from most other Vietnamese restaurants where they have table service, but the food came out fast.We got the grilled pork sandwich ($7.25) which was a good sized sandwich with a large portion of meat. We also got the pho combo ($11.75) which had all the meats and the broth was flavorful. I would have preferred more meat in the bowl, but the portion of food for the price was good. It's a quick and casual spot and there were a lot of to-go orders. The food is definitely worth a try and this is the place to go if you're looking for good and fast Vietnamese food.

No frills, authentic Vietnamese food, located next door to a fruit and vegetable store. The interior is mostly undecorated, with a few tables for seating. Place your order at the counter, and your food will be brought to your table. The menu includes all the classics: Banh Mi, Pho, Bun (vermicelli), and a handful starters, sides, and specialty drinks. The Iced Vietnamese Coffee was delicious; strong, creamy, and sweet, as it should be. My husband got a Beef Stew, which was served with fresh bread. He devoured it, and really enjoyed the savory flavors. My Tofu Bun was bland. The fish sauce somehow tasted like nothing, and the only flavor in the dish came from the fresh herbs. It was healthy, at least. I would opt for a Banh Mi next time instead.

Definitely do not leave this place without trying their infamous Pork Banh Mi. The freshly made bread was the standout. The broths are good. However, the quantity of meat, as was mentioned in other posts, is very small, so don't expect to get full off of it.

I expected more. It's decent. But it's kind of average. And the place is hard to find.I certainly do not think it's the area's best Banh Mi by a long shot. So they use a slightly different bread, you say. Okay, but it was nothing to write home about. And the sandwich was very average. I certainly would never make another special trip here to get one.The phở I saw at several tables came in HUGE bowls. But everything was already in the bowl. Everything. And they did not have much meat. Not sure on noodles as I could not see that far into the bowl with all the accoutrements were piled on top already. And the location? Well, good luck. It's too bad the hole-in-the-wall exterior look doesn't translate into one of those hole-in-the-wall culinary ecstasy food experiences. But it does not.Not going to make a trip here again. And I'd probably hit one of the many other Vietnamese places within a quick drive distance instead of returning here if I were in the area again. I get no pleasure from not giving a glowing review, but I am honest in what I find. Disappointed with this place after all the hype.
