We really like this place. It is pickup only (no dine-in option), but the advantage is that it's easy and quick to pick up on those low key nights. There's plenty of parking and a walk up window.The sushi is fresh and tasty. We've probably ordered food from here 3 or 4 times over the last 2 years, and the sushi has been consistently good everything. Sushi is a little bit of a pain if you can't eat gluten because you have to eliminate sushi with crunchy or fried ingredients and anything with crab (it's usually imitation crab which contains wheat). This place has several options that I could eat: Bagel Roll, Red Dragon Roll, Sushi appetizer (several pieces of nigiri), Caterpillar Roll (be careful if you're sensitive because sometimes eel sauce has gluten), Spicy Tuna Roll. The cucumber salad was bigger than usual, and my bf said it was delicious.We had not been here in a while, and we were so excited to try new things that we ordered too much!

TYami Sushi prepared soured bad (?spoiled) sushi. Called them and they stated they were willing to refund and could see my order said it but had to go through Uber Eats. Uber Eats refused to refund bad suishi and cheated me on a 15$ off promo discount. They kept saying order not eligible for any change or refund and to contact credit card. Chase Freedom card reps refused to address it at all referring me back to "merchant." This is a perfect scam with nobody responsible and everyone pointing fingers at everyone else. Im out 50$+ for spoiled food. Do NOT oder through UberEats and perhabs dont bother irdering from here at all. Buyer beware using Uber Eats as you'll have no recourse if anything goes wrong.

This restaurant was a very ehhhhh experience. The cucumber salad is loaded with fake crab and smelt horrible. Seven vegetarian rolls, but very basic options with the exception of avocado and cheese. The sweet potato tempura roll was somewhat bland. I might keep looking for my "go to" sushi spot.

Goodness. I didn't check yelp out before hand but found this on Uber eats and thought I would try it. Instantly regretted my $60 decision. I ordered two rolls and the sashimi appetizer. The rolls look good but Both were the most bland things I've ever tasted. I order sushi often. I have a few places that I order "average "sushi from which is great for takeout I assume this will be in that category, but I am the most underwhelmed I've ever been. And maybe the dining in experience is better but I'm not sure I will take the risk.

Pretty disappointed by the sushi here. Rolls were small, not well rolled, and not particularly flavorful. The miso soup was bad - just unpleasant, salty water... Note to self: skip Yami and pay a little more for something way better just down the street.

Japanese sushi restaurant closed for inside access with to-go window pick up serviceLocated next to Ardens Gardens in the shopping plaza behind the Chevron on North Decatur Road and Clairmont Road. The interior is closed and you can walk up or call ahead or order online. I ordered the 3 roll specials for lunch- the prices are increased, maybe due to Covid 's impact on their business . The sushi was ok tasty, calamari and spicy salmon. Comes with chop sticks and soy sauce packets. The lunch special includes a ginger salad... which consists of slices of iceberg lettuce, carrot spirals, and a ginger dressing.The food was ok. Service was quick but very impersonal. Think - ordering from a vending machine customer service... that is about the level of interaction you have.The prices are decent but I likely would not return here given the numerous other options around.

Altogether pretty decent, good for the price but the taste was pretty average across the board. Their tempura was a little plain other their tempura broccoli which was a little strange and soggy, their chicken tempura was interesting, they were these very long and thin strips.The salmon roll was a lot better than what you would get at a grocery store but the salmon itself didn't taste great, maybe not very fresh. Atmosphere inside the restaurant was pretty standard as well, the tables were strangely large but nothing else was really of note that would distinguish it from most other sit-down Japanese restaurants in terms of decor. Service was fine.Really not much else to say about it, it's okay and good for the price, if you're in the area, want Japanese food and aren't that picky then this would probably be a good place for you to drop by, but I don't think it's worth going far out of your way for. Originally I gave it 3 stars but on second thought it was a pretty satisfying meal for the price and it wasn't as disappointing as the average Japanese restaurants around where I live so I'm putting it at a 4; it's a pretty good deal for decent, tasty food.

First time visiting. Delicious sushi, great prices and friendly staff! Will definitely be coming back again. Sushi is fresh and love that they had the $15 for three rolls on UberEats. Food came in timely manner and well packed. Miso soup was quite delicious and their portions are large as well. Plus, their menu separates raw from cooked rolls, which is a great thing for pregnant women like my wife!

Very nice staff who are very polite... Probably the most affordable sushi I had in Atlanta what is that's good. It looks like it's family owned and when I approach the window to order he ran from the other side of the restaurant to take my order... Very polite... What restaurant do you have staff who actually run through the restaurant to serve if you faster. Besides that it's tucked away in a strip mall in the corner... The inside looks very traditional Japanese... As soon as they are opening indoor dining I will be there and check it out... But till then I will support of that little shop with my pick up orders.

Sushi wasn't the best passable. More like miso poop. Seafood ramen was ok. Pretty sure Gf and I both god food poisoning from sushi. . Can't reccomend.
