Lived just up the street for years and this was our favorite breakfast stop. We noticed all the "kids" and familiar faces who had been helping us for years were all of a sudden gone. I see other reviews talk about new owners and as someone in the service industry that definitely tracks with what the service have become. Have been numerous times since the apparent change, craving my normal order, and after a handful of times have yet to still get the order I actually place. Biggest mistake new owners make is bringing in a completely new team and not learning what they can from those that have been there doing the job before. The food is fine, but not what it used to be, and certainly not the atmosphere or efficiency it once was. Sadly can't say I'll be craving this former hotspot anymore. :(

I am writing this review with love, hope, and a passion for good bagels that are walkable to me. I NEED the new ownership to get a better system, I cannot lose my favorite spot. I've been a few times since it changed, and I just went again after a month off, and figured that would have been enough time to get over the learning curve and have everyone trained up. I waited around 30 minutes for my lox, egg and cheese bagel, and when they finally called my name it was lox and cream cheese. When I pointed this out, it seemed like they didn't even know that was an option on the menu (it was clearly written on my ticket by the person who took my order) and they pulled a piece of egg with cheese out of the oven and gave it to me in a separate container (to be fair, I offered to just take the wrong bagel, I wasn't waiting another 30 minutes for the right order.) Content with my lox, cream cheese, and egg piece, I noticed that there were no capers, and an absolute pile of black pepper. My coffee STILL wasn't ready by then, so I waited another 10 minutes, then decided to go stand by the coffee counter, and saw it had been sitting there, never heard my name. There was a new guy training at the register and taking bagel orders, it seemed like he was just thrown to the wolves, deer in headlights. Some poor lady was waiting when I first walked in and still waiting when I got my order, I think I saw her finally get her one bagel after she must've been standing there 40 minutes. A woman asked about a peanut allergy, I don't think the employee she was talking to understood what she was asking. Another woman got the wrong bagel, when she asked for it to be remade, they were out of the bagel she had wanted originally, so she had to go back to the checkout line to get reimbursed. It was chaos. I'm not inviting friends here anymore because I have to explain to them their order might be wrong and I have no idea how long we'll be waiting. I miss the kids who worked under the old ownership. The system still was chaotic, but they churned out the coffee and bagels, the orders were correct, they would yell your name at the top of their lungs and chase you down until you took your damn bagel. The new folks can't be heard well and just yell a name over and over again, and then have to stop what they are doing because someone will come up asking if their bagel is ready yet. If I order coffee and a bagel, I don't know which will be ready first, so if I stand at the coffee counter I can't hear when my bagel is ready, and vice versa. I think you need a numbering system instead of names, that way it's easier to understand and you know how close they are to your order. And ideally I think the bagels and coffee would come from the same counter. Maybe you hire back some of the kids who worked there before and were practiced with the system. You guys have a full customer base at your disposal, it was still busy as ever today. I will be devastated if that gets chipped away and this place goes under, please don't make Starbucks my only walkable option. I am eager and ready to update this review, I'll continue to get my Saturday bagel and hope for the best.

In the quest for the perfect bagel in Woodinville, my journey came to a delightful halt at Woodinville Bagel Bakery.Every visit to Woodinville Bagel Bakery is an assurance of a great start to the day. My staple order is a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel that never fails to impress. The bagel is always toasted to just the right and everything goes so well. For those mornings when I crave something sweet, the French toast bagel with sweet cream on the side is my go to.I always order these to go, allowing me to savor the flavors in the comfort of my home. For anyone in search of a good bagel shop, make sure to stop by and give them a try.

The bagel options are vast! It is very nice to have so many options. Beware they sell out so don't go too close to closing. Our bagel sandwiches were good, however, mine did not have much flavor. Like, it needed some salt and pepper desperately.I would return if I'm craving a bagel but am too lazy to make at home. Otherwise, it is kinda pricey for what you get. In other news- it is clean and inviting inside.

Some reviewers have praised the previous ownership, but I can only speak to the current ownership. As a bagel lover who can even enjoy grocery store bagels, I find Woodinville Bagel Bakery to be among the best in the area. Their bagels stay fresh longer and taste better than most, and their cream cheeses are excellent, although they have a short expiration date. The servers, who are young adults, are friendly and kind. Here's the summary:Service: Above average.Food: Above average and tasty (I haven't tried their bagel sandwiches yet).Price: Reasonable.Parking: Located in a small mall area with very tight and often crowded spots (free of charge).Tip: While there are some tables and chairs, this is not a dining place during busy hours. Some bagels can sell out quickly.

I have been going here regularly for years as it is the only bagel place in the area. It has gone severely downhill recently in quality and service. I asked for extra cream cheese today and paid extra for it. What I got wasn't even a regular amount of cream cheese. It was barely a teaspoon. So disappointed because this used to be my favorite! It's now more expensive and the bagels are smaller. I'd rather drive twenty extra minutes to Redmond.

I can't believe we missed this place for so long, we have had breakfast here twice now.The first time we got, Bacon Egg & Cheese on Cheddar Parsley bagel, and Ham Egg & Cheese on Garlic Bagel. We loved both our breakfast sandwiches. I also liked the hot chocolate I got.The second time we got there a little later in the day on a Saturday, and we didn't have a lot of options for bagels left. We got Egg & Cheese on Blueberry bagels. The blueberry bagel was good, it was a little sweet for me for a breakfast sandwich. I think I would like it better with only cream cheese. Go early for all the bagel options.
