I reached out to the owner on Facebook as to ask a question about their Seattle Restaurant Week, not only did she respond quickly but she was very kind. When we arrived, she noticed me waiting and took my order in such a friendly, sweet manner. She also remembered me by my Facebook picture and was an absolutely lovely person to talk to. It was really cool to watch her roll up my beef injera, which is also really huge that she had a pizza plate to roll it up in. I unfortunately didn't get the potatoes that comes with it but I got some beets and potatoes, which were heavenly and gives me an excuse to come back to get some more. The strawberry and pineapple lemonade drink she made was absolutely delicious and I hope she puts it on the menu cause it is just too good to be a limited item. A friend told me to try Ethiopian food and I am grateful to have WUHA be my first experience. Do yourself a favor and come try this place out!

Growing up with my dad making Ethiopian, I always crave it. This place, little hole in the wall, and AUTHENTIC! Aunties in the back make the 'wet' fresh and the injura taste like it just came off the hot stove! 10/10 recommend! The aunties even plated the food when they brought it out family style!

Welcome to one of the businesses at the NEW Spice Bridge Food Hall in Tukwila. WUHA Ethiopian has one of my favorite African foods - injera bread, aka spongy bread. They serve them in a roll version vs. what you typically see in a restaurant with different dollops of food on the spongy bread. Generous spread of sauce and veggies fill the bread, rolled up, and ready to eat. It was perfect and delicious too! We also bought a baklava without nuts. When we were there, only one person seems to be working, but it was in the middle of the afternoon when it wasn't too busy. She prepped our food and was our cashier too. She was a very kind and sweet lady, and was extra appreciative that we drove half an hour to buy from them. This Food Hall strive to support refugees and immigrants by offering kitchens and retail spaces for them to start a small business. Currently, 8 businesses are sharing time and use of the facilities, 3 days each per week with Mondays closed. Check the Spice Bridge website for details. This new hall is very clean and well organized. There are plenty of signs/menus to guide you on your food adventure. There are also plenty of hand sanitizer! Dining is available at the outside seats/benches.

This eatery is located inside the SpiceBridge - Food Innovation Network and it offers a blend of Ethiopian and American foods, served more quickly than a full-sized restaurant. I ordered the Beef Injera Roll and it was really good. I have had Ethiopian food many times and this one is unique. I like the fact that the flavor of the meat and seasoning is not too heavy so you can taste the flavor of the injera. It also comes with a lightly seasoned salad. The Chef is very friendly and very enjoyable to talk to. There are other dishes on the menu that I would love to try in the future. This is a place to be returned.
