I am definitely going to be thinking about this place a lot!!! The food was beyond amazing and i sincerely hope that this place gets all the business they deserve. Their service was really quick and easy, and they were pretty nice too. I came with my mom and dad and we had their kafta kebob plate, chicken shawarma plate, and kafta kebob sandwich. Everything was so flavorful and diverse in taste and texture. I loved their hummus and the kafta too!!! Thank you guys so much :-)

Ordered for delivery from DoorDash and the food was delivered promptly fresh.Tabouleh salad: 5/5 Very simple, fresh and flavorful. Good sized portion as well. Very healthy option.Hummus: 4.5/5 Creamy and tasty. Served with a side of pita bread. Chicken shawarma sandwich: 3.5/5 Portion is nice and it was delivered nice and warm. Chicken was on the dry side and sandwich was missing something maybe the sauce wasn't flavorful to balance the dry chicken. Probably an item best to consume at the restaurant freshly when it's carved versus delivery which could dry out the chicken.

Yalla Habibi means come on darling or something along those lines. In my dictionary it spells delicious with great service! Came in once to get a carry out and loved it so much ended up coming again. Staff is nice, menu is great, and food is delicious. In particular I loved baba ganoush which is likely the best I had. Hummus is good and bean plate for appetizers is delicious!!!! Ambiance is cozy, as it is small place. But well worth it!!!

It means "let's go, baby" in Arabic.Lebanese restaurant on 6th Ave in downtown San Diego.I was meeting a friend there for dinner.Pretty good size menu. We both ordered the lamb plates. Super well prospered and presented.Looked like counter service, but the very nice young man actually waited in us.If you want legit Mediterranean food, give this place a go.

Great service and food. Our shawarma was freshly made, juicy and delicious. They also have an outside table on the weekends for a quick bite. Simple and wonderful, nice place to stop for a bite.

My family ate here twice during our time staying in the area. It was easily walkable from where we were staying near the convention center, casual enough for our two rowdy kiddos, and the food was tasty. Service was pretty straightforward, no frills, tight, but cute space, halal Lebanese. All in all perfectly adequate.

Ordered this late night from door dash with my boyfriend on the weekend and it was very flavorful! Since we got it over door dash, unsure of the service and ambiance of the actual place but everything was flavorful and really good! I'd definitely order from here again. I loved all the sides that came with the entree.

I am in town for an academic meeting at the convention center and spending enough days in SD that I wanted to mix it up a little and not just have big sit down dinners with way too much food and drinks. I saw some decent reviews for this modest middle eastern kabob and shawarma joint a few blocks off the main drag in the gaslight district so I walked over and gave it a try. It was,....just okay. I got the lamb kabob platter ($22) and swapped out the rice for babaganosh which was appreciated and I also order the four piece kibee starter ($13). I'm usually a big fan of properly made lamb/beef stuffed bulgar kibee unfortunately these were more like fried corn dogs and lacked any of the hardy football shaped bulgar kernels I usually associate with kibee. This was just heavy and lacking in any genuine flavor. The lamb kabob on my platter was a lot of very small pieces of lamb that were clearly marinated but very cooked through and lacking the juicy medium rare lamb flavor I was actually seeking. The babaganoush was smoky and decent. Overall, it was just meh. Sorry but I expected much better. Nothing special. Plus the location next to the Hustler Club seemed seedier than what I was expecting. Hard pass for me.

Yalla Habibi ("Let's go, my dear") is a new mom-and-pop casual eatery in the Gaslamp Quarter dishing out Lebanese cuisine. The inside seating capacity was limited to less than 20 customers. It looked like a husband and wife team ran the show with a few cooks assisting in the kitchen. The staff at the service counter may have still been in training during my visit as one lady seemed to be unfamiliar with how to efficiently locate items on the register to ring up.At the time, sandwiches, bowls, and plates were the menu categories with about ten choices in each one. Appetizers, salads, fries, sides, and desserts have been added since then. I chose a Beef Kebab Plate for my meal. It consisted of marinated beef cubes with a side of tahini sauce, pickles, rice, hummus, salad, and pita bread.The salad was served first on a separate plate with lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, lemon, vinegar, and olive oil. Nothing stood out about this Middle Eastern-style side salad as it was standard fare. The beef cubes were very savory from being well-seasoned. The hummus and sesame-based tahini sauce provided additional flavor as dips for the pita bread slices. Overall, the food was executed at a high level for a small operation.

Having been born and raised in New York City, I do love a really good Shawarma! Now that I live in Honolulu, Shawarmas and other Mediterranean food is pretty hard to come by. I found this place near a conference I was attending and thought this exactly what I want to eat! I really enjoyed my chicken Shawarma - the meat and sauce was delicious and the service was so good!
