Yami Crab

My Son loves this place, he and his Lady frequent it (to go orders majority of the time)! He wanted to treat his Lovely Mom to some good seafood (first timer) ! I ordered 1 pound of crab legs, with 1 pound if black mussels, broccoli and corn and new potatoes (my sauce was medium spicy with garlic) sooo good! He ordered 2 p pounds crab legs, broccoli, corn and new potatoes! It was a to go order, Everything was delicious! It's located in McDonough in a plaza (freeeeeeeee parking)! The inside is nice, colorful but it was mid day, may check them out on a weekend

I ordered the hush puppies and lunch fried tilapia. The hush puppies tasted like the food service frozen hush puppies. They were still cold inside. I found it odd they were not homemade since they are highlighted as an appetizer. The tilapia was dark, watery, and fishy tasting. I asked the server about the fish not being edible. She stated she needed to let the manager know. The server came back and stated the manager told her I must not be use to their type of breading. It was very disappointing. I went with the intention of getting crab. When I arrived a little after noon and I was the only customer in the restaurant I did not feel comfortable getting the crab. I asked the server if the crab is fresh or frozen and she said she thought it might come there fresh. #stillinsearchofgoodseafoodinHenryCo

Honestly the food is really good. There is a wide selection of specialty drinks and they are fairly priced. The place is set up nicely and really something McDonough needs.The only reason I'm giving only 3 stars is because of the service. It was empty when we went and it was still really slow to get anything. Looking around at the staff everyone just seemed disengaged. I never seen soo many workers just sitting on their cellphones passing time before. We only seen our server when we asked for another server to get our server. No refills on sodas or just checking on us to make sure we are doing ok. I really wanted to like this place because the food was good but would probably not go back just because of the service.

The service!! Bre was soo sweet with a beautiful smile. It was empty but she checked our table refilled drinks without being asked and was just overall a great host. Thank you Bre!! The food was typical seafood boil no complaints their fries was hot and good.

The food & service was pretty good. I was excited about trying this place! Every time I drive by, the parking lot would be FULL!! I said "The food must be really good!!" It was! Service was good too! Try it out! You will not be disappointed!!

Went to Yami Crab on Father's Day and was impressed. The food came out hot and in a pretty timely manner. The seafood tasted fresh, and the seasoning was perfect! I would definitely like to try them again.

My husband and I stopped here after watching and enjoying the NASCAR race at Atlanta motor speedway! We've been craving delicious seafood, and this was the best place we could have chosen and so glad we did we highly recommend it!

My first time hearing about Yami Crab was this evening right before I got here and after dining here I'm pretty impressed. To begin, I must say I was on a date but this place is great for a solo outing or a group outing which I noticed a lot of on this particular evening. Also there is more than enough parking in the plaza parking lot as well. It was a bit packed so it took us maybe 10 mins to be seated but that's what you have to deal with pretty much anywhere on a Saturday night. Once seated we pretty much knew what we wanted so we didn't bother letting the waitress give us time to look over the menu. I'm not particularly big on the crab boils in the bags so I ordered Fried Calamari ($7) with a side of fries ($3). It actually didn't take as long as I thought it would for both me and my date's entrees to be brought out to us. What I was most impressed was the portion size of my basket lol may sound a bit greedy but they indeed give you a lot of pieces of calamari (15 if not more) as well as a good bit of fries. You get tartar sauce and cocktail sauce along with ketchup with this particular meal too. The calamari is well cooked, seasoned just right with a desirable crunch. The fries are too. With how nicely sized the portion is, you're definitely able to eat enough, get full and save some for later. I highly recommend Yami Crab. Great food and great prices in comparison to other places.

The Dungeness crab boil was good and had a lot of flavor. I would've liked more than 1 potato and 1 corn on the cob though. I can't recommend the raw oysters however. They seemed to have just be thawed out because there was a lot of water in the shell and absolutely no flavor in the oysters.

This was hands down the best seafood boil I've ever had. The food was amazing, full of flavor, and the spice level was just perfect.. Service was fast and curtious. The resturant was very clean and nice inside. I will definately come here again.
