Yami Yami Japanese Restaurant

While attending Dragoncon this week we had lunch at Yami Yami. Pretty much you buy food by the pound so you can mix sushi pieces with any of the other foods they have available. Buffet style, you grab your styrofoam container and pour away. Reasonable price and you get a variety of food. Unfortunately, no pics were taken.

If your looking for a fully satisfying lunch for under $7 bucks for lunch start with the sides . The service was quick and they made the soup dress with all the ingredients . The food presenting and space was what made me choice them . The line was beautiful the food look fresh and tasty it very pleasant to look at .

The Chicken Ramen is a sleeper hit. I had to go back before the end of my trip to get it one more time. The broth is absolutely delicious with just a slight hint of spice. Don't worry if you don't like spice, I am a baby about spice and I was fine with it, it just adds an extra something. You get a large piece of chicken perfectly, cooked noodles, onions and spinach. It is so good!

This is inside the peachtree tower, there is parking but most are paid parking. You can access it easily from Marriott Marquis or Hyatt. There are quite a few different food options available in this food court area.You have quite a few options you can choose from. Variety of sushi, which all look fresh. Hot dishes and also a few sides.The meat is more on the sweeter side than what I like. But the teriyaki chicken was very tender. The other two meats were kind of hard to chew.Sushi like I said good variety but definitely not fancy sushi tasting. But gets the job done if you are craving some.Noodles are average and the egg roll lacked in taste.Don't get the green tea latte. Didn't taste good at all. Overall the prices are good especially if you are getting the lunch special but can't say it's anything special.

Surprisingly fresh for food court quality meals. Staff was super friendly and exploiters very well. Had the California roll & General Taso chicken. Both items were FRESH and well prepared.

Really appreciated how late Yami Yami stayed open during DragonCon. I don't know if the buffet thing is normal or not, this is my first time coming to this restaurant, but I thought it was pretty genius for hungry con goers - if not a bit expensive. Good sushi isn't cheap anyway, but it was kind of a shock and you didn't know how much it would be til checkout. Would've liked to see requirements about sanitizing and stuff before grabbing the same handle for everyone. But it is what it is. It was awesome to be able to finally try this after years of going to DragonCon, and loved how late they were open, plus the food was fantastic. I didn't have one bad item on my plate and I got a lot of different things. I think we'll definitely try to make this a staple for our DragonCon weekend from here on out.

Absolutely the best. We go to Atlanta every year and Yami Yami is always our destination for at least 4-5 meals.A great friendly place to get so many types of freshly prepared sushi!

Fried rice tasted like boiled rice, yum yum sauce is disgusting. Sushi is very low quality.

The food was good but the crab did not taste good they did not have crab ragoon. The staff were friendly to!

The Yami Yami staff is very friendly. However, when it comes to the food, nothing about Yami Yami is Japanese-made. The sushi was poorly crafted, and the miso ramen was made from the same broth of miso. My wife and I had to pick around to eat. Additionally, the rice was very old. Save your money !! Buy a pizza.
