Lately, I've been on a bit of a Middle Eastern kick, exploring various spots around town from Lebanese to Persian, and so far, Yalda has been my top pick! I love the balance of elegance and casual comfort at this place. I visited the Howell Mill location, though I've also been to the one in Sandy Springs. The food really stands out compared to other places I've tried over the years, and the menu offers a great variety of options. I went for the Beet Salad, Salmon Kabob, Kefta Kabob, and a couple of appetizers (can't remember the names), and everything was absolutely delicious. The service? Top-notch!One thing I especially like is how they handle the check--you simply scan a QR code and take care of it yourself, which makes things super convenient. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Me and my wife came to Yalda for a date night. We had heard about Yalda for quite some time, but were never able to make it out. We came to the location in West Midtown, but they do have one other location in Sandy Springs. Yalda is a Persian establishment. We started with some appetizers and some drinks. We got the Za'atar labneh, the cheese kibbeh, and the chicken bites. The labneh was so good. You can add lamb as well, but we just kept as is. It comes with some nice hot bread to dip in. The cheese kibbeh was good, but nothing too special. It was recommended to us by our server. At the time, it was a new dish they were trying out. The chicken bites were really good, but they did taste just like our main course, so I wouldn't have gotten both, had I known. I can't remember the drinks we got, but they were really good. For our main, we shared the chicken barg. It was so flavorful and so juicy. We honestly were not able to finish it, cause we had so many appetizers. I think it would've been good for us to just get two appetizers instead of 3. But I do recommend getting the chicken barg, it was so good. Yalda is a great place to go for a date night or even to just go with some friends. The vibes inside are nice and a little elevated for a more romantic feel. It's a little expensive here, so just keep that in mind. Not outrageous, but just more than normal. The service was a little slow, but it was a Friday night, so that may have been the reason why. We had Ubered there, so I'm not too sure about the parking situation, but I do believe they had someone validating parking at the front. I would just call ahead of time to make sure. I would definitely come back to Yalda. I may even check out the Sandy Springs location next.

SUCH AMAZING FOOD! My friend and I both ordered the salmon kabob and the salmon was cooked to perfection. The portions are also huge so you definitely will have enough for leftovers. Also, the staff were so kind and considerate about food allergies. They made sure we felt comfortable about what we were ordering and detailed everything that was in each of the dishes. I already can't wait to go back!

Came for a dinner for four and had a great time! The staff was friendly and helped us with parking validation right away. The inside is beautiful but I did find it a bit noisy at time with the open floor plan. Our server was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. I got the marinated beef tenderloin it was incredible. Perfectly cooked and fantastically flavored. For dessert I tried the ice cream sandwich it was super unique! A huge portion after a large meal so I was happy to share it. Overall great experience and I would go back.

Check out Yalda's second location. It's located in the Osprey in West Midtown. What a beautiful resto with multiple spaces: indoor, upstairs, covered indoor/outdoor dining area, bar, bar area from patio! Just well done! Love the space!!! Food was delicious. Ivy was amazing and so helpful. We started with the hummus topped with lamb sharma. The crispy duck leg is a must try. The lamb chops were delicious. The fish of the day was a branzino. Atmosphere is a plus and food amazing!!!!!!! They validate your parking if you park in the garage.

It's official, I've found my new favorite brunch spot in Atlanta!Me and a friend, who was visiting from out of town, decided to stop by Yalda for Sunday brunch. Me being a fan of Persian cuisine, I had previously dined at the Dunwoody location for dinner last year, and it was amazing. I was excited to try their brunch and as you can tell by my introduction sentence, it did not disappoint. When we arrived, my friend was immediately impressed with the aesthetics of the restaurant and we were seated right away since the restaurant wasn't full (we arrived shortly after the restaurant opened). Our waiter did a wonderful job explaining all the options on the menu, and since there were two of us, we ordered a variety of items to share and indulge in.Our oder included the Sossis Bandari, Tahini Toast, and the Brunch Toast (did I mention we were hungry?); she also had the Greek coffee. Everything was fresh and delicious; I could literally feel my taste buds dancing. If I had to choose a favorite, it would be the Tahini Toast--a delightful combination of French toast (great portion size), maple syrup, and tahini (which added a pleasant twist). I would go back just for that. I left Yalda not only full but thrilled to have found my favorite brunch spot in the city. I'm grateful to be within walking distance from this location, so I will definitely be returning soon.

Yalda was a great experience! I really enjoyed the Hummus with Pita. It was very filling appetizer. The chicken Kabob was delicious! It was my first time trying the cheese Kibbeh and the baklava and I personally wasn't a fan of the dish but there were no issues with it. I do wish the cocktails were stronger however, i would definitely return to Yalda.

Firstly, I must note that my husband adamantly disagrees with my rating--he would have given Yalda an extra star. Personally, I rated the overall experience at 3 stars, primarily due to the issues with service and seating arrangements. Here's why:We arrived promptly for our 6 PM reservation but were not seated until closer to 6:30 PM. The small entrance area provided no comfortable place to wait, making the delay feel longer. Despite having a reservation, it seemed to have little impact on our wait time. When we were finally seated, we found ourselves at a tiny table near the entrance, where we had been standing for 25 minutes. I wasn't thrilled about being so close to the door, especially with a crowd of people congregating nearby--it definitely affected the ambiance. However, Yalda's redeeming qualities were its food and cocktails. The traditional Mediterranean dishes were exceptional. We started with their hummus platter and enjoyed the Chicken and Salmon kabobs--the flavors were outstanding! To cap off the meal, we indulged in their delicious espresso martinis, which were a perfect end to the evening.

This is a pretty decent Persian food spot. I would say you get a good sized portion for the money and they do appetizers and spreads very well. It's been slightly inconsistent but I will say overall good. I like their drinks especially their pomegranate ginger beer mocktail. The vibes inside are nice and I like how you can sit outside. I'll say sometimes the service is slow but it really depends on how busy it is. There's parking in the osprey deck and they validate it!

I've come here twice, and each time I've loved it! Once for brunch and another for dinner. It's soooooooooo beautiful on the inside and if that's not enough the food is fresh and delicious. The first time I went service was alright. The next time, it was amazing and we had a huge party. Everything is flavorful, the cocktails are strong and it's just a VIBE. I was more inclined to take photos of the decor than the food. I'd like to re-visit and work my way through the menu.
