Looking for a chill sushi joint? Then is place is for you! Mad we walked in there are giant panels of wood that give the room a wave shape which is very modern. We were seated in a booth and given plenty of time to order our food. My boyfriend and I shared everything. The tempura veggies were good but I wish they were cut smaller. The baked lobster roll was delicious. But the best things that we ate were the gyoza and katsu chicken. The gyoza were packed full of pork and cabbage and the dumplings noodle was perfectly balanced not too think or too thick. The katsu chicken was in smaller pieces and the breading was golden brown and the sauce. Oh my goodness the sauce! It was tangy but sweet but bbq-y it was well rounded but packed a bunch of of flavor. I cannot wait to come back and try more! See you soon!

Love Yama and just came for our second time. They have a special appetizer right now called Chicken Karaage and it's amazing. The sushi is consistently delicious and the service is so great. Our faves are the Lollipop roll and Tuna Lover. We also love their entrees. The short ribs are particularly awesome and our kids like the Orange Chicken.

Excellent experience here yesterday for lunch! Our server was Jake and he was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant is very lovely and nestled in Gainey Ranch. We started with some Kirin and hotSake. My friend ordered a rainbow roll and I had a ninja roll. The ninja roll was spicy yellowtail with more yellowtail on top, some jalapeño and sriracha. It was a little spicy and super tasty! The fish was fresh and delicious. I will definitely be back here soon!

Very clean establishment with kind employees and great sushi! Our toddler loves California rolls and this place did not disappoint. We ended up going at happy hour and to our surprise the California rolls were only four dollars! It was awesome. My husband ordered their ramen and he made a comment regarding how quality their pork chashu was and it was generous for the soup bowl. I ordered their baked lobster roll, it took a little longer as it's obviously baked, but it was SO TASTY. The lobster was yummy, the sauce wasn't overpowering, and I was overall pleased with my meal. It was all very filling for my family and I would recommend for sure.

I've visited this restaurant twice. Once for lunch, ordered a chicken katsu bento bowl. Presentation was good. Chicken just ok. Lunch did arrive quickly. Second time was for drinks and appetizers. First round was Karaage Chicken and sweet potato fries. Food arrived quickly. Outside of the chicken was beautiful, crunch was perfect. Problem is that we thought the chicken wasn't cooked all the way thru. Upon inspection, it was the fattiest and darkest piece of chicken ever flash fried. We did tell our server and he states since only 2 pieces were gone from the plate, he would take it off the bill. Fries were really good. We stopped at ordering anything additional and decided to go elsewhere. The restaurant is clean, decorated well, and maybe one or two tables were taken each time. Employees are nice. Restaurant closed on Monday.

Tried this place last night as we were in the area...was not disappointed! We ordered quite a bit for a group of 9. Mostly sushi rolls. Sushi was well-made and didn't have exorbitant amounts of rice (something I really dislike with the majority of sushi restaurants around here). We ordered a couple bowls of udon soups which with both decent, ramen as well. The sizzling teriyaki steak was pretty delicious. They have a happy hour menu from 2-6, but it's pretty limited. Either way, would definitely come here again!

The wait was not too long, and the service was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and satisfying, especially the nigiri, which was very fresh and melt-in-your-mouth. The Godzilla roll was also a highlight, with a nice crunch and spicy sauce. The tonkotsu ramen was ok, but it lacked depth and richness in the broth. The spicy salmon roll was nothing to write home about, just a basic roll. The beef steak katsu and takoyaki were both tasty and filling, with a crispy exterior and tender interior. The price was reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. I would definitely come back to try more dishes and enjoy the cozy atmosphere.

Worst ramen ever. Egg was cold inside, had a single mushroom, broth tasted like water, vegetables tasted frozen and thawed and bland. Even the green tea was bad, in lukewarm water.
