Located in the Hmart in doraville, it's at the far end and it's such a cute little shop. Korean desserts and beverages and waffles are available here. Called aboong or taiyaki in Japanese, they make fresh fish waffles and bubble waffles and give you ice cream. Service is quick and friendly and I enjoyed. They have a couple of different options of things available and it's nice part of their food court there.

A small store that's so mighty, it is definitely a place of wonders and taste. This place was recommended by my brother because it was one of his favorite places to have a nice bungeobang after shopping._________________________________________________________PARKING |[ Parking is not all that bad. It's in the H-mart plaza in Doraville so there is plenty of space, but when it gets busy, there are times it is hard to find parking.]_________________________________________________________EXTERIOR & INTERIOR |[The shop is located inside the H-Mart in the food court area. Pretty easy to find once you are inside.]_________________________________________________________IS IT CLEAN? |[This is a food court restaurant, so don't expect a full-on restaurant setting.]_________________________________________________________FOOD & DRINKS |[ This place is more of a snack and treat place that makes fresh bungeobang, and I have to say, we need more places that sell bungeobang because this one instead of taking the cake makes them. I am always happy eating them and the whole batch that I get is just fresh to where I savor the taste eat time while it melts in my mouth. ]_________________________________________________________SERVICE |[The service is sweet and simple and helpful to the fullest!]_________________________________________________________OVERALL |[ Like I said these stores do not get enough recognition for their talent, success, and taste and need to be shown more because these owners put a lot into their store and food. I am beyond impressed by them and will always find a way of ordering a quick corndog to please the craving.]

This novelty is worth at least one try, or a try once in a while. We'd just finished a rather modest food court lunch (which, these days, even 'modest' costs $13 a person without drinks!), when my wife saw this stall. They're famous, she says - which means we're going to try it, no questions asked. We decided to have the 10-piece 'fish' with half azuki bean and the other half a sort of cream custard. It takes about 5+ minutes to prepare, and they come out piping hot. "Voluminous" for the $9 it costs it is not (almost a buck a piece!) - but everything is expensive these days! Hard to pick a favorite flavor as each has its merits and its place - I mean, can you pick a favorite between Strawberries Romanoff and Crêpes Suzette? It was fun and tasty - what more could you ask for for $10?

After many years of meaning to try Yaki Yaki every time I'm at H Mart, I finally did and was a bit disappointed. I got the Aboong with coffee ice cream. The taiyaki itself was just OK in taste. I wasn't a fan of the toppings and the gummies got hard very fast. The ice cream consistently was good but could be more flavorful. Overall, definitely favor the taiyaki ice cream from Tea Leaf and Creamery

Mmmm so good and made-to-order fish waffles or walnut shaped cookies filled with sweet red bean filling or custard. For my first visit, ordered the 5-pc walnut shape cookie with red bean filling for $4.99 ... honestly you should order the 10-pc b/c it's only a couple dollars more at $6.99. Be patient b/c it's just one lady working and you can tell she's working as hard as she can -- the wait will be worth it when you bite into the piping hot waffle cookies. So yummy. They're located on the far right side of the Super H Mart food court if you're facing the food stalls. They also serve shaved ice and ice cream.

Happened to see this in the food court area of H mart while shopping. We ordered the 10 yaki's for less than $10. You can choose up to two flavors ... custard, red bean, Nutella, chocolate. We opted for half and half custard and red bean. My favorite is the custard. It is on the lighter side, where as redbean is more rich and sweeter. These are made fresh and takes about five minutes customer service is fast and friendly. We loved it so much came back before heading out of Atlanta.

its hard to find a place that makes taiyaki well (or even makes it..at all) and this place does it amazingly every time! this is my go to for taiyaki - the fish bread with custard (or red bean) filling. the balance of breadiness to cake-iness is perfection. the custard is piping hot. UGH. yum.

Cute, low key dessert place inside Hmart. Food: variety of items from sweet fish bread (pictured) to ice cream to egg waffle ice cream sets. Recommend getting the fish bread with Red bean and custard filling! It comes piping hot so be careful when initially eating! Service: took about 10-15 minutes from ordering to getting item. Patrons are given a number/food delivered to where patrons are seated. Ambiance: the store itself was clean and organized but the general hmart cafeteria needs work/cleaning. No one does any of the cleaning and patrons are left to clean themselves (although there are no cleaning supplies nearby).
