The food is good. The service is what you'd expect for an order at the counter restaurant. I have had the masala dosa and rava dosa and enjoyed both. The rava dosa is very oily but that's what makes it so crispy and delicious. I found the sambar so-so and spicy, but I'm pretty sensitive when it comes to spice. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because everything is served in styrofoam. In this day and age that's pretty shocking.

I am giving them 2 star not for their food but for their atmosphere and especially cleanliness. This place definitely can be cleaner, especially the entrance door. So gross, I hate touching it. But the dosa is very good and price is ok. I go for the food, not the atmosphere or ambience, which is completely lacking.

Quick service. Personnel taking out order were able to describe dishes I was not familiar with. Absolutely delicious Indian food.

We were too lazy to prepare our breakfast on Saturday so we waited till 11am for the restaurant to open and get some hot Indian breakfast like we do back in India. We went in as soon as they opened and it is order at counter kind of a set up. We went with idli, dip vada, Puri and masala, onion chilli uttapam, Mysore masala dosa, Chola batura and coffee. Everything arrived one after the other steaming hot in few minutes. The dosas are a must here. The onion chilli uttapam was our favorite and so were Mysore masala dosa and chole batura. I would suggest to skip the idli and dip Vada. Idli seemed not fresh and didn't taste good. Vada was hard as a rock and didn't seem fresh either. The coffee here is a filter coffee and was decent. The prices are very expensive and we shelled out $70 for our simple breakfast. We would like to come again but not soon.

Food is semi-decent. But beware it's spicy and even after telling them at order time that you prefer low spice level.. they will say "ok" but when the food comes out they will say "oh it's ore cooked... so... ". Poor service and even poor hygiene / cleanliness. There are open large trash cans just there in the dinning area. Filled with trash / food. Probably best to take out if you're craving semi decent South Indian food.

The good: Ok folks, the verdict is in. We ordered Paper Masala Dosa with coconut chutney and samber. Made fresh, Timely, and the sauces are consistent in both flavor and quality. The bad: tables appeared to be cleaned but we're extremely sticky. Fortunately we had our own sanitary wipes to wipe down 2x. The ugly: we get it, you close at 2:30pm to prep for dinner at 5:30pm. We shouldn't see trash cans in the middle of the dining area. Overall cleanliness can be improved. Let's go!

I recently visited this restaurant and I was very disappointed that there was no one to take orders. I made my presence known, and after a long time a man came outside but did not take my order. He was serving those who were seated. Obviously they are short handed. I can sympathize with them if this was a rare occurrence - like an employee called in sick (just trying to understand). If this is a regular or frequent occurrence, I wouldn't want to go there. It was hard for me to wait for a long time just to get someone to pay me attention, and to take my order. I considered walking out but I was very hungry, and I still hoped that I would get food there.I used to love this restaurant. They used to arrange various chutneys and yogurt outside, to go with the food we ordered. Now they give just one small container of chutney with the dish we order. It is disappointing. I have gone there a few times even after they made this change. They no longer have the lunch thali (plate) and I don't understand why. This restaurant is no longer the nice restaurant I used to visit.Their masala dosa still tasted as good as before, but I was not happy that there was no one to even take my order. I may not want to go there again. I would rather go to a buffet.

Was craving for south dosa in chandler and found this south Indian restaurant. We had the grill thali which contains one idli, one medu vada, one masala dosa, one drink and a sweet. The masala of the masala dosa was good but a little bland but the dosa was on point. The sambhar was thin but tasty and the coconut chutney was very weird. The idli was soft and yummy and The medu wada was crispy and delicious, difficult to find in tempe and chandler.Overall would recommend this place for medu wada and dosa
