Wuhu Tea & Deli

Customer service and quality of their drinks make this shop an easy 5 stars! I also love that it's obviously a staple for SDSU students, providing fresh, quality grab and go meals. The owners are very welcoming and kind, and our boba drinks were brewed to perfection!

Since I began working nearby, I've visited here a few times to grab lunch for the day. Everything I've tried so far has been amazing. And I've tried items from their deli sandwiches (the Wuhu), to several of their homemade dinners, and their breakfast. The owner and her daughter are always very friendly/welcoming/personable. I enjoy our talks while waiting for my order. I think they're wonderful.

Super nice people and huge variety of things. Love having this place on campus. Nice atmosphere and seating. I got the matcha and my boyfriend got bubble tea. Sandwiches, fresh made pastas and soups.

Updated 4.5/5It's hot af today and honestly I'm super stoked that there's an another boba shop that's within walking distance to SDSU. An actual boba shop that focuses on drinks, not like other places where they serve food and offer boba as a side-thought. I know there's another boba shop on the other side of campus apparently but I've read the reviews and I'm not in a rush to visit that one yet. Maybe somedayI'm not a boba expert but I frequent plenty of boba shops in SD and wherever I travel. Being Asian-American, I basically get boba 1x maybe 2x a week lol ANYWAYSThey're in their soft opening stage rn, decor is a bit barebones but it's decent. I imagine once students move in for Fall and word gets out, there will be a lot more buzz. I got a Thai tea w/ boba (boba was an extra .50c) and adjusted the ice level & sweetness both to 75%. The boba texture was a pleasant soft & chewy mouthfeel and had sweetness on its own. I've had better boba but Wuhu's is good. 4.5/5Tea flavor was deep and not too sweet. I also appreciate the visible condensed milk! That's how u know they did their homework on Thai tea preparation 5/5The service was good! Admittedly they're super new on the block and again, barely any customers yet so maybe I was treated extra special but I appreciated how fast they made my order and they told me that if it's unsatisfactory, they'll remake it. I took a sip and it was fine UPDATE: 8/17/22 I ordered today and service was friendly and fast. They do indeed have alternative milk such as coconut and oat. I don't remember if there was an additional charge but yeah! They should update their menu, as I did have to ask for it but at least they have that base covered. Rating has been updated as much as I'd like to give a 5/5 I think I'll still need some time to try out their other stuff. They're pretty solid for what they're currently offering but there's not much that sets them apart from other competing shops in SD.

When walking in, the vibe of the place is relaxing. Definitely a solid place to study and hang out with friends. Tables and Chairs are still a bit barebones but they informed me that they're going to add additional furniture.The server was very friendly and super helpful when asking about house recommendations. They were the only one working so the drinks took a minute to come out but they still did a good job considering we ordered 5-6 drinks back to back.As for the drink. I ordered a Coffee Milk Tea with 50% Sugar. This is where my impression falls. The drink was very watered down and had no flavors of coffee or tea. The watered down flavor was also consistent when trying my friends drinks as well. I'm not too sure if it was watered down because we got an older brewed batch of coffee/tea since we came at the end of the day or if they aren't concentrating their tea/coffee enough. I see a lot of potential for this place to boom (especially compared to the other boba shop near SDSU campus). I would go back again to give it a second try at an earlier time to see if it really was a bad/old batch or if it's just another forgetful boba shop.

Don't go here if you're in a hurry. We stopped in and ordered three drinks. There were two people who each ordered a drink right before us, but there was only one person working and we waited twenty minutes. The drinks were four stars, the boba was slightly hard, the tea was good.

We stopped by since we were in the area and the location took us by surprise. It's like a little deli inside of a small convenience store. The staff was very nice, and the sandwiches were pretty good too!

My absolute favorite place on campus! I am currently living very close to Wuhu Tea and Deli and feel like I visit them at least five times a week. They have stuff for everyone. They offer amazing choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You have to try their breakfast sandwiches!! So good! And their boba, there is so much to choose from its like heaven. Aside from their amazing food and beverages, the owners are the sweetest ever. They always make my day every time I come in and it is always so great to sit and talk to them for a few. In general, the place is super cute and they've got amazing food, drinks, variety and service. I absolutely love Wuhu!

This place is amazing. Today when I went they had pizza!!!!! It was so good and sooooo affordable. All their food is amazing. Thanks WUHU!!! I love it!!!

By far this is my favorite place on campus. Not only are the owner and her daughter the sweetest people ever and quite possibly the highlight of my day whenever I go in, but their food is incredible!!! Went tonight for a quick bite and left with a delicious beef kabob with potato curry and saffron rice. This place ROCKS and will be missed once I graduate
