Yalda Persian & Middle Eastern Restaurant

We went to Yalda for dinner with friends, and I can't wait to go back. It is a beautiful restaurant and the staff are amazing. Our server helped us decide what to order and how much to order. We shared everything at the table, and it was such a great experience. Everything was delicious!I would highly recommend going for a date night!

Yalda is very reminiscent of another Middle Eastern restaurant at Avalon in Alpharetta...sure you know the one. They have two locations, Sandy Springs and Westside. We visited the Sandy Springs location. We came here to celebrate our anniversary, as I have been wanting to check this place out for a while now. I am glad we came. My boyfriend really liked it! Their menu is extensive from "spreads" like fried eggplant, hummus, grilled eggplant, Persian yogurt to all different kinds of kabobs or stews. Meat choices include beef, lamb, chicken, fish, salmon. You can also get wraps if you prefer, or veggie plates if you don't eat meat. There are a variety of salads too like beet, mediterranean, heirloom tomato. Lots to choose from, and you can choose fries, rice. They have lots of different sauces too, like harissa which is my fav, garlic, tzatziki, but just know they are an additional cost.I got the salmon with cherry rice, and both were very good. I did feel the salmon was a bit overcooked, but otherwise tasty. My boyfriend really loved his meal of chicken and steak. The bread was soft and delish. It came with the usual tarragon levaes, olives, radish slices, cucumber, and cheese. I got a fancy cocktail and my boyfriend had a mocktail that was refreshing. The atmosphere definitely screams "date night". I will say parking was hard for us, and we ended up valeting. Prices were fair.

We went to Yalda for a close friend's birthday! Overall we had a good time. The overall ambiance was really good, I love the dim lights vibe. The service was excellent too, our server went above and beyond on any of our requests! The drinks are really mid . My friends ordered watermelon margarita , peach margarita and they tasted nothing like it. We asked the server to change the drinks and she did. Aperol spritz was mid too.Food was above average nothing outstanding ,we have had better for the money we spent. The food lacked flavor. Appetizers were better than the main course. Loved their feta cheese. Their hot sauce is to die for, that's one thing I would 100% recommend to enhance the flavor. The server brought out complimentary dessert for the birthday and it was a pomegranate ice-cream which was very refreshing and tasty. Overall wouldn't mind to come again! But for special occasion I don't think so!

I went to this restaurant with some co-workers. The parking is located in a nearby deck, most spots close seem to be non vacant already. But close walk. The restaurant is very decorated and the staff are nice. The food came out very fresh. The pita bread was baked very well. I ordered the lamb with saffron rice. It was good, but maybe cooked a tad longer than what I asked for, no big deal though. The portion was hefty, so definitely a bang for the buck.

The sautéed vegetables were equally impressive, cooked to perfection and adding a delightful crunch and freshness that complemented the lamb beautifully. We tried this restaurant for the first time for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. Not only the ambiance looks great but the food is also delicious. We ordered some drinks and three different spreads to try. Their bread was soft and fresh and the different eggplant spreads were very good too. I ordered their chicken shish kebab that comes with saffron rice and some vegetables. I really liked their homemade hot sauce and tzatziki sauce. Both were really good. Below are photos of the food so you can see more. Our server was great too. She was nice and service was quick. I would definitely come back to try more items from the menu next time I'm in GA.

Yalda is one of our favorite restaurants in the Perimeter area. Great Persian food, super cool dining room with a relaxing vibe, and a really friendly wait staff to take care of everything...Yalda is quickly becoming one of our favorite spots for dine in and take out.

We saw the great reviews of this place and wanted to try it out. The atmosphere is very authentic and welcoming... they have an indoor and outdoor dining area with chill lounge music. Our server was very friendly and accommodating with great advice on what to try. We had the cheese appetizer and the roasted eggplant which were very good. I had the falafel platter and my sons had the Shawarma and it was all delicious. We finished off with the lava cake and pomegranate cheesecake. We will definitely be back soon.

Lauren the bartender was great and attentive. Juan was great with checking in when she was assisting others. I had a great Croft Tawny Port. I was staying nearby and walked over because I had been been wanting to check them out since they opened. Thankfully I arrived and had beaten the crowd. I was one of maybe 3 people at the bar from about 4pm until 5pm. Things picked up and as more servers arrived to work the crowd grew and the dining room became louder with people filing in. I did go looking for a Happy Hour because I had just traveled in and already had lunch but unfortunately NO HAPPY HOUR. The little bar bite snacks were great to nibble on during my second glass of Port.

Amazing Persian food ! Everything tastes delicious and fresh. Persian hot tea is so refreshing. And ambience and service was top class !
