YC's Mongolian Grill

A nice clean Mongolian restaurant. Well stocked meats and veggies. Gather your protein, add your. Veggies, mix up a sauce and have them throw it on a flaming hot grill. Unlimited drinks, free ice cream. Definitely will stop again. Get the large bowl, you can cram enough in one bowl to more than avoid the unlimited bowl.

Stopped in for lunch Food: fresh, readily stocked, large variety of veggies, noodles, rice, soups and fresh meats and tofu, Alaskan cod after 5:00 pm. . Vanilla and strawberry yogurt for dessert. Service: I'm spoiled here. The staff is so attentive and helpful. Ready to answer questions and assist with sauce combinationsAmbiance: nice patio seating and lots of seating inside. The noise level is medium so you can have a decent conversation. Fun place for the family or groups of friends. Allergy friendly:the sauces are clearly marked and the grill is cleaned before they cook your food if you have allergies. Severe allergies use your own judgement. I must say that this will not be my last visit here. I felt so informed and FULL when I left! The guy at the front(Ben) was just amazing.

YC's is a local 30 year Phoenix chain with 3 locations: Scottsdale, Tempe, and Gilbert. It offers something for everyone, from carnivores to pescatarians to vegetarians. There are two bowl sizes. We opted for the large, since it was only $1.00 more than the small. The meal includes soup, frozen yogurt, and a refillable drink. You can also pay a small amount more for unlimited portions. They offer a military and senior citizen discount (age 55 and up). The helpful cashier answered all of our many questions and helped us pick out our sauces. The secret is to wear the disposable gloves and use the wax paper piece, which is provided, to smoosh down everything in your bowl, so it can be filled as much as possible.The chefs cook your meal within minutes. There's a small bar with wonton crisps, white rice, and soup.We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and were stuffed. We will definitely be back to this location.

Been coming to YC's for close to 15 years. So many options to make your bowls! Healthy protein packed meals and many different sauces to add to your bowls. Many types of noodles to choose from!

First and foremost, this establishment was well worth the drive for me! I love how you literally create your own bowl (& you are not limited to the amount of noodles you receive!!) and mixture of sauce. Staff was very helpful with suggestions on sauces. It's a great ambiance. Very clean. Staff was walking around making sure everything was fine with customers which made my heart smile. Shoutout to Ben for my sticker

I've been coming to different YC's locations for years now and they are still some of my favorite places to eat since my college days!It's been a while since I've hit one up and the first thing I notice is the price increase. Honestly the price jumps were quite noticeable but not enough to deter me from YC's at all. I still think you get a great deal- you can stack your bowl a lot with plenty left over to take home. You can see how much I was able to get with a "small" bowl and I still got to take some home!You can also get a side of soup, rice, a fountain drink, chips, and ice cream. I think you get plenty bang for your buck despite the price increases!Everything tastes great. There are lots of amazing veggie, meat, and sauce options to adorn your bowl with! My only big complaint is that the spicy beef soup is way too salty. Everything else is pretty good. Every single time I have gone to a YC's I've had exceptional service also. Everybody is so pleasant and it has been that way for years. They are glad to help with any questions or even building your bowl.This location is also very spacious, cleanly, and well-decorated. I had a great time with my grandmother here, it was her first time and she'd love to come back.Thanks YC's!

Absolutely love YCs! It's my go-to Mongolian Stir Fry place in Scottsdale. This visit we went for dinner. The dinner includes a drink and soft serve ice cream. The staff is always friendly and helpful, from helping you mix your favorite sauce, to greeting you with a smile when you walk in the door. The place was pretty busy and that was ok cause it allows you more time in line to decide all the meats, veggies, and style of noodles you want in your bowl. I also love the soup bar with wonton chips available to add to your meal. We will be back

The service was excellent! Staff available to help at every turn. Sauce combinations are good or you can make your own. The food selections are great and very tasty! I would high recommend!

YC's Scottsdale is a great restaurant with delicious food and excellent service. It is extraordinarily clean, neat and organized. The staff is very cordial, competent and efficient. Parking is plentiful as well. It was great for a 25-30 person family lunch party as the staff were fantastic and so helpful. We recommend this restaurant to all! -KEN (a Decades-long YC's customer)
