This place was ok. Food-court style setting. The sheng jian bao was good and I liked the thicker outside wrapper. The xiao long bao was fine but quite expensive for what it is. I think this is also because recently my sister got frozen xiao long bao at Costco and this sort of reminded me of it. Plus this place sells frozen xiao long bao too. Because of that it didn't feel special and each dumpling was a little small. The jian bing was my fav and not something I've had before so I can't quite say if it's good, but it was good to me. It was crispy and flavorful which I liked a lot.Service is extremely minimal. You order on a touchpad and then they call your name. It's almost funny that there's an option for tip when you order yourself, bus yourself, and even grab wooden chopsticks, napkins, and chili oil yourself. Not a place I'd go back to, personally

I've been meaning to try XCJ (aka Mila) for a while and wanted to see if it's worth ordering their items frozen. Parking was a little difficult as it's mostly downtown street parking. I've seen some reviews state there's parking in the Soma garage but then there's also been lots of fines given out. Inside the food court is XCJ and a poke place - there's lot of seating as there's only two restaurants. You order from XCJ on their two iPads and the dishes are made right after so it can be a while.Sheng jian bao (pan fried pork dumplings): the bao's are crunchy on the outside and full of soup on the inside. I don't think I've ever had so much soup inside a bao. The soup was meaty and delicious which was nice. The only downside was the the pork inside was rubbery so there was a weird texture when eating the bao.Zhajiang noodle (sweet and savory noodles): The noodles were of good quality but the dish as a whole was way too sweet. It was off putting and I couldn't finish it. Overall, just an okay spot.

Rating: 3.5/5.I stopped by this place for a quick dinner with a friend. It is inside a food court shared with 2 other businesses, and is on the bottom floor of a high rise. Ambience: no-frills take out spot, seating is not a problem as there are multiple indoor and outdoor tables. Noise level is moderate chatter.Food: I tried the lu rou fan (braised pork belly rice bowl) and the xiao long bao (soup dumpling). Both of them are fairly standard and what you would expect. The price is very reasonable, fairly cheap compared to other downtown restaurants.Parking: there is free parking in the garage of the building for up to 1 hour, and free stree parking nearby.

Decided to try this place after seeing so many ads for their frozen XLB. It's a little shop by some apartments, with a food court vibe. You order via iPad, and they'll call your number when the food is ready. There are a handful of tables but I mostly saw people taking out.The XLB have a good amount of soup and filling. The dough is pretty thin too; I would say thinner than Dough Zone but not quite as thin as Din Tai Fung. The jian bing was good, loved the crunch, but there was a bit too much mayonnaise for me. Dan dan mian was tasty as well, nice and numbing. The star here though, is the sheng jian bao. It had so much soup bursting out with the first bite. The bao was not too thick and perfectly pan fried. This is the must have item if you come here, and the only thing that would have me coming back. Everything else is ok, but expensive for what it is, or you're able to find better versions of it elsewhere.Tl;dr: sheng jian bao is a 5/5, everything else is good but a little expensive for what it is

I'm so glad I found a place that has Sheng jian bao!! The vibe is definitely more casual and suited well for take out, but we did sit at one of the small tables here.We got an order of the Sheng jian bao and a jiangbing with Chinese sausage. The food was delicious, especially the Sheng jian bao!!! They were very hot and filled with a ton of soup. The jianbing was tasty too, it had good flavors and I liked the combination of Chinese sausage with the Chinese donut. I did feel like the food was pretty expensive given the portions, but I haven't found other Sheng jian bao in the area that I like so I'll keep coming back here. Highly recommend trying this spot if you're looking for tasty Sheng jian bao!

Wow, everything here is so expensive. Went here wanting to try their signature pan fried dumplings (sheng jian bao) but it's 12.99 for just 5 pieces (where I could get an entire meal somewhere else). It seems like bad marketing/visually that they only put 5 in a rectangular box that would fit 6... so it just looks really stingy with that empty spot in the box, no? So I nixed that idea and got the Jian Bing instead. It was tasty, and warm, maybe looking big in volume due to the large wrap but overall still just a small bite in actual quantity when condensed. Special if you've never had anything like it before but in concept it's really nothing crazy. Expensive for what a street snack like that would cost normally, but I guess in America you can charge whatever you want?

This popular and viral dumpling place lives up to the hype. Sheng jian baos- truly are the best item. Each is delicately made and seasoned. If you're going to order one dish, this is it. Xiao long baos- not bad! Given how these are serviced in a to go container, these aren't bad! Not the best I've ever had but they certainly do the trick. Maybe a little pricey but not terrible This is in a casual food court style place so you can have fun with mix and matching food from other spots.

The buns are embarrassingly bad for a place that specializes in sheng jian bao & xlb. Go to the Din Tai Fung or Dough Zone nearby to get much cheaper and higher quality buns.SHENG JIAN BAO - 1/5The buns tasted very much like they were frozen. The pork filling was mushy and the pork quality was so bad. It also contains a LOT of soup which I can understand why it might be appealing to people, but authentic sheng jian bao generally contains a lot less soup from the gelatin than XLB.

Sheng jian bao is amazing, loved how juicy and flavorful they were! I'd definitely buy these if they were a frozen good! Got Dan Dan noodles as well and they were tasty but a bit too greasy for my liking. It was a bit of a wait for the food and limited interaction with the staff since you're ordering on a tablet then pick your food up when they call your name/number. They share a space with Just Poke so there's a good amount of seating to enjoy your food

Xiao Chi Jie is in a pretty small food court on the outskirts of downtown Bellevue. It was pretty empty when I went on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered their soup dumplings, their pan fried baos, and Dan Dan noodles. Their soup dumplings were pretty good, pretty sure they just reheat the frozen mila dumplings, but delicious all the same. Weird thing is they only provide vinegar and chili oil, no soy sauce. The pan fried baos were okay, the dough was dense but thin (I prefer soft and fluffy). The soup and filling were good and flavorful though. Be careful when eating these! The soup will shoot out everywhere lol. Dan Dan noodles were okay as well. Spicy and good flavor, but the noodles had a weird texture... kinda like they were stale? Overall, would only come again for the soup dumplings. Everything else is just okay at best.
